A brilliant company to deal with. Their number of options for staircases is unbelievable.
Very friendly customer service and really helpful for advice.
I ordered some metal balustrades for my staircase and landing but unfortunately they were too big for my staircase. That was not a problem, ordered smaller ones and returned the originals for a full refund.

Exceptional service
Andy has been very helpful in helping me with my new staircase which looks great. We ordered extra parts (apron) which we forgot about and a mezannie.
The staircase was well packaged with no damage. The price was good and easy to order with Andy's assistance :)
I was concerned at first with them only accepting bank transfer payments but after reviewing the reviews and experiencing the exceptional service I highly recommend them!

Order placed 27th August, delivery date arrived recieved a email saying parts were not in stock and they would be in touch when item's were dispatched, we still haven't heard a thing regarding our order and will be contacting to cancel, completely unacceptable to be waiting so long without any communication. Order id- #SD,154740.
Very unhappy with this company.
There response is garbage, the order was placed as i said, they told us on the due date they didnt have the parts so another order was raised, strangely we have today had a text to say order on the way how convenient! No thanks we dont want the order now you have messed us around too much.

I ordered various stair parts including a Thirsk colonial post which stated complete. When it arrived the cap was missing. Apoerently these gave to be purchased separately which I found a bit misleading. The quality of the products is very good. To improve things please make it clear that your complete posts are not infact complete and require a cap purchased separately.
The free delivery is a plus albeit a little slow but again o am happy to endorse the quality of the products.

To clarify, the post is described as a "complete" post in reference to the post itself, rather than a post supplied with a cap, our newel posts and newel caps are sold separately. Each of our newel post product pages include links to coordinating newel caps available to suit that particular design, and we also have a dedicated newel cap section on our website.
The product photographs show the newel posts without caps, so that customers can see the post design itself, and the caps are available to purchase separately to complete the look.
We're always looking for ways to make our product descriptions and website as clear as possible, so we appreciate your feedback and will certainly take it on board.
Where our free delivery service is selected, we usually dispatch in 5-7 working days, and we use an overnight weekday carrier service. Where time is of an essence, we do have paid for options to prioritise dispatch.
We are pleased to hear that you are happy with the quality of the post itself and we would be happy to help you find a suitable cap to complete your staircase.
Poor quality
I ordered pine stair cladding from this company and was very disappointed with the quality. At least 50% of the pieces arrived with defects.
Unfortunately, due to our project timeline, our joiner had to install them rather than wait for replacements. I contacted the company and asked if they could at least send two replacement steps, but they refused. They insisted that I return the defective pieces first, which simply wasn’t practical given our schedule.
Sending a couple of replacement pieces would have been a very simple gesture, but they were unwilling to help and offered no compensation or goodwill whatsoever.
Very poor quality and disappointing customer service. I would not purchase from them again and would not recommend them.

We're sorry to see that you've left a 1 star review. We take customer concerns seriously and did our best to resolve this matter as quickly as possible.
When you contacted us regarding the damaged items, we responded promptly and communicated over the following days to understand the issue fully. We offered to arrange to collect the affected parts and replace them, however you chose to use the items. As the items were kept and used rather than returned for replacement, we were unable to agree to the request to refund the items. We further offered to collect and replace any treads not yet used, however we did not receive a reply to this offer.
We are always happy to put issues right where products arrive damaged, and we believe we offered a reasonable resolution in this instance.

Wrong Materials Ordered and Kindly Replaced
I unfortunately ordered the wrong Flat shoes for my metal spindles. Stairparts promptly agreed and delivered the required Angled shoes. Can't thank them enough for helping me through my own mistaken actions - and all free of charge too. My best to all staff who got me out of the hole of my own creating!!!!!
