Not updated frequently enough, other alternatives offer better help for cheaper
I've used AloisNL summoner school for a while and for the pricepoint it's quite disappointing compared to what other educational league content provides for a lesser price.
The videos are made by content creators who are challenger, which shows in the extremely varying video quality and overall educational value of a video.
Many of the videos are "you do this this and this" but they never take in to account that this is not high master elo and our opponents never do that and that we don't have the mechanical skill or foresight to do anything they do. So there is a disconnect where they aren't able to properly convey the knowledge in terms that is useful to us. Imagine a teacher who is good at their field, but not good at teaching others pragmatically.
They say you get access for life which is good, but given how rarely these videos are updated and how incredibly slow if anything is to be fixed (if at all) is not a good sign for someone wanting to push a toplane academy service. It seems to me they bit of more than they could chew and don't really know what they are doing, given the age range of the ones involved too.
I got the Sett and Mordekaiser guides primarily for access to the matchup spreadsheet, which for me was infinitely more useful than the matchup videos.
