First box was great, second box had spoiled
Out first box from cheesegeek was great - all five cheeses were brilliant. Unfortunately the blue cheese in our second box had spoiled two days after delivery which we weren’t happy about.
I’ve raised with customer services to resolve, so hopefully this will be dealt with and we can continue to enjoy our subscription 🤞

Vile cheeses
I was drawn in to the expensive price for Cheesegeek Fife Vintage cheddar and Devonshire reserve. The Fife cheddar was absolutely vile and I’m a man who’s eaten 25 year old cheese and loved it, so I’m no stranger to strong or full flavoured cheeses. But this was just rank. The Devonshire Reserve was uninspiring. Judging by the fact only cheesegeek advertise these cheeses I’m guessing they’re taking cheap Arla wholesale cheese, packaging it up and giving it a fancy name. I can see why they drift in and out of financial difficulties.

While we're disappointed these weren't to your liking, we'd like to clarify one point. We don't source mass-produced wholesale cheeses and simply repackage them. We work exclusively with independent British artisan cheesemakers, many of whom are small family-run businesses with generations of cheesemaking and farming heritage behind them.
As your purchase was made through Sainsbury's rather than directly from us, we're unfortunately unable to arrange a refund or replacement ourselves. If you're unhappy with the product, we'd encourage you to contact Sainsbury's customer service, who should be able to help.
We're sorry that your experience didn't meet your expectations and appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback.

I'm so sorry to read about your experience, and I completely understand how disappointing this must have been.
Whilst our ice packs and insulation are designed to keep everything chilled for up to 48 hours under normal conditions, the recent spell of exceptionally hot weather, combined with delivery delays, has unfortunately affected some orders, and I'm very sorry that this impacted yours.
I've looked into your account and can't see that we heard from you after your replacement was delivered. Had we known that it had arrived with the ice pack melted and the complimentary crackers missing, we would have been more than happy to investigate and put things right.

This was a gift for an anniversary, I have sent cheese and wine before. Sad about the heat and unable to send on said day. You also said you would add some extras which was not received, I did get a small refund but this was not what had been offered so felt a little disappointed

Mystery boxes of cheese made partner happy
Was a Christmas gift for my partner. He loved getting a mysterious box of cheese regularly. Cheese was always delivered on time and well insulated again the weather. All the cheeses we had were delicious and we enjoyed eating and discussing the cheeses thanks to the handy booklet provided.

The staff went above and beyond!! Due to family circumstances my dad wasn't going to be home for Father's Day and they kindly changed the address to where he was going to be. When he received it, he was blown away by the choice of cheese. I loved how the little booklet told you which beer complimented which cheese. I will definitely be using Cheese Geek again!!
