I am very! satisfied with SLS Solicitors. They handled my claim relating to a leaky roof and ceiling as well as bad windows and an unsafe front door.

The person they sent to view the repairs that needed to be done was a nice guy, polite and professional.

They moved quickly, however, it still took 9 months to complete as the housing association dragged their feet. The only thing I found frustrating at the beginning of my case was SLS's lack of communication with me. I did email them to say that I wasn't getting any updates and then I received a call from Mohammed Safyan (Legal Advisor) who apologised after that Mohammed kept me fully updated on every aspect of my case.

I highly recommend SLS services to anyone facing similar challenges. But to me, Mohammed Safyan was their star.

SLS solicitors helped me to claim compensation for housing disrepairs. Saaqib took over my case half way through and was very thorough with communication. His patience and understanding was excellent. He took time to explain each stage and advise me on what was happening. Once my case was settled the payment was transferred very quickly. I am extremely happy with the service provided by SLS Solicitor. Before seeking advice and services from the SLS Solicitor, I had spoken to many solicitors and agencies. My situation would have been resolved by issuing a Section 8 notice to my tenant but to my surprise, everyone advised me to go through the longer route (Section 21). I was told that taking the Section 8 route is not legally correct. I was really baffled by their justification because I was sure that Section 8 was a better option. I spoke to Mr. Sheik and within a few minutes of our discussion, he assured me that I could go through the Section 8 route. At no point, did he put me in doubt by saying that I had to pick up an option and they would help me. Instead, I was given 100% assurance and he was dead sure about the outcome. Many times during the long journey of getting possession of my property I felt scared thinking what if the decision doesn’t come in my favour or unnecessarily gets prolonged. Mr Sheik was more than 100% confident and calmed my nerves every time. Finally, the decision was made in my favour.
What I found was that once I had handed over the case to the SLS Solicitor I would have got the same result at the same time even if I had never made any call to them for updates or bothered about progress. Their process and people would have taken care of everything seamlessly. I am grateful to Mr Sheik and the full SLS Solicitors team for making this possible.
I would highly recommend them for any legal issues. Another important aspect of the SLS Solicitor is their fees without any compromise on the quality of service and support provided. I don’t think it would be easy for anyone to match or beat the price without compromising on the service and support.
