Terrible escalation handling for Ref # 28261 / SWCV64F014BC-1. The previous technician replaced dryer rollers last week but knowingly left a faulty idler pulley inside because he didn't have the part. Leaving that broken part directly caused my dryer belt to snap a few days later, leaving me with a completely dead machine. Now the company is trying to charge me for a new belt and making me wait days longer for a follow-up. Total lack of accountability for their own mistakes. Avoid.

This company is absolute trash. They are charging me for a service appointment cancelled well in advance of the appointment. I received phone confirmation (no email) and that was my mistake.
Almost a year later WITH NO WARNING they have hired a shady collections agency now threatening me for $170. They are counting on customers giving up and paying the stupid fee.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. We had a technician out in early April for our Whirlpool washer, was told the part would take 2 weeks to come in, took nearly 2 months!
It gets worse.
They finally book the service, the technicians come and go within a couple hours. Tell me everything is running properly. Well come to find out it wasn't since after running a cycle an hour after they leave, my second floor is flooded because they didn't hook up the drain hose properly. We called the office to have them come back to fix the issue, and it didn't seem like an issue to the lady we both spoke with over the phone, as she only booked service for the next day. Even though we had water coming out of our kitchen ceiling light. No extra mile for a mistake that they made, the damages caused. Customer service was a joke.

Our Tech Kahmoi called ahead to advise he was coming. He arrived on time.. was helpful and patient while we made the appliance available. He found the problem and fixed the cook top and it is back up and running. Cleaned up.. and done. Thank you
They are scammers
They are scammers, but the amazing part is that they are connceted to Whirl Pool. Do not use them. They came to my home to fix a Jennair stove top and quoted me an extra $200 for labour. I got a second opnion from another company for $200 less, as a part was not needed and neither was a second helper needed. But because I had already paid them $169.49 for diagnostic, I decided to use them. I called them and said OK come to repair, but I told them another comapny had said we did not need the extra part and helper, and they refused and said we will NOT COME TO REPAIR BECAUSE YOU GOT ANOTHER QUOTAION>
My quotation was over the phone from another company, but they realized I may be trouble and refused service! so I lost $169.49 and used the second comapny/

I have sent a request to have a service person, and NO one has reached out to come to my issue.
This is after the first time they came out and charged me a fee and did nothing more than listen to the noise and move the washing machine around. Yes i stopped, and now it is back. I was hoping to have someone come, but I feel this company is not in it for the customer. My recommendation is to find another company that will respond to a request for service

After multiple service appointments, I was charged nearly $600 and ended up with the same issue with my Jenn-air dishwasher.
They charged me for multiple service appointments, replaced a part, and charged me for my next appointment to see that it wasn't working, still isn't working.

MY EXPERIENCE (Case #21629439):
Technician Uzair arrived for built-in microwave repair. He came ALONE despite built-ins requiring TWO people for cabinet removal. Did ZERO diagnostic work - literally just walked in, said he “needed another technician,” then DEMANDED $149.99+HST for providing absolutely nothing.
THE SCAM:
• Deliberately under-staffed to create “return visit” fees
• Demanded payment for zero service
• Then wanted ANOTHER $229.99+HST for “second visit with two techs”
• Total: $380+ in fees BEFORE any actual repair or parts
• Refused to take responsibility for THEIR failure to come prepared
• Held repair hostage until I paid for their incompetence
RED FLAGS OF ORGANIZED FRAUD:
🚩 Service fee with no service rendered
🚩 Multiple-visit fee trap (should be ONE properly-staffed visit)
🚩 Changing prices ($150 became $229.99)
🚩 Pressure tactics: “cannot proceed until payment cleared”
🚩 Zero accountability - hid behind “company policy”
🚩 Targets vulnerable populations who won’t question authority

I’m not sure where to begin because this has been an ongoing issue. But basically my dryer has a 2 year warranty. When I received the dryer it was replaced because it didn’t work. A year later when it needed repair under warranty the first technician came and fixed it. The dryer is defective and it broke down again. I was told the serial # didn’t match their records. I explained what occurred on delivery. The second technician came and replaced the heating element AGAIN! I showed him the warranty and he emailed his head office. Two days later they invoice me $300 . By the way the dryer broke again after one load 🙄
I told them it’s their problem if the serial number wasn’t added to their database. Anyway, they’re harassing me via email.
Please stay away from this company!!! First defective dryer, breaking down constantly, technician late by 3 hours, trying not to honor the warranty. I’ve never experienced such horrendous customer service. I will be contacting the BBB .

I wish I could give zero stars—this was beyond horrific. After only three measly years, the compressor on my Whirlpool fridge died. Unacceptable. I’ve owned GE fridges from 2010 that are still running after 15+ years, yet this overpriced hunk of junk couldn’t even last a fraction of that.
To make matters worse, I paid $465 for a so-called extended warranty promising “urgent repairs.” Urgent? What a joke. Seven days later—that’s a full week without a fridge—I have received nothing. No part. No update. Not even a courtesy call to say, “We’re tracking the part, here’s when to expect it.”
I have a small child. A week without refrigeration is not just inconvenient—it’s a health emergency. Whirlpool, your product quality and Whirlpool Appliances Pro service are a disgrace. You should switch to another service company.
Things seemed ok at first...
Let me say first off, the technician that worked on my issue was great.
It was dealing with the admin side of things that was particularly disappointing. For a repair (part replacement) that took 45-75min, setting up the service through the office was the worst experience.
Our dryer was experiencing a fairly common issue with the heating element failing after 4-5 years. The part could (and should) have been ordered the day of inspection (06-17-25). So we were expecting our dryer to be fixed relatively quickly. This was not the case. The technician informed us that he could be back to have the repair done within a week. Had to set up a service for a Wednesday after Canada Day. The company called back and said the part(s) were not available, and something else about there needing to be 2 technicians to complete the job. Had to reschedule for 07-07-25 due due other circumstances.
On 07-07-25 a SINGLE technician shows up and gets the job complete.
I don't mind that some things might take time due to scheduling conflicts. What I don't like is that the office personnel is not able to communicate the situation in an honest manner. If you messed up and lost the parts needed, or didn't actually order them, just say so. Try your best to not waste my time, and others. Just try to rectify the situation as soon as possible.
It would seem that many other reviews would reflect my problem with the admin services as well. Please try to get communication issues between technicians and office staff on the same page.
Pathetic experience
Pathetic experience. Did not receive my refund on the returned item. I paid for the return using UPS and sent the item in original packing.
Still no refund.
Never buy anything from them.
Microwave oven combo repair
WCT3V417H - online service repair schedule does not specify cost for visits.
Technician showed up for a microwave oven combo service I specifically mentioned and determined he could not take the unit out so I should reschedule for 2 bodies. For now, I should pay $129 plus tax.
What service am I paying for? To visit and tell me I need 2 people?
I called their service center and they said there is nothing they can do for me.
Beware of these service guys.

I was referred to Appliance Pros by Whirlpool, I had originally contacted a sponsored, "5 star Jennair repair company" on google and had been scammed. Appliance pros were a third of the price, payment requested after the job was done, not e-transfer upfront. The technician was patient, helpful, efficient and kind. They are very affordable and trustworthy.
Late and unknowledgeable
Called to say they would arrive within 30 minutes - 2 hours later showed up and did absolutely nothing - said would have to come back the next day after speaking to "technical support"

This is the worst experience ever, I called. I told them Clearly exactly what the part was on the model, that needed to be replaced. They scheduled an appointment to come out and, then when they come out, he doesn’t have the part, I took off a whole day of work, just for him to look at it and confirm that what I was saying originally what’s true. And now I’m waiting for another appointment to get the part installed. This is probably the worst company I’ve ever had to do business with.
Technician came to the house with no parts!!
Technician came to the house with no parts. I told the service "booker" exactly what the issue was with my built-in microwave. They had model # and ser #. Showed up with a screwdriver. He then told me he'd have to order part and return. I found out today days later that the tech cancelled my follow-up appointment and refuses to return. If I didn't follow-up on my own I would never of known. He spoke to me in a condescending manner until I told him I was a industrial electrician. He changed his tone and left.
