We purchased a TV online. When we plugged it in it was cracked on the inside, the outer screen is perfect, not a scratch or anything on it. We did not damage the TV and I think it was a packaging or delivery issue. Sony were quite rude and blamed me saying it is "consistent of being a physical damage in nature"
After reading so many reviews the same it is clear Sony is selling cheap faulty garbage. So please do not waste your money.

Our $2,500 TV was delivered with a broken screen that could not be seen until we completely unpacked the box and removed the cardboard sheet covering the screen. After 2 weeks of chasing them up and after initially being told they would replace it have now said they will not. Their reason being that the damage to the screen was not consistent with the condition of the box. After being a loyal Sony customer for over 20 years, this horrible customer service experience has ensured I will never buy another Sony product again. Beware!
A nostalgic brand I would say
A nostalgic brand I would say. I used to love their walkmans and headphones. I think back when I was a teen I also had one of their cellphones with a walkman feature too. It was brilliant technology back then. They are still making great devices. Overall, a solid brand.

Comprato TV Oled KD-55A8 nel 2020 (2000€) a Verona. Dopo tre anni (in cui è stato usato molto poco) non funziona più; l'assistenza ufficiale Sony mi dice che è rotta la scheda madre (mainboard). Il pezzo di ricambio costa più di 600€ (300€ se mai si trovasse usato), poi c'è la manodopera. Tempi di attesa non precisati, ma si parla di almeno un mese e mezzo. Oltre il danno, la beffa: il centro assistenza, saputo che non intendo ripararlo, mi offre 50 € (chissà a quanto ammonta quanto potrebbero ricavare vendendo tutti i pezzi del mio televisore !!!). Ovviamente, non avendo subito urti, anomalie elettriche e visto il ridotto utilizzo, il problema è la scheda madre originaria; a Sony (da me contattata) non interessa, è un problema mio. Legalmente ineccepibile (la garanzia è ovviamente scaduta): resta l'amaro in bocca, da cliente Sony, per essere "ostaggio" dei prezzi folli dei ricambi. Poco male: butterò via il televisore, non comprerò mai più nulla di Sony, sconsiglierò a chiunque di farlo. Un'ultima chiosa: costringere di fatto (visti i prezzi dei ricambi) i clienti a buttare in discarica un televisore nuovo, come si concilia con l'immagine di azienda attenta all'ambiente che Sony si sforza di esibire?
SONY OLED TV mit falschen Standby Angaben
SONY verkauft OLED TV's mit der Angabe dass diese im Standby weniger als 0,5W verbrauchen.
Ich kann nur jedem raten der einen SONY OLED TV hat ein Strommessgerät dran zu hängen und sich den Standby Stromverbrauch zeigen zu lassen.
Bei allen mir bekannten Geräten ist der StandBy verbrauch zwischen 27 und 32 Watt rund um die Uhr bei ausgeschaltetem Gerät (da läuft kein Pixel Refreshing 24 Std.) was bei den aktuellen Strompreisen 100€ nur an jährlichen StandBy kosten verursacht.
Fragt man Google nach erhöhtem Standby bei SONY OLED TV gibt es bereits seit 2018 viele Einträge im SONY Forum.
Der SONY Support reagiert arrogant und anstatt die Problematik zu verifizieren wird der Kunde als Lügner hingestellt.
Selbst mein Händler (Expert) hat diese Standby Verbrauch bei seinen Vorführgeräten gemessen und hat anstandslos das Gerät gegen einen OLED TV eines anderen Herstellers getauscht!
I purchased my first Sony TV
I purchased my first Sony TV. Bravia 65 Inch. Didn't last 6 months. Warranty service has been playing me for 3 weeks and counting. Every 3 days I send pictures, then 3 days later another response from Sony asking for the same ones. The number given to call is not Sony but a call center with no answers or abilities to give a contact to actually communicate with Sony. After 3 weeks I tell the call center I have proof Sony received the pictures, and within 2min the agent confirms it. Going on week 4 now with the call center telling me that I'm going to be contacted by Sony, and surprise. Nothing. I've seeing horrible reviews about Sony Bravia 65inch tvs. Will never purchase another Sony TV again, and will be sure to let all friends and family know about this ongoing experience with Sony Warranty service.

SONY a1 DISASTER.
Over the past year I have been asked approximately 15-20 times of my opinion on the Sony mirrorless. Unfortunately, I have provided my candid response to each potential new Sony purchaser.... "Switching from Canon to Sony is the biggest mistake of my photography career." Hopefully, if Sony eventually replaces my faulty a1 I can have some faith restored in their products.
Purchased a Sony a1 in Canada thru a Sony authorized dealer approximately 18 months ago. Within the 1yr warranty period the camera kept failing... usually at the most critical times. Complete blackout and not functioning at all were the common errors. Other times, f00 appeared indicating no lens attached. This continues repeatedly even after two visit to, Gentec International, the only Sony warranty service company in Ontario Canada.
They were unable to duplicate or rectify the issues, Problems continued and due to my ongoing photography schedule of up to 3 events per week, I purchased a second Sony a1, as I am unfortunately heavily invested in the new and latest Sony lenses. I have reached out to Sony but no response.
I will continue to post this and similar reviews wherever possible until my now out of warranty Sony a1 camera is switched for one that is new and reliable.

Keine Ersatzteile und Kulanz von SONY!!
TV ging nach rund 6 Wochen nach Ablauf der Garantie kaputt. Musste das Gerät gem. SONY zu einem vorgeschriebenen Service-Center einschicken. Danach die Antwort: für dieses Gerät (Modell 2021) gibt es leider keine Ersatzteile mehr und kann somit nicht repariert werden. Zum einen kann ich es einfach nicht verstehen, dass es für ein 2 Jahre altes Gerät (Preis über 2000 CHF), bereits keine Ersatzteile mehr gibt. Zum anderen hätte ich von SONY einen Vorschlag mit evtl. einem Preisnachlass etc. auf den Kauf eines neuen Geräts erwartet. Leider kam von Seite SONY gar nichts. War somit definitiv mein letzter SONY TV!!

I bought a Sony gift code for Playstation and before I used it, within a day, the card was drained of its balance. Sony said they can do nothing, that its my problem. Ridiculous because nobody had access to the code. I'm no longer buying any Sony products. It's sad because I used to think of them as a quality product provider. My family has had $5,000 TVs and expensive laptops in the past from them. Their customer support is no good though.

I had to send a pair of headphones (WF1000XM3 model) for replacement as they were not functional when I bought them. I had the warranty (for a year) but still had to pay for shipment to get a replacement. This was in June. Then I emailed Sony in August as I still had not had any news about the shipment of my replacement pair. I received an answer at on 03-08-2023 saying they had some issues, but I would get the new pair within 7-10 days. In September, I had to contact them again (many emails, calling (wasting my time for hours on the phone, and re-explaining the situation again and again). They told me that they would make sure to follow up on this and get back to me. Still in October, I had no news and not received the replacement pair. I had to get an other new pair of headphones as I needed a pair and couldn't wait for the replacement. I have been sending multiple emails to their service, spoke on the phone with costumer service 3x and even today, they told me the new pair had not been shipped yet, and they need to look into my files to understand what is happening. I asked for any compensation or even just to give me a credit so that I could buy a new pair and complete this process, and they refused. This is unacceptable service, I have wasted time, energy and most importantly, I have still not received anything. I would never recommend buying from Sony as I have never experienced such an unqualified and unacceptable service. All I am asking is to be done with this and never have to deal with them again and they still are refusing to help me. Basically stealing my money my time and my energy.

Pathetic customer service, takes 5 days to get a response and by then the price match offer is over. All part of their game, but probably a blessing as would hate to see their aftersales support.

IL 31/10/2023 mi hanno consegnato il TV Bravia KD-50X75WL. Una volta installato presentava sullo schermo ampie strisce grigie, sulla sinistra. Imballato e chiesto il reso alla Unieuro che me lo aveva venduto.
Non è vero che può capitare, perché l'azienda deve testare ogni prodotto che esce dalla fabbrica. Deluso perché il marchio "rappresentava" una garanzia.

Hovedminnet er helt ute av stand, noe av det mest grunnleggende man skal forvente i en mobiltelefon. Glem å multitaske, det er umulig ettersom minnehåndteringen i telefonen ikke fungerer slik som det skal. Vær forberedt på å miste timesvis med arbeid gjennom enhver applikasjon du måtte ha aktiv i mobilen din. Har også opplevd gjevnlige overopphetinger, til og med høyfrekvent skjerm av. I sommeren med daglig bruk kan man forvente hyppige ganger at skjermens oppfriskningsrate reduseres betydelig, til og med 60hz skjerm, som er standarden. Kompasset er fullstendig ubrukelig. Posisjonen blir vist, men ikke retning. Prøvde å kalibrere kompasset manuelt med kroppen, til ingen nytte. Det har nå pågått et år med operativsystem-oppdateringer for mobilen min, og alle nevnte problemene er fortsatt der. Er svært skuffet over Sony. Kan desverre ikke anbefale produktet.

"Bluetooth second device connected" "bluetooth connected" "poweroff" "poweron" so stupidly loud notifications by so stupid developers. Why not just make the volume of notifications controllable or same as the one set on a device the headphones are connected. It would be safe to assume that this is some type of grand scheme to defean people by these stupid companies.

I used to have a gopro, and in the beginning they were great. But at some point the quality became poor and I needed to look elsewhere and surprisingly enough Sony was the one.
I decided to buy a Sony FDR-X3000 and the quality of video is way better. I am totally satisfied.
