Have multiple gift cards from work with a few cent left on all of them as they can only be used online. I wish the balance could be transferred to bank/revolut or onto another card.

Absolutely awful
Absolutely awful.
Most online transactions don't work due to issues with text authentication not sending.
Often refused in Stores.
Customer Service not helpful. They say it's been escalated. Never hear back.

If I could give the card 0 stars I…
If I could give the card 0 stars I would. My son was gifted a swirl pre paid card and it can not be used online or in shops. Waste if money. We have tried multiple ways over a long period of time to sort it. Nothing has worked.

Unable to use it on holidays, very disappointing
Very disappointing when trying to use this card. I am on holidays in Lanzarote and so far it has not been accepted in any shop that I have tried ( have tried large retail shops)and also unable to pay for accommodation with it. It requests a PIN every time it is swiped. It was a gift from Employer and has been disappointing and embarrassing when it is not accepted. I would recommend employers use another type of gift card.

Swirl cards are Mastercard prepaid cards and can be used worldwide wherever Mastercard is accepted. However, it is ultimately up to individual merchants to accept prepaid cards, and some merchants—especially outside of Ireland—may request a PIN code when processing a transaction. This can vary depending on their payment systems.

So simple to use
I was unsure how to use it as it had no pin like a regular credit card so I tested it out on a small purchase. I just swiped and it worked perfect. I then used it in Spain to make a large purchase and again no issue. It worked perfectly. So easy and convenient to use.

Really like how simple it is to use
Really like how simple it is to use. Just register on the app and spend in a shop like you would use your ordinary card. Seemed easy for the retailer also as had that panic at the till of would this work but thankfully all went through fine.

The CARD was accepted in most hospitality businesses where I purchase goods & services. Some businesses unfamiliar with CARD & "Not Accepted"! Unusual for most business to SWIPE Cards now rather than enter PIN!

Easy to use cards and taken nearly everywhere. Some places look at them as they may not have heard of them, but then they swipe through and it’s all good. I did have problems using them online, they didn’t always work. Still much better than 1 for all.
