I was looking for a conveyancer in the area for a property purchase and stumbled upon Nicola by accident, as the Eastbourne office had been recommended. However they were acting for the vendor, but introduced me to Hastings, at my request, as the firm had been recommended. Throughout the process I was kept apprised of progress and always felt that my interests were protected. A highly proficient service.

When our supplier failed to deliver on a contract and cited that cancelling would mean we were not entitled to our deposit back (several thousands) we realised the only way to get our money returned would be to obtain legal assistance. We cannot thank SO Legal and specifically Michael Mulcare enough for the swift response. Michael was an excellent communicator and diligently went through all details relating to the failed contract before sending on our behalf a methodical, reasoned legal letter before claim on our behalf. The successful result of this was a full refund of the deposit within the two week deadline. We would not hesitate to recommend Michael and SO Legal to others for litigation advise and action. While we don’t want to have a litigation issue again in a hurry, if we did, Michael would be the first person we would contact. When it comes to law and getting results a legal advisor is worth his/her weight in gold.

Me and my partner bought our first house in august 2023 (sorry Joe for taking me this long to write a review) but Joe and his team at SO legal were absolutely amazing I cannot fault them one bit. Joe and his team managed our sale from around 100miles away and I never had any complaints - he was very responsive and managed all my queries quickly.

I cannot recommend this company enough and especially Joe! If we were to buy another house we would definitely be using SO legal again without doubt.

Nicole Hoddinott dealt with my wife's complicated deputyship for her mother's affairs, then handled the probate, which included the sale of her property.
