Admittedly, I'm a tea snob. I hunt endlessly for the best loose leaf distributor, both on-line and in cities when I travel. I lived in Shanghai for a year and found wonderful teas. I returned home and could not find the same quality, especially in full leaf teas like: Kuuman and Hunan. LOOK NO FURTHER. After over a decade buying from a Boston area company, I have found TeaVivre and they OUTSHINE EVERYONE. (They even import directly some orders from China to your door because they are impossible to get anywhere else. TeaVivre's QUALITY IS UNMATCHED. This is the real deal.

Well packaged , very good quality This is my second purchase . My other teapots from another supplier , are more than twice the price !! I wish I would have found Teavivre sooner ! Honestly , a really good value .

The box containing the Shi Feng Dragon Well Longjing Green Tea I ordered two weeks ago arrived safe and sound.
The box containing the tea is very sturdy; obviously, the tea leaves were in a ziplock bag, but even the Menghai Ripened Pu-erh Cake Tea was placed in a ziplock bag!
I found everything very professional.
Regarding the shipping, I'm very pleased.
I'll give you another review once I've tasted the various teas.

At first, I thought this might be a great alternative to some other retailers -- A+ for variety, ship-speed, and customer service... that said, I found that all of the tea made me sick; they also tasted alike, even though they were quite different. I did purchase samplers and then bought more, and then sadly, realized the tummy ache and pain was coming from this tea. It's the first time I've purchased non-organic teas and I'm guessing there are some type of allergens like yeast, gluten, wheat, etc., that would normally not be found elsewhere. Over several weeks, I decided to stop drinking and pain/agony went away--and I can't bring myself to drink it again.

After doing some research, I decided to buy from TeaVivre and I'm very impressed! I purchased Tai Ju (胎菊) baby chrysanthemum buds. Upon opening the resealable bags, the buds were in great condition and better than ones I've purchased elsewhere. I like how TeaVivre clearly states where the buds are from, when they were harvested, and when they will expire.
Shipping was much quicker than I expected. My package arrived in perfect condition in about week. In addition, they offer free tea samples with every purchase! Even though TeaVivre is not the cheapest option, they offer high quality teas and I would continue to purchase from them unless they go out of my tea budget-haha.

Excellent and trustworthy source of Chinese tea. They often have sales on so you can get your tea for less!

I've tried many other suppliers like Yunnan Sourcing, Jessie's Tea House, and Tea Verdant, but the company that has consistently won me over is TeaVivre. TeaVivre in my opinion offers the best quality for the best prices and their customer service has always been exceptional. I ordered tea a month ago. It's still not here!
So frustrating! This happened last time (in 2022). I waited and waited and waited. I decided not to order from Teavivre again, but gave it a try anyway. So, the very same experience.
