Wonderful dog shop with lovely staff. They went out of their way to sort out our dog coat requirements. We have been in this shop many times and it has always been a positive experience.

The whole experience was a complete let down. I purchased a sling which arrived in good time - had to pay postage for it even though it was £50 - not a major problem but an additional cost. I tested this for my dog and it was not suitable even though the description indicated that it was suitable for dogs up to 6 kg (not suitable as my dog is 2.5 kilo and the sling strap was choking her, I stopped using it immediately). I then messaged Slickers stating that I had place her in to test - was this classified as used? They responded indicating that I could send it back - however if it was deemed as used the would not process a refund. I asked them if I could send it back without the original packaging, again they indicated that I could. With that in mind I then sent it back - I received a message indicating they had received and it was now out of the 14 day period and there were dirty marks everywhere and covered in hair - which it was not. There may have been some hair not not everywhere. I accepted that they would not provide a refund - they then indicated postage was another £5 when I requested that they send my property back to me. One of the worst experiences of online purchasing ever. Would not recommend them in any way

Ordered wrong size and they obligingly changed it with no problem at all. Easy return and quick delivery of the new sized item. Very happy with their service, would highly recommend online service.

Really pleased with the way our online order was processed so efficiently. Everything arrived within a couple of days and was well packaged. We wouldn’t hesitate to order again from Slickers Doghouse. In fact they’ll be our first port of call from now on!

Amazing shop, with huge expertise and knowledge by mum and daughter. Guided us to the best product (in-line harness 5.0) for our anxious/frustrated pulling dog. She was great in the shop with him even though he was anxious and the new harness has been amazing!! We’ve tried five different designs and this one has hugely reduced his rasping when he pulls, wish we’d got it ages ago!! She guided us to a slightly different size to better manage the problem whilst still securely holding him. HUGE thanks, has made such a difference to my boy, and me!

Ordered a dog sling and it arrived in 2 days. Very well made and a lovely colour (denim blue). Will definitely be ordering from this UK company.

The staff were really helpful and had amazing knowledge of the types of strollers
They let my dog try the shop stroller and showed me how to open and drop the stroller
I did not buy the stroller in the store but I purchased it online and had free delivery
