Staff are fantastic aswell

The classes, particularly pilates are amazing at this branch. Staff are terrific and always make you feel welcome and the atmosphere in the gym is calm yet vibrant and attracts a great membership.
This particular branch is beginning to look tired and really needs attention and some TLC, like the front door being fixed as it does not close easily, the upstairs space being fully utilised, car park needing new painted lines to ensure fair parking and a couple of other small things - otherwise i would have given it 5 stars. I would still say to people to join as you won't easily find a nice gym to be a member of.

Snap Fitness offers a consistently positive gym experience, with friendly and approachable staff who help create a welcoming, community-focused atmosphere for members of all fitness levels. The equipment is modern, well-maintained, and provides a good balance of free weights, machines, and functional training space, making workouts efficient and enjoyable. Cleanliness is typically a strong point, with tidy workout areas and well-kept facilities that reflect good management standards. Members also tend to be respectful and focused, contributing to a comfortable, non-intimidating environment where you can train confidently and stay motivated.

Snap fitness is great as the gym is never completely full. The only thing I’d change is the cleanliness, there is dust and dirt buildup in the running machine screen corners in particular and cobwebs around the TVs. There is also dirt buildup in the corners of the studio upstairs.

So happy to see Courtney she was very approachable Snap Fitness is the place to be, she is full of enthusiasm which enthuses everybody, great job!

My experience with this gym has been mixed.

To begin on a positive note, the staff are genuinely excellent. In particular, Nathan stands out as a true professional and a gentleman—his conduct and support have been consistently commendable.
However, there are significant operational and facility issues that have made my overall experience frustrating. The entry door sensor system is highly inadequate. On numerous occasions, it has incorrectly registered my gym bag as a second person, resulting in repeated access issues. This has made approximately 95% of my visits unnecessarily stressful and inconvenient—something I have not encountered at any other gym.

I formally contacted management on 13 April 2026 outlining three reasonable options to resolve the matter:

1-Repair or properly recalibrate the door system
2-Provide a secure long-term locker to reduce the need to carry additional items
3-Issue a refund so I could join an alternative facility
Unfortunately, I have received no response to date.

In addition, several pieces of equipment appear to be well beyond their serviceable lifespan. Ropes, bars, and grips show clear signs of excessive wear, and there is a noticeable lack of standard weight plates (specifically 15kg and 25kg), which limits training effectiveness.
Regrettably, the overall experience does not reflect the standards presented prior to signing the contract. There appears to be a disconnect between initial expectations and actual service delivery.

Conclusion:
Based on my experience, I would not recommend the Kenton branch—particularly for individuals who are serious about training and expect a reliable, well-maintained, and stress-free environment.

Friendly lovely place to come to anytime of the day

Great gym super friendly classes are great the instructors are super friendly with classes that push you to your best! Molly is great she is super friendly and super kind always enjoy mollys classes!

The staff are really nice. The atmosphere is great. The people who use the gym are friendly. You're not made to feel like you don't belong

I'd give a 4.5 score if it was an option. The premises are clean and light and the machines are generally available when you want to use them.
Access is available 24/7 and there's a wide variety of equipment

Really impressed with SNAP, the gym is well equipped with good quality machines, loads of plates and a really comprehensive range of loose weights.
The whole place is well looked after and up till now has been very clean and pretty tidy. Open 24/7 is obviously a fantastic thing and I love training in the early hours.
All in all a great place to train

Snap Fitness in Wisbech is the best gym I have joined with high quality equipment and the best staff! It is a clean gym that has excellent access.
As I live in Leicestershire I did visit other Snap Fitness gyms and they were also good but with the facilities, equipment and staff this is Number one!!! Well done all.

I find the atmosphere so relaxing and welcoming as well as the times being 24/7 really works as I can work around my schedule rather than having to cram it in. Also so much equipment and weights that I’m never waiting too long for anything.

I have been to many gyms, snap fitness and other brands, but Eltham snap fitness is one of the best gyms in all aspects.

The gym is beautiful. The toilets are very clean and tidy, have hot water and automatic dispensers with some really nice soap in them. I haven't tried out the showers though.

The equipment is very good and looked after. I absolutely love the treadmills! They are amazing! Chest, back and shoulder machines are very solid too!

The staff are incredible. I feel like I'm with my family throughout every single interaction with them. They're very kind and chill.

The price to quality ratio. For £30 a month (student discount) you get an amazing experience, clean equipment, friendly staff and an amazing location. It feels very generous of whoever owns Eltham snap fitness.

The only drawbacks I could think of are:

The gym is a bit small. Though I have to admit, they really did their best to put as much equipment in there as possible. Good job, Eltham snap fitness! :)

During peak hours it could feel a bit too crowded. So it's better to go in the mornings or late evenings.

Overall, I know I sound like a paid promotion that is too positive, but this is my genuine opinion about this gym. I absolutely love it!
