Suzuki make fantastic no nonsense cars. Never had any problem with them. Servicing has been straightforward.

Nightmare at Pebley beach Cirencester, don't trust these guys
I took my Swift to change the gear linkage and put some brackets, they charged me, they never even attempted to change the brackets of the bumpers. They said they couldn't do it however I went back home and put them in without any problem, they just needed to care but they didn't. The gear linkage started to give problems after a couple of weeks, the 5th gear was popping out by itself, I came back, they checked my car and said everything was fine, they left me without two gears. I did 4 hours in 4th gear trying to go back home as it was already late and they didn't answer the phone. a month after, I still don't receive any apology, any acknowledgement of the situation, and my car still doesn't work. They left me without car, impacting my job, but they don't give a single f about that. Don't go with these guys. This Chris guy completely ignored my emails and phone calls, so sad, one more place where you cannot trust the mechanic, imagine the fact that they sent me on the motorway with a car without two gears putting my life in danger and yet, no care or apology.
I tried to contact Suzuki UK, same, no acknowledgement, no care
Suzuki - Bedford. Poor Service.
Suzuki, Clapham, Bedford.
Very poor customer service. Have purchased 2 new cars from them over recent years and had some problems in the past.
Phoned up with a current issue and was told he would ring back. Guess what??? - you've got it he never did.
Phoned again and was told they can't do the by another service person.
Reading some other reviews I am not alone - AVOID.

Paint peeling off less than 1 year old
Paint peeling off less than 1 year old, tried to speak to warranty team but they aren’t customer facing. Very poor service. Then, they use GDPR as an excuse to not speak with me.
Suzuki dealer
I had other Suzuki cars before and knew the family that owned the garage in Cheltenham.
They built their garage on good customer service and return for the customers. Although the dealership has changed ownership now, the customer service has not changed.
One thing I was disappointed about that there was no flowers 🌷 in my new car when I collected it. This gift from the garage was a great courtesy. Well remembered. I had two Grand Vitara’s before.
Avoid Vitara's and Poor After Sales.
Worst after sales I've had from Suzuki / Sherwoods.
Clutch went on 18 month old Vitara with 16000 mile on with no warning signs and despite clutches showing on basic warranty and parts being guaranteed for 60000 mille I've had to pay out almost £1000.
Never had a clutch issue on any car I've had but warranty was refused on this, shocking really.
Their dealership Sherwoods were just a bad with poor communcation and refusal to support. After Sales Director Paul Shields' customer service was appalling and very heavy handed.

Suzuki gives out franchises to con artists.
I bought a motorbike from a Suzuki dealership called road and racing in Hyde.
The motorbike that was given to me brand knew is full of electric faults. 4 times my motorbike has broke down and only done 3000 miles. The warranty that came with bike has been swept under the carpet and been told I can't use my warranty even tho I have another year left on my warranty. Suzuki refuse to help because the motorbike is not a Suzuki, but I bought a bike from a Suzuki dealer. Bad customer service. I've basically lost £4500 because I bought a motorbike from a Suzuki dealership. Basically avoid a Suzuki dealership from now on . The finance company won't help, the Suzuki dealership basically laughed on the phone .
Don't buy a Vitara
After owning a 2019 vitara for 2 years I decided to swap to a new one as I wanted to try cutting fuel use etc.
So I have an issue with the media system ( a known issue by suzuki) that causes the media system to keep going off. No big issue u think? However the fault is causing problems where all sorts of warnings flash up and the car puts itself into limp mode !!! Very dangerous when traveling on a fast moving road.. I have now been back to Newmans Suzuki Totton 3 times to have it sorted and they still havnt sorted it they admit it needs a new media system but everytime I take it in (booked in for the repair) they say they can't do it...
I initially intended to keep it 3 years then look at an S-Cross.. that won't be happening..
Suzuki Insurance useless company
Suzuki Insurance, very poor service, despite being covered for damaged windscreen they passed us onto autowindscreens who took £110 excess but a week later we are still being told 3-5 days, local suzuki garage said they can get new screen in 1 day?? Tried calling suzuki who advised they don't have a complaint department Tel number and gave me an email address but that company said we are not with them?? Now having to send complaint in writing. Shocking try and make a claim and they send you in circles
My Jimny which is only 2 years old…
My Jimny which is only 2 years old backdoor strut fell off, the bolt had worn off , it's an obvious design fault and Suzuki consider it a worn element so not under warranty. I open and close the drivers door the same number of times as the back door, my drivers door doesn't fall off but the rear door does . Suzuki don't want to know when they get it wrong.
Fantastic cars
Fantastic cars. I have owned 5 Suzuki's over the past 15 years, no breakdowns or faults requiring garage intervention. I did own a VW, Mercedes and BMW during this time and a long list of suspension and emissions faults, not to mention timing chains...
Very simple, reliable cars. My 19 year old Ignis has been pretty much perfect and my 2 year old Vitara is lovely to own.
Repairs at Suzuki Portsmouth
I purchase a Suzuki swift from Richmond at Portsmouth there sounded like something was loose under the front I spoke with Taylor on reception and she arranged for the car to be checked, where they found something slack and retighten it, she kept me informed on progress and when I could collect my car.
UK manufactured Suzuki Swace brilliant.
We have the Suzuki Swace, most comfortable reliable car I have owned. It is a hybrid, 65mpg and its made in the UK, not many owners can bragg about that. Service from our local Suzuki dealer in Clapham Bedfordshire has been superb. Get one quick as it is being discontinued this year.
After service is non existent
Bought a new Suzuki Vitara in 2022 from Huddersfield as our local branch in Bradford said we would have to wait 6 to 9 month for a new one so would be better getting a used one, Huddersfield got us one on same day as we phoned them which was fantastic. Aftercare is another matter, when we have had services we asked if they could update our sat nav as we were having trouble with it but was told they didn't have the up to date software but would ring us when they did and have never phoned. We asked if they could give the car a full valet which they booked us in for, they had the car all day but when we went to collect they said they had not had time so would have to book it back in for a later date. We also asked to buy a matching paint touch up pen, we didn't need it at the time so remained unopened but this month we got a chip on the bumper so used the pen and did not match the colour what so ever. We rang the Bradford branch to ask for advice and they would not talk to us about it as we had bought it from theHuddersfield branch and not there which is quite ridiculous as they are all linked to Suzuki, Huddersfield branch said it was the wrong colour as the serial number was wrong even though they sold us it and they could not find a match for our car, they would contact head office and get back to us which they never did, after several calls to them we asked for the head office number so we could ring them, the number the service guy gave us was for reporting an accident. We looked for the head office number ourselves and when we got through they said it was the wrong match but then changed there mind and said it was correct but we said it did not match so she said they our car may have faded so that is why the pen didn't match. Would not buy from Suzuki again as they just want to sell you a car and don't care about the after service.
We bought a new Vitara
In August 2021 my wife and I bought a brand new Suzuki Vitara from an established Suzuki dealership. The car is equipped, as standard with a number of systems that give us information and warnings. It tells us that in places the speed limit is 120 M.P.H, or we are in danger of running into something when there is nothing to run into. It also tells us that we are in a no overtaking zone when we are not. The oil warning light comes on when there is no problem with the oil system and we are informed that the cruise control system has a problem when it is not even switched on. It also tells us that there is a problem with the four wheel drive although that system has not been selected.

As a Motability customer
As a Motability customer, I was impressed by the smooth transfer from my previous vehicle to my present Suzuki Swace in December 2023. The car was fine until May of this year, when it developed a hybrid malfunction. This soon degenerated into malfunctions in various other electronic departments, e.g. power steering, hybrid braking, emergency braking and traction control. Effectively, it was risky to drive, so the RAC rescued it and took it to Henry's on 29 May. It is now June 21, and they believe the problem was caused by the installation of an adaptation. Is it really believable that it should take such a long time to come to this conclusion, and more importantly, rectify it? I appreciate that I am not their only customer, but if this is the level of service they offer to everyone, it's not beyond the bounds of possibility that being their customer will mean being in a lonely minority. This could have the effect of speeding things up, but don't hold your breath.
The lack of updates concerning progress is more than a little offputting. Every update I have had has been initiated by me, and it is pardonable to wonder how important genuine customer service is from the service department. At the time of writing, I am still without my car and I am facing the prospect of at least another three or four days before the car is ready to be returned. It is true that I have been furnished with a courtesy car by Proximo, but although adequate, it is a long way short of what I would prefer. (Proximo provide courtesy cars with adaptations for Motability customers, only 8% of which have the adaptations I require, so since the adaptation is the important thing, I had to take what was available. This is no reflection on Proximo.)
The obvious question is: Is this level of service acceptable? When I actually visited the dealership a couple of weeks ago, I was told that only three hours had been spent on my car and they still didn't know what the problem was, but they suspected it might be the adaptation. They told me they didn't know who had made the installation, which seemed strange since the only installation company used by Motability in this area is AIC, and they had done the work at Henry's premises. Apparently the installer had to be present for the de-installation, and will have to carry out the re-installation, thus spreading responsibility for delay. Is there joined up thinking and coordination?
The saga continues…
trickier work not so good
spent 288 on finding a fault on x cross to be told they still do not know what fault is
Wast of Money 😪🥲👎
The Scooty has done a lot of work in just one year. The quality of the Scooty battery was very poor. And you have to wait fifteen days for the battery. The car always gives the problem of the race. I think maybe I made a mistake Purchase The Scooty.
