I was looking to upgrade my e-bike and went to Surge Bikes to see what was available. The guidance and professional service I received, made me by my Haibike from them. I would certainly recommend to anyone looking for an e-bike, to visit their shop.

I recently purchased an Orbea Gain M30i bike from Matt at Surge Bikes. His advice and calm professional manner in advising me about the various versions of the bike was exemplary, and it ensured I made the right choice for my needs. His advice regarding the new colour scheme was also spot on! The Red Wine carbon is beautiful.
I had to call the service team twice after receipt of the bike, only for advice, as it has Di2 components I had not used before and is also an E-bike, which is new to me. On both occasions, the service team were just as professional and helpful as Matt was in sales. They are very knowledgable and always happy to sit and chat through any concerns, offering decent well thought out advice to their customers. I doubt my wife will allow me to be in the market for another bike for a while (and I'll never part with my Orbea anyway) but if I were ever to be looking to buy another bike, I will only ever use Surge Bikes now. Exemplary team, exemplary service.

I had done a lot of research prior to visiting but was given a whole lot of fantastic advice when I visited the store. I was able to try several frames to make sure the size of my orbea e gravel bike was just right. I purchased through my company l cycle to work scheme and they did a great job of keeping me up to date with the progress of my order. On collection day I had a great experience where they took the time to explain the bike and check that the set up was correct. I have ridden the bike several times now and I am a total e-bike convert.

Fantastic products and service. Matt made sure we had the right bike and accessories for the use we had in mind. Was also very patient when there was a delay with the cycle to work scheme at my company's end. Delivery was great too. Would happily use again.

After a lot of careful consideration I decided on an e-bike I had seen on the Surge Bike website.I rang for advice and Matt and his team could not have been more helpful,and no pressure to buy.Taking their advice into account I purchased another bike from them and after a few trips out can now see their advice was the right advice.Definitely a good genuine company, good advice and good value.

Professional and friendly, provided an excellent service. Most helpful, couldn't believe how quickly they responded to emails even out of working hours. The bike was delivered earlier than expected, came paletted and well protected. So easy to secure the handle bar and pedals following the detailed instructions provided. Battery fully charged and worked first time. Can't recommend them highly enough, extremely good value and service for the price.

This bike shop is a real find; great staff, really helpful and knowledgeable, and nothing is a problem. On top of that I got a fantastic deal on an electric bike.

Excellent customer service from start to finish. After registering on the website with the bike and extras that I hoped to purchase, Surge Bikes came back to me with a series of questions and suggestions that really helped me identify the best package possible for the bike and our needs. The prices were good and we were also pleased to use the Green Initiative through our work to make the purchase. The bike was delivered quickly and the delivery person walked through using the bike and the added extras. It has been an excellent bike and we are so happy with the personalised package we ended up with thanks to the care offered by Surge Bikes.

Drove from the West Country to try Orbea Gain at Surge, who had arranged demo bikes to confirm sizing. The guys at Surge were happy to give advice, being friendly and helpful. Made a purchase of a Gain which was prepped for me to take away.

Good sale price on a Mondraker Prime X with the opportunity for a test ride first. On collection the front fork was tuned for my weight. Overall experience was great.

Decided to pop over to view the bike, after making the purchase the bike was promptly pdi checked before I took it away with me. Great price, Great advice 👍

First time I have used you guys…..the experience was perfect. Bike came well packaged and team were happy to help with any queries I had. It’s not seen much use yet due to weather but bike feels solid and fast on the short trips we have done, thanks!

Surge Bikes provided an excellent streamlined process from enquiry through to purchase.

Ways to be even better:
Provide Bosch Diagnostic Report [regardless of it being the first].
Better awareness of what bike covers fit certain bikes [with accessories] so as to better advise customers.
Provide ETA when out for delivery [this was the only thing that was less than 5 stars as the delivery was quite late and no communication was provided to notify us of this].

After sales has been very very good - taking calls, offering advice and promptly booking service.

Highly recommend the team at Surge Bikes and looking forward to more great experiences in future.

Surge Bikes are fantastic. Matt made me a great coffee whilst we spoke about bikes and my needs. It's a lovely showroom and a welcoming environment. The whole team are very positive in answering any questions and they'll let you test a bike in their parking area outside. It's a real high end experience and I would highly recommend them.
