Met Troy at the golf Club.. he is professional and very patient. He allowed me to take my time and gave me feedback back even was first time at golf range. Was a very pleasant experience.

I’ve recently downloaded the app to start my baseball coaching career. Teach me.To has really helped me get into the coaching seen. I’ve now done multiple lessons as a coach and they have connected me with me with multiple students. I am looking forward to using the app and continuing my career.

Bad customer experience

I was charged monthly although I never got a chance to book any classes. There was no warning for renewal. I just happened to catch the charge pending on my card on the renewal day and reached out immediately and asked to please not renewed and to cancel my subscription. I explained I haven’t booked any classes in the last month and and that we are now financially stressed and I wouldn’t want to be charged again for a service I’m not using at the moment, but they allowed the renewal process went through anyway and only made cancelation after they charged me, telling me I can still use it as credit as a “good thing.”
Their website is also not very intuitive and overall user experience is pretty bad for a customer and support. There’s no way to cancel the subscription online unless you reach out to them. That wasn’t clear either. The app is just a comm and scheduling tool. Their support lady Hanna said they understand my situation but basically can’t do anything about it other than to help me book a lesson. It really was not a great customer experience. I don’t even write reviews anywhere or for anything but for the first time, I was truly disappointed.

We want to gently clarify that because we did not receive a cancellation request before your billing date, the system kept your subscription active and processed the renewal. We also want to clarify that you absolutely can pause or cancel your subscription directly within our mobile app at any time, though we sincerely apologize if the app layout made those features difficult to find!

After only one month rate increased 33% without approval

After only one month, lesson rate changed from about $75 per lesson to $100 per lesson through a simple email without requesting consent or approval.

My monthly auto renewal bill increased by 33%.
When I noticed the charge on the day of the renewal, I immediately canceled the subscription and asked for a refund. Customer Service refused refund or return to advertised and pre-agreed $75/lesson rate. BEWARE.

Hi Francois. We completely understand why seeing a sudden increase on your monthly bill is so frustrating, and we sincerely apologize for the stress this caused. Because our coaches operate independently, they control their own pricing and occasionally adjust their rates. When this happens, our system automatically sends an email notice well in advance, so students have time to approve, pause, or cancel. Since we didn't receive a cancellation request before your billing date, the system processed the renewal automatically.

That being said, we deeply value your experience as a student and want to make sure you feel treated fairly. Our leadership team has just reached out to you directly to offer a fair resolution. Please reply to our message as soon as you can so we can get this sorted out for you ASAP!

Buyer protection, local coaches, and real reviews. 5 Stars!

I used TeachMe.To to book my very first golf lesson and the whole experience was fantastic. Being a beginner, I loved that I could read through instructor reviews and filter for someone right near my house. Knowing they have buyer protection gave me the peace of mind to finally just go for it! I ended up choosing Jeshua, and he was incredible. By the end of our first lesson, I was already seeing the ball travel noticeably further. Highly recommend this platform!

I am a little disappointed in the numbers of new students to me. Wondering if I can put up the link to my site on Facebook. I see you advertising could it be geographical. I would love to discuss with whomever does the marketing better ways for me to get myself in front of more people

I used these guys as a golf coach

I used these guys as a golf coach
I gave approx 10 lessons and unfortunately didn’t verify my payouts
Turns out they only paid me for only 1 lesson and owe me approx $500. I’m attempting to claim money owed but it’s not looking good. I’d say stay far away from these guys. I’ll edit this if they pay.

Our skills are leveling up!

We have been using this platform to level up our pickleball skills and we’re doing great with Siva. He is amazing, an excellent coach and player. We were looking on how to advance on the sport and we found this and we’re glad we decided to try! I can say we are on our way to reaching our goals. The app is so easy to use, you get 100 % assistance from the support team and you’re chosen coach is ready to be with you while honing your skills! Highly recommended if you love pickleball!

I would not recommend TeachMe.To. My first three lessons were great, but after that my coach completely stopped responding and effectively ghosted me. Between those lessons I was due to be charged for a second package, but I paused it because it was already very difficult to schedule time with the coach. I still wanted to continue, but didn’t want to accumulate more lessons when I couldn’t even book the ones I had.

After the coach stopped responding, I asked for a refund on my subscription since the main reason I signed up was because I liked working with that coach. The company refused and instead offered to assign me a different coach. I had already explained that scheduling was a problem because coaches often take days to respond. Unfortunately, the same issue happened again. TeachMe got back to me the day before the date I had requested because they were waiting to hear from the coach for several days. By then I had already made other plans.

I was then charged for a second package. I now have two packages left (EIGHT lessons) and asked if I could at least receive a refund for one package, as I would rather eat the cost than continue dealing with the company. They refused that as well.

This isn’t a case of simply changing my mind. My coach stopped responding entirely despite multiple attempts to schedule the next lesson. Based on my experience, I would 100% avoid this company.

Hi Helen. I want to personally apologize for the frustration you’ve experienced. Having a great connection with a coach only for them to stop responding is incredibly disappointing, and I completely understand why the subsequent scheduling delays left a bad taste in your mouth. That is not the standard we strive for.

I do want to provide some clarity regarding your account and where things currently stand. As we discussed, we have successfully processed a refund for the remaining lessons on your initial subscription charge.

Regarding the renewal charge, I see that your subscription was placed on a one-month pause rather than being fully canceled. When that pause period ended, the system automatically processed the renewal charge. Because our policy states that processed renewal charges are non-refundable when an issue is reported beyond the 24-hour window, we are unable to refund this.

That being said, I do not want those remaining lessons to go to waste. You still have several options to get value out of them:
1. Try a different skill or coach: You are not locked into the same sport or the same coaches you've tried so far.
2. Share them: You can easily transfer these lessons to friends or family members if you'd prefer not to use them yourself.
3. Take your time: Your lessons are valid for a full 12 months, and if you need more time, just let me know, and I would be happy to extend the expiration date for you.

I am so sorry again that your initial experience wasn't what it should have been. Please let me know if you’d like help transferring your lessons to a friend or finding a totally different coach to work with.
