Great app for connect with customers my…

Great app for connect with customers my only suggestion is sometimes students or situations after booking changed more than twice I am not able to modify until the student confirm and if the student need another change we always have to use customer service so that is the only odd situation but other than have lesson progressions and stay connected with students it is great app

Avoid at any cost

I got ripped off- they charge a credit card that I cannot delete from file , they don’t have a button to cancel the subscriptions as they should and theirs instructors provide poor instructions . You pay for 60 min and you get 20 min at tops of instructions . Avoid at any cost .

First, regarding your lesson: if you paid for a 60-minute session, you absolutely should be receiving a full 60 minutes of dedicated instruction. Getting only 20 minutes is completely unacceptable and not the standard we set for our coaches. I want to look into this specific instructor immediately.

I also hear your frustration regarding the billing interface. We do have processes in place to cancel subscriptions and manage payment methods directly through your account settings, but I sincerely apologize if these features were difficult to locate or glitched for you. We want this to be a seamless experience, not a trap.

Misleading “Free Lesson” Offer and Unauthorized $420 Charge

The company’s response is misleading.

I do have screenshots clearly showing that they confirmed there would be one free class and that the package could be canceled within 24 hours for a full refund. Trustpilot unfortunately does not allow attachments, otherwise I would have posted the screenshots there as well. I will be using them for other complaints.

Their replies appear to be automated and avoid addressing the actual issue. I anticipated that this might happen, so I made sure to document the conversation. In the messages, they specifically told me to use the checkout link and not to worry because I could easily cancel after the free class.

Now they are denying what was clearly communicated in writing and charging $420. Based on my experience, the process feels designed in a misleading way that results in unexpected charges.

I will continue to pursue this through other platforms and formal complaints so others are aware.

Awful customer experience. I strongly advise others to be cautious.

I signed up after seeing that the first golf lesson was advertised as free. I booked a lesson, but the instructor canceled due to personal reasons. After that, I was unable to reach the instructor directly, so I contacted TeachMe.to and they canceled the class.

Later, the instructor reached out again and, through TeachMe.to, we rescheduled the free lesson. Before confirming, I specifically asked and was told that I would be able to cancel after the free class. They clearly confirmed this.

However, after the lesson, they denied what was previously confirmed and charged me $420. When I contacted customer service, I received conflicting responses and no clear resolution.

This feels misleading and deceptive. The “free class” offer did not work as represented.

I will also be filing a complaint with the Consumer Protection division of the Office of the Attorney General regarding this charge.

Proceed with caution.

I completely understand why seeing a $420 charge you didn't feel prepared for would be highly upsetting, and I want to personally help make this right.

I do want to clarify what happened on our end to cause this. We do our best to be completely transparent on our website about how the free lesson and subscription plans work. While reviewing your account, I can see that the $420 subscription plan was actively selected, booked, and paid for on your end during the checkout process.

We never want a student to feel misled or stuck with a charge they didn't intend to keep. Even though the subscription was authorized at checkout, we are more than happy to resolve this matter for you immediately.

Problems with refund

I liked my coach very much. He was awesome in his teaching methods. My complaint is with the business end. I was taking one class every week, with a one week break and before the month was up I got charged for another month because I accepted a free trial lesson. Read the fine print. Although it says you can cancel anytime, that only means you can cancel before the 28/days are up. They say you can use it within a years time, but that’s not good enough for me. Angry!

However, I am genuinely sorry that your experience with the billing side of things has left you feeling frustrated and angry. I completely understand how catching an unexpected charge can ruin an otherwise great experience.

We truly do our best to be as transparent as possible on our website about how the free trial and subscription plan work. The "cancel anytime" policy does mean you can stop the subscription whenever you like, but to avoid the next billing cycle, it does need to be canceled before the 28-day period wraps up.

Since the renewal has gone through and those lessons are currently on your account, we want to make sure you get every bit of value out of them. While they are valid for a full year, you don't necessarily have to use them all yourself right now! We offer a lot of flexibility to make sure they don't go to waste:
-Share with friends or family: You can easily transfer these lessons to someone else if you'd prefer they use them.
-Try something new: The credits can be applied to completely different skills or a different coach if you want to mix things up.
-Keep your current coach: You can space them out and jump back in with the coach you loved whenever your schedule allows.

We would be more than happy to personally help you get these applied, shared, or transferred so you aren't left empty-handed. Let us know how you'd like to utilize them, and we'll take care of the rest!

Teachme.To offers a platform to connect instructors and students efficiently and seamlessly. Customer service has been excellent. After going through the process with a client I’m kicking myself that I wasn’t an early adopter and that it took me so long to try it out. I just didn’t understand their concept at that point and wish I would’ve taken the time to do so.

Teach me platform is a great way to access a variety of new clients from beginners to intermediate with a very easy process of booking and communicating.
A helpful staff that follows up on students progress and assessing clients needs and expectations. I love using it and recommend it to other tennis pros

The help support is superb

The help support is superb. I have never had to wait for very long to get feedback. Also, I enjoy receiving email reminders and text when I have a new lesson scheduled.
I’m still hoping for a table tennis 🏓 lesson soon as the hit movie “Marty Supreme “ begins streaming on our favorite channels.

Useful app that allows you to connect with qualified coaches. The bi-directional lesson feedback feature was helpful to track progress against goals and get structured feedback to look back on.

I’ve had such a great experience using TeachMe! The app is incredibly user-friendly and makes learning feel engaging instead of overwhelming. The lessons are well-structured, easy to follow, and designed in a way that keeps you motivated to continue! Highly recommended

Navigating thru app is a little over complex sometimes? Maybe it’s my own user experience and judgement. It’s great, however choosing my availability and hours and locations can sometimes be confusing. Or a better word a tiny bit tedious. But I understand how technical software engineering needs to be. But overall great experience!!!

Would not trust them again

I had a really poor experience with TeachMeTo, both from a customer and a coach perspective. I used the service to connect with a golf coach, and even the coach told me they’d had a bad experience using the platform. Unfortunately, my experience as a customer wasn’t any better.

I saw no real value in the app itself, and the overall experience felt clunky and unnecessary. The biggest issue, though, was the billing. The service auto-renewed after 28 days. I had no intention of continuing and assumed, like most subscriptions, that it would be a normal monthly renewal with some flexibility. When I reached out, I was told there was nothing they could do—no refund, no accommodation—despite the fact that this was for a four-pack of lessons and I reached out the day this transaction was on.

For me, this wasn’t about the money as much as the principle. The response made it very clear that customer experience is not a priority here. It felt like the system is designed to trap people in renewals rather than actually serve students or coaches well.

Based on my experience, I would not trust TeachMe2 with your money. I don’t feel they have either their coaches’ or their customers’ best interests at heart, and I can’t recommend this service to anyone.

In fact, we reviewed your conversation history with our team, and it confirms that you were presented with two distinct options: the standard 'Lesson Packs' and the 'Subscription' model, with a clear description of how each works. You selected the subscription model, which operates on a 28-day renewal cycle as detailed in our terms of service.

While we understand it is frustrating to see a charge you weren't expecting on that specific day, our policy on non-refundable renewals is in place to ensure our coaches' schedules are protected.

That said, your lesson credits are active, valid, and ready to be used whenever you're ready. We would be happy to help you schedule them so you can get the full benefit of what you paid for. Thank you.

July 2025 for pickleball lessons for my wife.

In July 2025, after using the provided lessons, I contacted TeachMe.To support through the app and requested to place my subscription on hold until further notice. I received acknowledgment, and believed the account was paused indefinitely as requested, with no active billing expected.
Despite this, in January 2026, my credit card was charged again for a full subscription cycle without any prior notice, email alert, or confirmation that the hold had been lifted. I did not book or use any additional lessons, and the charge was unwanted and unauthorized based on my prior instructions.
This appears to be a recurring issue based on other BBB complaints and app store reviews, where users report surprise auto-charges after requesting pauses or cancellations. The app lacks clear visibility into subscription status, pause details, or easy cancellation options, leading to billing errors. Had to do a chargeback on my credit card for refund because they still refused. This company would do better if they didn't have to resort to scamming people.

Update (February 10, 2026): Response to TeachMe.To's public reply

Thank you for your response, but it does not fully address my concerns.

To clarify: In July 2025, after using the initial lessons, I explicitly requested via the app's support messaging to put the subscription "on hold until further notice" (indefinite hold, as we had no plans for more at that time). I did not receive any reply stating that this wasn't possible, that pauses require an end date, or that the account would auto-resume and charge without further notice or reminders. The app and communications lacked clear instructions on how indefinite holds work (or don't), contributing to the surprise January 2026 renewal charge despite no usage or re-activation from me.

I appreciate the offer for a correspondence transcript—please email it to me so I can verify the logs. In the interim, I still request a full refund of the unauthorized January charge and permanent cancellation to avoid future issues.

This experience highlights ongoing transparency problems with subscription management on the platform, as seen in other reviews. I hope TeachMe.To improves this for future users.

You mentioned receiving an acknowledgment of a pause in July 2025; however, our support logs do not show any incoming request or outgoing confirmation regarding a cancellation at that time. To ensure transparency, we can send you a transcript of all our correspondence so you can see exactly what we have on our end.

We understand you were surprised by the renewal, but this was a valid charge based on your active subscription. We would have preferred to resolve this with you directly rather than through a chargeback, as we want every student to get the value of their lessons. Thank you.

FRAUDS

FRAUDS! I would leave zero stars if allowed. "Hannah" called me when I messaged them for info and signed me up for a "free" lesson. All the messages are in the app and NEVER communicated this was a recurring monthly cost. Apparently they sent me a "text" outside of the app that informed me of a membership. I can't find this text. Absurd. So I've been getting charged monthly and NO ONE has reached out about trying to schedule lessons. The app is terrible and doesn't show you how many lessons you have paid for. Never been treated this poorly.

In that conversation, the subscription rate and renewal terms were explicitly explained to you. You acknowledged these details and responded with 'Let's try it,' which is when the booking link was sent.

We understand that texts can get lost, so we are more than happy to share a screenshot of this conversation with you to clear up any confusion.

We apologize if the app interface made it difficult to see your balance, but please know your payments are not lost! You have active lesson credits on your account. We can help you match with a new coach, try a different location, or you can even gift these credits to a friend or family member.
