Excellent Service, Quality Parts!

Purchased many parts for my 69 Chevelle SS396 restoration, with a few more left to get. Never had a bad experience with Ground Up!!

Hey Michael! I see you placed one order but received two different packages. That is because one item out of three was a drop ship from the manufacturer.

The first package was shipped on 3/2 and an email was sent that night. The second package was shipped on 3/3 and an email was sent that night with tracking as well. Always check your spam/junk folders, as sometimes they end up in there!

I ordered a rear bumper it was going to…

I ordered a rear bumper it was going to take to long so I called back and canceled order the manager said I didn't he listen to the calls and I have to pay the shipping he also would not let me hear the recording so he is lying they are very rude I will not purchase anything else from them
I know for a fact I canceled the order they are lying about the recording that is y they don't let you listen to it

Eric, we’re sorry for the frustration this situation caused. We reviewed the call recordings and notes related to your order and were unable to find any request to cancel prior to shipment. As outlined in our return policy, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.

That said, we want to resolve this as fairly as possible. Once the bumper is returned, we will issue a full refund including the original shipping cost. We appreciate your feedback and hope this helps bring the matter to a proper resolution.

What a rip-off! Shop elsewhere!

Ridiculously expensive for 2 power steering cables.

Semi FALSE ADVERTISING-VERY MISLEADING ADVERTISING.——They offer a “discount” if you’re a new customer but you have to spend an arm and a leg!

NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT!

Shipping was ridiculously expensive—-$25.00 for 2 (13”) rubber hoses and 2 metal attachments. The shipping costs were almost as expensive as the parts.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Jeff, the item you ordered was too large to fit in an economy sized shipping box, hence the extra cost. As far as no customer support, I do apologize you feel this way. I see that you reached out to us via email. You had emailed us Friday afternoon, and got a response from us Monday morning. So about one business day later.

FedEx was the problem

** UPDATE **

The guys at SS396 went above and beyond after hearing my issues with FedEx and made it right. Most companies have a “that’s not us, not our problem” attitude. Not these guys. I will 1000% be a return customer for this project and the next.

FedEx was the problem, not you guys. My tracking said it would be here Thursday. Perfect timing. These trim pieces were the last thing to do before my car was done for a show/cruise on Saturday. The package was then lost in GA for 3 days and didn't show up until yesterday around noon....to the wrong address. Luckily I knew the neighbors who received it and they held onto it for me. Sheesh.

This is the second time my order showed…

This is the second time my order showed up with the box all tore up and mailing tape put over the open up end of the box. It's amazing that small items make it with the size of the holes in the box. Also the packaging inside the box is very poor, the rear valence was all scratched up. This is the last time I will be using ss396 for parts for my chevelle.

Jeff, unfortunately shipping costs have risen lately. We do not make a dime on shipping. Some regions can be higher than others to ship to as well. It looks like you got it in just two days, so it's possible you selected a quicker shipping time, or that was all that was offered to your address at the time. We wish shipping was cheaper, but it is out of our hands. We do offer free shipping promotions though, so always keep an eye out for those.

Mike, that is because some of the parts you ordered are "drop shipped", so they ship from the manufacturer and can take a little longer than the in stock items from our warehouse you already received. Any questions, give us a ring!

Hey Roger, you just requested your catalog on the 16th, and today is the 26th. So it has only been 10 days. As stated on the catalog request form, catalogs can take up to 5 weeks to arrive. A shipment of catalogs just went out, so it should arrive soon! Thanks for your patience.
