Look, I get it: some of you just want to look cool, some of you genuinely use this to reduce glint in lift and death situations; and some of you need it for work to protect an expensive watch you are sick to death of leaving in a drawer or taking it off every time there is risk of scratching or damaging your time piece. I fall into the third category as a surveyor surrounded by sharp corners just itching to take a chunk out of the metal… and it does this fantastically.

Fortunately, it also had an unintended bonus. I use it with my apple watch ultra cellular where sometimes I am genuinely in the middle of nowhere but need compass directions with all my hands full. I can still see through enough to see the time and compass. After all my watch is a tool for work. Having this cover my watch in just the right way also stopped all those annoying and distracting notifications from taking away from the task at hand. When did we become slaves to our devices?

Our devices are supposed to enhance our lives, NOT control them. Buying this watch cover did everything I wanted it to and more. The extra effort or having to remove the velcro cover meant that WhatsApp and iMessages could all of a sudden wait. It just gave me what I needed… the actual reason I bought the watch in the first place. It took my watch, protected it and then it took me and helped me build a healthier relationship with my ‘tool’.

It is well made, zero glint, protection all around and comfy. Plus you get that little fizz in your belly every time you see the Union Jack on the strap.

when I saw them on Instagram I thought it would be another gimmicky micro brand and im glad I was wrong, these watches are made by guys who really care about watches, I always get compliments on my sterling Timepieces. also the customer service is also top notch.

Looks fantastic… Sadly the watch wouldn’t stay on my wrist on the first outing on a normal light day. I purchased for heavy use as I feel it was advertised but this will sit in a drawer and probably I’ll stick with a g-shock. This is likely just faulty watch pin but a product like this is about confidence in its robustness, of which I no longer have. Customer service was efficient and polite and sent replacement pins so I’ll see how they go but won’t use the watch for anything more than a trip to the shops. I wish to return the product within the first 30 days however this was refused of which I’m pretty sure is against trading law in the uk, but who knows. A good looking watch that will gather dust for me, might be worth me buying heavy duty pins and sticking on the nato but I’m not a massive fan of nato straps…likely an anomaly but I can only report my own experience.

I’m really impressed with the quality of the watch it looks amazing. The Stirling team was also fantastic: very helpful and incredibly fast.

As someone new to the world of mechanical watches, I feel like I couldn’t of picked a better first watch!

Ordering was easy. Website was clear about the product and the mission of the company. Communication was good. Product arrived on the day it was anticipated. My son was able to open in for Christmas morning before he shipped out and he loves it!

I searched for the right analog watch that was functional, dependable and durable because I was tired of the need to charge my Apple Watch and knowing it was always collecting data of some kind. I finally decided on the Durrant GMT Black. It met all of my wants and needs, it’s a beautiful piece, collects no data, needs no charging, and it reflected my career in Special Forces and my other work overseas. It’s a legacy piece. I can attest to its durability as I was recently involved in a nasty crash with multiple rollovers. I was not belted in so my body was flying all over the inside of my side-by-side. Fortunately I only suffered abrasions, a few lacerations, and a hit to my pride. My Durrant GMT Black had zero scratches, dings, dents, etc. and is still right on time. I am looking forward to purchasing another Stirling piece and definitely a few more for family. Thank you to all those at Stirling for making a reliable and “bombproof” watch.

My recent purchase of the brute was excellent. Watch feels solid came crazy fast and even the packaging was excellent. I love this watch and would highly recommend.

From ordering the timepiece to receiving it, I was kept up to speed where my bespoke watch was.
On having the watch it surpassed my expectations, with the build quality being outstanding, also the weight and feel on my wrist being very natural as well as looking fantastic 👍🏻

Their warranty is a joke. And they use proprietary parts so even for minor repairs you're forced to use them and pay their prices and send it to them which with shipping will probably take month. Apparently it's not even made in the UK it's assembled in China

Great watch. I have the Durrant Black. Wish it had a bit of lume at the 12 o’clock equal brightness to what it has on the dial. That would give the bezel utility in lowlight.

I had a watch created and Lee was fantastic he was keeping me updated the whole way and helping me decide and showed me designs of what I had in mind. I then revived the watch and it is in magnificent condition and everyone else who ordered one has also said the same thing.

I ordered the polar dial Upham as I really like the look of it. The shipping was very fast, the packaging was well done. As a watch collector I knew the price was a little high for the movement that was in it, but I wanted to support the Veteran owned brand that is fairly new and growing, which also donates to military and PTSD charities which hits close to home. The watch is very well done and I'm glad I ordered it and it gets a lot of wrist time. I would definitely recommend to anyone considering.

Ordered the Durrant for my son week before Chistmas, it arrived Chistmas Eve, ordered the steel bracelet the next week, and still awaiting the arrival.

He loves it.
