Ok so here's the thing right. I just got an email from the shop asking me to review them here, regards to a bento box I ordered. The bento box is very cute, I enjoy it, no problems there. The thing is that I actually ordered two things from them, the other being some earrings. And I think that's a much more interesting review to write.

So I ordered some earrings in pink. They arrived in orange. Very different from the pictures. Okay no problem, mistakes happen, we're all people. At the time I left a review on the review page of the shop, it was a three star review. After posting it, I noticed it didn't show at the top of the page. Then I noticed you couldn't filter for reviews at all. Interesting. Then I sent a mail over the shop's 'CONTACT US' page, which promises 24-48 hour response.

A week passed. Nothing. (Aside from my bento box arriving too. It was perfect and I reviewed it with 5 stars since I figured out how to post reviews on products themselves. This review was up in seconds.)

Then I decide to review the earrings themselves. Three star review, explaining both the missed color and lack of communication. I post the review. It doesn't show. There are six other reviews on this page (all 5 star) and the rating is 5.0, showing exactly 0 three star reviews (or any other stars) in their statistics. I refresh the page a few times. Nothing.

Not great.

I think I got an email response like a day later, saying they have no idea what happened with my initial contact. No problem, I send the pictures of the earrings as they arrived, I get a refund, standard stuff. The thing is. My three star review still isn't up. And the shop points which you earn by buying and reviewing a product had been taken away from my account, essentially pretending the purchase hadn't happened and punishing me for complaining about it.

Now I was ready to just let this drop and not shop here again, but then I got this email and well, it got me thinking again and I started wondering: If my review wasn't published, how can a customer tell like what the percentage is of them getting an order right (six 5 star reviews) and them getting it wrong (unknown number, but at least one). So I decided that yes, I will review the store. It feels disingenuous to me to have this sort of relationship with ones reviews. I hope this information is useful to whoever might be thinking about shopping there.

My boyfriend bought me a skirt awhile ago and it just hasn't came. I have no clue where it is or why I still haven't received it. I was hoping it would be here in time for an event but it was over a week ago. If you enjoy long wait times order from here!

My shopping experience on Kawaii Shoppu was amazing! Although I jave not bought anything yet, they have a wide variety of categories to choose from, whether it is clothing, tech, or plushies. I also like their points system; it is fun and there are rewards when you sign up and start shopping.

It’s been lost in shipping for nearly a month now. I have been given three different shipping companies to use when tracking my package, and the first one broke after ten days, the second one says that my package is using counterfeit postage, and my third one stopped updating after two days. I have no idea where my backpack is and this point I fully believe it was never shipped and I just got scammed.

An extra star because the customer service people I spoke to for updates were all lovely.

EDIT: they sent me an email telling me to change this review because I got this product. It used to be two stars because I had to wait for multiple months to get this product, it took three different tracking numbers/sites to even know where this product was, and I didn’t get actual help until I posted this public review.

Now it’s three stars because while the bag is big and holds my things, which include a book, a box of tarot cards, my wallet, and a couple of pins, the fabric is very thin and I can see bits of stray thread poking out of some seams. I don’t want to risk hanging it up or even putting too much in it and risk those loose threads actually being important instead of just leftovers. You also can’t put any keychains on certain zippers or else it will weigh it down and open the pocket while you’re using the bag. The side pockets are also very small and can’t stretch enough to hold my water bottle which is a 20 oz bottle— maybe that’s just an issue with my bottle. I don’t know.

TLDR: the bag is serviceable but if you want something for school, get something else. Also count on waiting a few months and having no idea where your package is that whole time.

The skirt is pretty and perfect, just adjusted for my size. I can’t put 5 stars because the delivery was very very long for me. However, it’s all good.

The post delivery service was fantastic and the item ordered online - the Pink Wired Backlit Ergonomic Mouse, arrived in one piece without damage. Will order from this beautiful online shop again. Keep doing great work, you have my support! :)

The products I've purchase are pretty good and cute

Item arrived with one of the pieces already broken off… it was wrapped so I can only assume they just didn’t care and/or not done a thorough enough job. Having said that, the material is quite flimsy and weak, especially at the price point!, and I can’t help but already worry how long it’s gonna last, especially with the one leg only…
It’s a shame because it’s a cute piece..
