Unnecessarily complicated app. Long winded steps just to apply for a house to live in. Ridiculous!

Snug is a massive waste of time . Nearly an hour trying to sign up and apply for one property and still no success . No one should have to deal with this
I can only imagine all their positive reviews are fake .

I had a really positive experience using Snug during what was a stressful rental search. As a single parent looking for a new home within a tight timeframe, I found the platform easy to navigate and appreciated being able to create a comprehensive profile that could be shared across multiple applications.

The ability to store references, rental history and supporting documents in one place saved a significant amount of time and made the application process much more efficient. Communication was clear throughout, and receiving updates on the status of applications helped reduce uncertainty.

After applying for several properties, I was delighted to receive a lease offer for a home that suits my family's needs. I would definitely recommend Snug to anyone looking to streamline the rental application process.

If I could leave a negative star review I would. This is the WORST app I have EVER encounterd. 2 people, 3 hours and gave up trying to submit the rental application.

Avoid at all costs.

Snug was incredibly user friendly. Every step of the application process was clearly laid out and the email communications were helpful. I managed to apply for rental properties easily which is no easy feat these days. I also really appreciate that it saves the referee details for each application. Will definitely be using this for my next rental application!

The website was super straight forward and easy to use. The website was nice and new and not old and clunky like some others. Uploading attachments and providing all the details needed was clear and easy. Also loved how clearly it was to see which properties you had applied for and adding people to the application as well. Generally the interface was just clean and clear and I could find everything easily. The only thing that’s frustrated me was having to use an Australia cellphone number to sign up. I’m sure there are plenty of people (like myself) who are trying to find properties before they move to Sydney so I found it a bit annoying having to use someone else’s number

Snug made applying for properties so much easier! The interface is modern, intuitive, and saved me a lot of time. Getting the lease offer was the cherry on top. Great platform!

Snug has been a great tool.
It has made applying for houses simple, with a clear step by step process starting from the very first step which is creating your application.
Seeing the progress of your application is insightful and keeps you up to date without having to call the realestate to get updates.

Snug also keeps your application saved ready for you to very quickly apply for multiple houses.

Absolutely dreadful platform for residential rental applications. Kept coming up with an error that my address history was incorrect ("Incomplete information: must match format "date""), even though I used the calendar provided to list the date. Cites a Medicare card as a secondary form of ID, but then doesn't include Medicare card as a type of ID (closest thing is something like a Centrelink card). Stupid and absolutely worthless.

Horrible site and absolutely disgusting how much information they want from you. like what more do you want? should I put in the name of the hospital I was born in too? do you want to know my microwave brand too?? most of us just want a bloody place to live. what the hell is wrong with these people? literally provide no information on who the agents are too. terrible site for rental applications in an even worse, most disgusting rental market I've ever seen and I hope the site gets nuked. they don't deserve the 3.8 stars. I'd give them 0 if I could. if you're reading this I'm terribly sorry you have to experience using this horrendous site as well.

The snug app would be the worst application app we’ve come across. Almost impossible to upload files without having to attempt multiple times. Requiring 100 points and having Drivers License, Medicare not equal 100 seems out of ordinary. Found it almost impossible to complete and intrusive with requirements. Asking for us to chase up previous landlords and property agents is also unnecessary and intrusive. Won’t be applying using this app

This was our first time using Snug and the experience was very positive. The platform was clear, user-friendly, and easy to navigate. We particularly valued the notifications, which kept us informed throughout the application process. After our application was successful, we also found the additional support offered, such as assistance with organising moving and cleaning services, extremely helpful. We would be more than happy to use Snug again in the future.

Firstly, i cannot create a service ticket with my gmail account. Secondly, i've been getting the same internal message for over a week and cannot apply for any properties.

internal error: failed to update application

Was completing an application with my flatmate who has his own password on his own computer using his own profile snug has decided to join our profiles eliminating some of my information and combining his into my account. There appears to be no way to untangle this situation. Real estate agents are unable to view either of our complete profiles and applications. The app is complete shit.

Applying for a rental through snug.com was honestly quite frustrating. The whole process felt longer and more complicated than it needed to be, with too many steps that didn’t always make sense. The data checks don’t seem very reliable either-I ran into a few issues where things weren’t validated properly, which just added to the confusion. On top of that, the site can be glitchy at times, and I had to redo parts of my application more than once.
Overall, it wasn’t a smooth experience and felt quite poorly put together.

The process was so easy to navigate through and everything done from the comfort of my home on my phone
