I’m have zero experience with court so…

I’m have zero experience with court so I tried this company specifically because I life in a different state than which I am filing from. I had a dental malpractice case and for anything medical in the state of Tennessee you basic have a year to present your case or you reach the statutes of limitations. My first mistake was trusting and paying for a service without actually talking to someone first. There’s no contact number so you will never be able to talk to anyone unless they schedule a zoom call or send an email and even then it’s a different person each time. I submitted my case back May 15th 2024 for $438.00 total and it stated 2-3 weeks to be accepted by the courts. On May 24th 2024 I was as to have the documents signed by a notary which I did and sent back on the same day. On May 30th I was told they were sorry for the delay and they would proceed with filing. On May 31st I was told triple check was complete and they would be filing in another 3 business days. I didn’t not receive any information for months I reached out via email in October 7th requesting a full refund and was told someone will contact me in 1-2 business days. Instead of contacting me Squabble decides to deliver it to the courts on the 8th which means they had not done it this entire time furthermore I asked for a refund but instead they decide to do the job the we’re for for months ago despite my request for refund. On Oct 10th I asked for my refund again and got no contact until Oct.22nd where I was told to set up a zoom meeting to talk about the case to which I replied for the 3rd time that I want my refund. And then I no longer received any contact from the squabble team. Today is December 24th Christmas Eve and I get a letter in the mail from the clerks office where the paperwork should have been filed and it stated it was filed November 1st 2024, 5months after I submitted my case and the paper work was missing the case number, the hearing date and time for defendant to be served by process server and also the check for the clerk for filing filled out wrong. I just reached out again asking for my refund for the 4th time. In the event that my case actually does get filed properly we have probably already reached the statues of limitations, and it will get thrown out.

These people are crooks. It’s a joke and a scam. They got the defendant’s address wrong, they couldn’t be served and they took
absolutely no responsibility for it. Their iPhone app was removed from the App Store because it received so many poor reviews. A miserable failure.

You submitted your claim with Squabble nearly a year ago. Your case was submitted and accepted by the court using the defendant's name and address you provided. Service was performed by the court via certified mail. In the event it fails then it can be attempted on the same or alternate addresses using a process server once the court notifies you of failed certified mail delivery. This is specific to certain jurisdictions such as New York.

In the event of a failed service of process, Squabble can perform additional service of process attempts upon the defendant and help with postponing or refiling the case to accommodate for the additional time required to do so. For businesses we rely on the registered agent of service filed with the Secretary of State and can also attempt service directly on the business. Absolute Scam - Stay Far Away!

I made a $420 payment to Squabble Inc. on September 5th, 2024 through Amazon Pay, trusting it was a legitimate platform. I immediately requested a refund within 48 hours due to poor service and unresolved issues, yet Squabble refused to honor my request. Worse still, they blocked two separate chargeback attempts initiated with my bank.
After reading reviews on Trustpilot, I discovered I wasn’t alone—this company has a pattern of scamming customers, refusing refunds, and offering nothing of value in return. They promise solutions for legal disputes, but instead, they create frustration, financial loss, and endless runarounds.
Despite reaching out to them countless times and escalating the issue, Squabble has shown zero accountability. Their fraudulent practices cost me not just $420 but also a prior $68 loss. Save yourself the stress and avoid Squabble at all costs!
Squabble Inc. is a scam. I’ve reported them to Amazon Pay and other financial platforms for investigation.

We have communicated on this before in many forums. I assure you that Squabble did not "Block" any disputes you had with your bank. The bank issued a dispute with Squabble requiring Squabble to furnish documentation. Prior to your dispute we authorized a refund on some of your costs that had not been incurred, however, were not able to refund them due to the dispute that was filed by you (not our policy, it was bank policy). It was our desire to provide those refunds on the case you wanted to cancel.

Squabble indicated to your bank that we were attempting to and wanted to refund part of those costs on your dispute you filed. Your bank closed out the dispute and we are unable to provide that partial refund still.

I will work with my team to figure out another solution. Ideally, we would have either finished filing the case or had more time for our accounting department to complete the proposed refund on the cancellation. With that said, we understand your sentiment and will try to find another solution.

Terrible service

Terrible service. They created two cases for me. both were rejected by the courts. They refused to refund me more than a tiny amount and now i'm back at square 1. Really bad service. Just file with small claims yourself. Don't use them. Very rude too. scammers

Squabble is a joke

Squabble is a joke. If you use them don't pay for the high end package. They're very slow to respond, and they do NOT refund your money if you lose in court like they claim. They ghost you after you send them the dismissal. Also, use abclegal for service. They're about $30 cheaper and they communicate with you. The only good thing about them is they do make submitting the initial paperwork easy. But if you think the paralegal service is going to help catch little details, they won't. The defendent in my case used defunct business name that had been absolved 10 years ago and they didn't catch it. So I had to refile. Just use the basic services if you use them.

This place is a joke!!

This place is a joke!!! They say they file your claim which takes like one to two months to file and they say they hand deliver the suit with a process server but they have the court send it certified mail.
Then when they can’t get it served they call you at the last minute and say you have to pay more money to find the new address then they do nothing and you miss your court date for they fail to communicate with you!!
I disputed my credit card charges and will do it with a legitimate company!!
BUYER BEWARE STAY AWAY……

I've researched your case. If the court attempted certified mail then that is simply the process that some courts follow. We did, however, also send out a process server to attempt to serve the documents. The defendant was determined to not reside at that address.

Also, some courts (and especially several around the Sacramento area) have been experiencing longer than normal delays in processing new case filings.

A skip trace discovered a newer potential address in Rocklin. The service of process on that address is on hold until a motion is filed with the court for a continuance to allow for more time to attempt service at that new address.

Service of process can be difficult when the defendant is not easy to find and it is common to file for court continuances to allow for more time to locate the defendant.

I see you have filed 3 cases with Squabble. All 3 of them were filed and accepted by the courts within 5 days and I see that 2 of them were successfully served (defendant served court summons). I see on one of the cases that the process server was not able to track down the defendant after multiple attempts.

I noticed you had a recent court date. I also see that one of your cases is a Dedicated Case Agent package (The KLM Trans case).

I encourage you to log into your account and use that case to schedule an appointment to meet with a case agent. You can discuss any of your 3 cases if you wish, but that case will give you an option to schedule the appointment.

This will allow us to better understand your experience and determine if there is anything we can do to assist you beyond what we have already done.

Once again squabble replies with more useless stuff. Key words .... yes yiu accepted that I pay the fees AND THEN demanded more... and after I said "NO THANKS" you took forever and refunded 80 bucks. After months of emails yes I disputed the charge.

However, you have a 2nd case that you need to refund. That one needs to be refunded to me as that credit acct is closed

First of all they say they have attorneys standing by that help out and that they will type and send you perfect documents for you to file it you can pay extra for them to file them. I paid for the "perfect documents" but said I would file them myself. THEY SENT ME DOCUMENTS THAT THEY DOWNLOADED OF THE INTERNET! They were print and fill documents. They took the info that I sent to their website and entered it into these print and fill pdf forms. Not only that but they did a crappy job. Because their text that they typed in was off-center and below the line. That is not what I can professionally typed documents. I was actually looking at the very same documents just before going to their website. If I wanted print and fill documents I could have downloaded them myself. And not had to pay $68 for them. WHATEVER YOU DO. STAY AWAY FROM SQUABBLE. YOU'LL GET CRAPPY MADE DOCUMENTS WHEN YOU CAN GET THE SAME DOCUMENTS FREE IF YOU JUST TAKE A MINUTE AND LOOK. Squabble prepares and files paperwork for all jurisdictions in the U.S. Some jurisdictions (such as yours) literally have very simple forms whereas many have much more complicated forms as well as very particular requirements for who you can sue, what you can sue for or where to file that suit.

The forms do indeed come directly from the courts (as they must). In your jurisdiction the form is quite (I would even say overly) simple, but this is not the case for a majority of court documents in most jurisdictions. Some jurisdictions don't even have forms available online or they have various attachments to those forms that are required for in certain situations.

The intended value is not just in preparing the paperwork, but it is ensuring you can sue in that jurisdiction as well as providing other optional services that can aid you such as having Squabble ultimately file the case and serve the defendant or have a professional case assessment prepared for you to be better prepared to defend your case.

Thank you for using Squabble. In the future, if you need to have this case or another case filed for you as well as have the defendants properly served, I hope you consider us.

Some courts have documents that must be notarized. Notarize.com is typically the most cost-efficient way to do this.

I tried contacting them with a simple phone call to ask a few basic questions before paying and starting the process, but their phone number is impossible to find. Are they hiding from someone? Will they continue hiding from me after receiving my payment?

I had high hopes for you service..
It all sounds good in the beginning and it looks very quick and efficient..
Until you start to see how it really works..

I emailed your company numerous times for weeks and weeks…to correct the misspelling of my name on the court documents and never got an answer
I had to go to court myself yesterday and amend the paperwork
I also had the sheriff serve the defendant for $50 without paying your $118 fee
Your company Squabble charged my credit card for another case which you never filed

I asked for a refund and you never refunded my card and that is fraudulent!!

I even told you to put that money toward serving the defendant for $118
Which again you never did, or even replied, or acknowledged..

Shame on your company for not doing your job properly and charging customers fraudulently
I requested my money back and I need heard back from your company
I requested to speak with someone directly and no one answered..
Your company will not survive doing business this way

This experience was a waste of my time and I could have done it myself much faster and easier for FREE

Terrible customer service

Squabble international inc, very hard to ever talk to the same person and they are absolutely the worst on returning calls or emails, usually I got response in over 10 days with a promise of someone calling me and never happened. They did file paper work but seems they are so over welmed they can not deal with you once you pay. They changed their rate on process serving half way through my case but made me wait until the change took effect to tell me oh it's more now. I did get reimbursed the difference only after posting my review. If you buy the fully loaded plan you are to get a dedicated agent. Only problem was you have to do it through Goggle meets and they assume everyone is saved to using these apps, sorry I'm not one of those tech savvy people, what the hell is wrong with a simple phone call?? I'm sorry I paid for the full hold my hand and walk me through this court process, I just feel i didn't get that, but that may be just me I still stand by my review.
Over all I'd say try other avenues first.

Yes. Your case was filed, accepted by the court and service of process has been started (serving the defendant the court summons).

Our prices have not been updated since January and before that not for several years. I believe you are referring to the service of process charge. It is cheaper to purchase it along with your original filing as it gets included in our initial triple-check process of verifying all information provided. If purchased after that we have to perform similar tasks again and there is just more human resources involved, so a slightly higher cost is incurred.

If you log into your dashboard online (where you can check the status of your case) you will notice that as a Dedicated Case Agent customer (our highest package) there is a button to schedule an appointment. These are done through Google Meet and you can schedule as many of those as you would like to speak directly to a senior member of our case review team.

I encourage you to schedule an appointment if you have any questions, concerns or feedback that you would like to share directly with us.

In the meantime, I have gone ahead and refunded part of your most recent service of process fees to match the amount you would have paid originally had you selected it as an add-on at the initial checkout.

Company is a scam

Company is a scam! They did not give me the services I paid for and refused to refund my money when I lost my case due to their failure.

Update: I reached out as they asked me to, they still won't respond and won't refund my money. TOTAL SCAM!

Update2: I was already told I would receive a refund by your representative when the case was first rejected but they disappeared when it was time to give me the refund. This is the third time now you have a new EXCUSE for why you cannot refund my money. You are AWFUL, you should be ASHAMED to work for such an unethical organization. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK, YOU RIPPED ME OFF!!!!

We can merely check your submission for accuracy and file and serve in the appropriate jurisdiction. If you have a claim against another entity that you would like to file, we would be happy to provide Case Agent guidance free of charge by upgrading your case to Dedicated Case Agent if you file through the File the Case Package.

Since your last case was a Dedicated Case Agent package you could choose to invoke our "Money Back Guarantee" which would entitle you to receive a refund of your Squabble package fee. This is described in section 6 of our Terms of Service which can be found here: https://www.squabbleapp.com/terms.

Within it is a requirement to send us the "Notice of Entry Judgment" with it showing that you should receive $0.00 from the other party. This had to be submitted to us within 30 days from either the date of the mailing if you received it by mail or the date of the email if you received a copy by email. We would be willing to omit the 30-day requirement if you could provide that documentation.

UPDATE: Chris, I looked into all e-mail communication and do see where we attempted to refund the package fee, however, it was in dispute at the time and we were not able to perform refunds until the dispute cleared. In seeing that, I have gone ahead and refunded your full package fee.

Sadly I am following up on my previous post. The folks at Squabble failed to provide proper notice for service of process to the other party to the court, they also failed to name both parties. I posted 7 days ago, they say they want to fix it but are now ignoring me. I recommend not using them, if you are going to take the risk, use AMEX so you can dispute the charge. This is a simple service and they charge a substantial premium for clerical paralegal work. It should be lucrative, but they are completely blowing it. BUYER BEWARE.

Emailed again and got a BOT reply. Yes that is correct company.
UPDATED 9/12: Simply not true and you know it. Not a single email, nothing on the portal. You only seem to pop up when someone writes a bad review. Dont lie to try to make customers look bad, just do your job. I reviewed what I sent you and the business entity is CLEARLY on there especially since they are a national known company. What a load of BS ... spend less time on review sites and more doing your job? Original Review: Took my money on Aug 17, 2024. Zero movement, zero communication so far. I emailed August 30, 2024 no reply. Emailed Sept 9 2024 got a canned auto reply. Clearly they have a email flag for the word scam and it triggered a bot reply. As of Sept 11 no human replies and my case is still "in review". It's a simple did not provide service case. Nothing complicated. Could have (should have) done this on my own. Was hoping for something easier and less time consuming but its turning out not to be. Had to make a claim with my credit card company.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the level of support I have received so far. When I signed up for your services, I was promised a dedicated helper to assist me with my case. I have only received generic e-mails. Provide me with the dedicated helper I was promised or offer a more a more personalized approach to my case? Do not use them

Do not use them. I have the feeling it’s a scam. No phone number and no where to be found online. They have not done what they promised. Waiting to hear from them but haven’t.

We apologize for the delay. Your case has been filed. The contract you sent to us that needed to be attached to your court documents got misplaced in our emails. The is not common at all and I put some filters in place to highlight them better.

We are currently working on a new feature on our system to allow customers to upload notarized documents, contracts, agreements, demand letters sent to defendant, etc. They are not always required for every type of case or jurisdiction, however, then they are it would be more convenient to not have to email attachments back and forth. This will make the process better for both customers and the Squabble Case Review Team.

Complete disaster

Complete disaster, the service could not even serve the correct defendant after three attempts. The court threw out my case after all the incompetence. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, a first year law student could do better!

The process server (ABC Legal) served the documents on the defendant at a personal address you provided us. The process server spoke with an individual who identified themselves as the defendant's husband in which case substituted service was performed and indicated on the proof of service documentation signed by the process server and filed with the court.

This was done on July 13th and was served on Joshua Leasure who stated he was the husband of the defendant, Kari Kohen Leasure. It was served at their home address which was provided by you.

Guaranteed but Non-Refundable

It's been 2 weeks since I submitted my case for Squabble to draw up paperwork under their $68 "Perfect Paperwork" package, which guarantees 100% accurate, triple checked small claims paperwork. The paperwork I received contained typographical errors and even included court and filing fees in an answer to a question that explicitly stated "do not include court or filing fees" and so I asked for a refund. I've gotten only automated replies, no human response, and there is not reachable customer service number for squabble.

I also discovered in the terms of use, that all squabble fees are non-refundable, which directly contradicts the 100% money back guarantees that appear in multiple places in the advertised services, including the "perfect paperwork" package.

Overall, incredibly disappointed in a service that could be helpful for folks with limited legal knowledge/experience, but is poorly executed with rather terrible customer service (or lack thereof) and predatory sales tactics.

The "demand letter template" is just that, they pre-fill absolutely none of the information that you provide, and the template isn't even an editable doc, but a static PDF. So for $68, you get imperfect paperwork that might even prevent your case from being accepted by the court, and a boilerplate and difficult to customize demand letter from a childishly named company.

We have Triple-Checked your claim and have attached your 100% guaranteed correct and unfiled court documents for.......

They typo was when you took my answer from two questions and squished them into one field joining a properly punctuated complete sentence.; With a semicolon to the filing fees that were explicitly not supposed to go in that portion of the form (read the directions.)

And apologies, it wasn't a PDF, but a Microsoft word document that was tedious to fill out and didn't even come prefilled with the information already collected by Squabble.

You could help by learning not to use online reviews to argue with unhappy customers but as an opportunity to provide better customer service, and maybe someone could respond to my email inquiring about a refund.

I did ask if you worked on contingency, you said no. So I paid the $68 under the impression that if the paperwork wasn't perfect (it was not as filing fees were listed in an area marked "do not list court fees") squabble would make it right. They instead, made my review into an argument.

I looked into your case. I'll respond to each of your comments:

1) You mentioned you only received automated responses. The only automated response that was sent was the e-mail containing your court paperwork and demand letter template with instructions on demanding money from the defendant and ways to either file the case yourself or upgrade your package with us so that we can handle all of that for you.

2) There were no typographical errors in your court documents. The information in the explanation that was put on the court forms is the information you provided yourself. We cannot legally edit or change your explanations. Your explanations appear clear and concise in my opinion. Additionally, they are more of a formality and aids in the defendant understanding the purpose of the suit. When you go to court you can explain yourself in front of the judge.

3) We did not include any court filing fees. Your paperwork simply says "I also seek filing and service costs of $76.00 and pre-judgment interest of $43.01" These are the fees you paid Squabble that you are allowed to ask for reimbursement on as well as interest on the amounts owed. Those are not the court filing fees. It's a formality so the defendant knows what you are seeking and so the judge can take it into consideration in court.

4) We don't have a 100% money back guarantee in the way you describe, nor do we advertise it as you describe. On our highest level package has a guarantee if you lose your case in front of the judge,

5) The demand letter template is a MS Word compatible file. You can edit it in any program that supports .DOCX formatted files including Google Docs. Additionally, the court documents are a PDF that you can revise if you decoded to (such as editing your explanation to the court)

Lastly, you asked our case review team to file your case for you for free. This means Squabble would pay your court filing fees and your process server fees (the person who serves the defendant the court summons). Squabble is not in the business of "betting" on cases. We are not a personal injury lawyer.

You specifically asked "I was wondering if Squabble would be willing to bet on my case and accept a fee contingent on a win."
