Ordered a vase for my friends 60Birthday, paid extra for next day delivery, and was concerned that I didn't receive a tracking number, but was delighted when my parcel arrived next day, well packaged and in perfect condition, vase is absolutely beautiful.

When I was getting worried if the personalised book I had ordered was going to arrive in time for my granddaughter's birthday, Wendy replied immediately telling me it had been delivered while I was out. I spent an age looking for a Bosmere garden furniture cover to replace one I have which had been torn. Multiple retailers stocked this brand but only GardenFurnitureCovers.com had the size I wanted in stock. I placed the order on a Sunday evening and sent a request for an update on the delivery the following Tuesday. Wendy Shepherd, Head of Operations at Sixtystores.co.uk replied to be the same day with an update and the cover was delivered on the Wednesday by Evri courier. Unfortunately the delivery did not have one of the items I had ordered. I followed up and asked Wendy for an update and she replied immediately and said the item was being shipped to me from the supplier. Unfortunately in this day and age receiving excellent customer service is a rarity. However Wendy was excellent. Based on this alone I would have no hesitation to return as a repeat customer should I need anything else from GardenFurnitureCovers.com.

Dismissive "Couldn’t‑care‑less" attitude
My experience with one of Sixty Stores’ brands showed a wider problem with how this company handles customers. A simple pre‑delivery amendment was refused without explanation, I was told to accept delivery without being given the cost implications, and only afterwards was I quoted £172.98 for a basic modular panel swap which should have cost £15!
Wendy of Sixty Stores hid behind vague “made‑to‑order” wording (untrue - it was an off-the shelf modular product!) instead of addressing the misleading advice I was given. The overall approach felt rigid, opaque, and unfair.
The manufacturer, Redlands, also refused to help. Their approach was rigid, dismissive, and showed a flat refusal to engage with customers.
I genuinely feel having been taken advantage of.
Beware! They are not trustworthy.
Update: I have full documentation of this purchase and have provided the details to Citizens Advice for Trading Standards review. I remain open to resolving this fairly with the trader, but neither Wendy nor Ben responded. These are the same names mentioned in several other recent reviews, and they were the individuals who handled my order as well.
