Thank you for taking the time to leave your honest feedback. I'm sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your experience. We take the client experience very seriously and are always sure to take client feedback into account when modifying our products and services.

To begin, we are sure to set expectations from the beginning that SEO is a long-term process. It takes time and consistency to see results. At a minimum, it takes three months to see results as it takes google's search engine crawlers around three months to start indexing links. More visible campaign increases are usually seen around the 6-9 month mark, however even this is greatly dependent on other external factors. Your campaign manager Max, and account manager Jess, were sure to not only set results expectations at the beginning of your campaign but throughout the duration as well.

You first started with us in May 2022, with your campaign ending in November 2022. Before starting with us, you had minimal SEO work done to your site, having worked only with paid ads which have a very different ROI than SEO. So essentially, we were working from the ground up, with a lot of our focus being on creating content for your site to help match the search intent for your target keywords.

During the duration of your campaign, we saw many performance increases. We saw a steady positive increase in both your organic traffic and organic keywords, especially toward the end of your campaign. Specifically, we saw many positive increases in the positions of your main target keywords with a few examples being "affordable resume writing services" moving from position 29 to 7, "cheap resume writing services" moving from position 14 to 6, "cheap resume writers" moving from position 17 to 5, etc.

Moreover, Max went above and beyond to consistently communicate with you via email, loom videos, and over the phone to ensure the progression of your campaign was as transparent and straightforward as possible. We were additionally, very flexible with billing throughout the duration of the campaign, always going the extra mile to meet you halfway and provide the best service we could with the budget allocation and timeline provided.

In regards to the "fake media reviews" on Facebook, we did not pay for or insert these. These are left by crypto-scammers trying to drive people to their scams, and these do not benefit us in any way. I personally have been trying to get rid of these for months now and block and report every single review, but Facebook will not take them down.

All in all, we appreciate your feedback and hope this provided some clarification.

Here at the HOTH, we take client feedback very seriously and I appreciate you sharing your concerns in regards to your HOTH X Campaign.

A contract is a serious obligation and we by no means ever pressure or trick our clients into signing these agreements. This is an agreement that is discussed between yourself and one of our SEO Specialists, and it is ultimately up to you to decide if you'd like to sign the contract. We pride ourselves on our 100% transparent processes, providing not only a hands-on discussion of the terms of the agreement such as the duration, cost, and buyout options but also the written contract detailing those terms as well. After you discuss the contract with our SEO Specialists, for as long as you need to via phone or email to make yourself comfortable, the SEO specialist will confirm that you would like us to send over the contract for your reviewal, and signature if you decide to do so. We will then send over the contract. We do not blindly send contracts nor force you to sign them.

We did not sneak you into a contract nor threaten you to keep going. I apologize that you feel this way, but this is a process we take very seriously, and we would never coerce nor threaten our clients. I met with your Account Manager Trevor, and Campaign Manager Sam to confirm the proceedings of your HOTH X campaign from start to finish. Trevor confirmed that you met via google meet to discuss the terms of the HOTH X contract, during which he explained the duration, cost, buyout options, etc. As a result of you confirming your interest in the contract on this call, he sent you the contract which again detailed all of the terms of the agreement. You were not forced to sign this.

In terms of the threats and harassment you mentioned, we did no such thing. When you told us you wished to cancel your campaign due to personal reasons, your campaign manager provided you with the contract buyout options, which you were also made aware of prior to signing the contract, via the contract terms. If anything, our billing team followed up on the buyout options because you had ceased to respond to us or pay the terms that were again, listed on the agreement.

When it comes to the quality of our work, after reviewing your past communication with our team it seems you had been happy with our products and services and even detailed in your parting email to us that you wished to return to SEO one day when you were able to do so. I'm sorry that you feel our quality did not meet your standards, but our support team, as well as your campaign manager, were always there to help with any and all order concerns you had during the duration of your campaign.

All in all, I'm sorry that you feel we did not meet the mark here. It was never our intention to make you feel slighted. I hope this serves as clarification as to how our actions aligned with keeping the contractual process as straightforward and morally correct as possible.

I greatly apologize that you feel we missed the mark here with your HOTH X Campaign and would love to help better your user experience in any way that I can.

Unfortunately, SEO can be a slow-moving process that takes time and consistency to see results. Although we hit the ground running with strategy, content, and link-building immediately upon starting your campaign, it is not realistic to promise ranking in a given time period or for a given keyword. We would never want to make any false promises that we could do such a thing, and are careful to emphasize that," it can take upwards of 12 weeks for links to be indexed on google, so we typically don't expect to start seeing results until after month 3." I have confirmed with both your past campaign manager, account manager, and current campaign manager, that this was emphasized throughout working with you. I apologize if this wording caused any confusion, but we always want to make sure that this is clear.

I understand that there was some confusion between the results that you were seeing vs the results we were seeing. That being said, your initial Campaign Manager Max had sent multiple videos showing exactly what we were seeing in regards to your rankings on Google as well as your campaign results on Ahrefs. Not only did he show exactly what he was seeing, but he was also transparent as to what tools he was using as well, including MOZ, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.

When it comes to results, we saw an increase in overall organic traffic, the volume of keywords you were ranking for, the number of keywords you were ranking for on page one, and keywords ranking in positions 1-3. These results were shown to you via a loom video on November 18th in an email from Max. For further context, at this point, your campaign had been live for around 2 and a half months. We also saw an increase in the position of your keyword "Toronto Product Photography" from position 6 to position 3, as well as an increase in "Toronto Product Photographer" from position 5 to position 4. These insights can also be found in the November 18th loom video. When it comes to the difference in Google Search Results, it was also explained that the search results could be varying from your view to ours based on location, which is unfortunately out of our control. Nevertheless, we still saw the above positive changes in your campaign and did our best to try and understand why there was a discrepancy between what you saw and what we saw. In an attempt to see exactly what you were seeing, Max had also offered to use any tools that you preferred, over the ones he was using.

Overall, we greatly appreciate your feedback, but I do just want to emphasize that we have tried our best to go above and beyond to optimize your campaign. We have met you halfway on your strategy requests to focus primarily on "Toronto Product Photographer" and "Toronto Product Photography" although we have warned that this hyper-fixation could result in over-optimization for these keywords. We were also sure to be as transparent as possible as to exactly how and where we were sourcing your campaign results and were also quick to assign you to a new Campaign Manager at your request. Hopefully, this provided some clarification as to the strides that we have made to HOTH you. We greatly appreciate your business and would love to continue working with you.
