Off grid engineer is a good company that delivers what they say, being my first order for a large amount.
I will explain how this company and 95% of other companies work they take your money and buy from trade wholesales to send direct to you so this may take a little bit of time.
I had one issue with part off my order missing this was sent out an I received it on a Sunday like I said very good company.
I would buy from this company again.

Initially had a problem with incorrect goods supplied. Fortunately this was eventually rectified to my satisfaction (with compensation).

Hi I can’t speak highly enough about Nick at the Off Grid Engineer company. He was so helpful and alway replied to my emails. If something was not right it was fixed in a day or so. If you want to do or are thinking of doing solar then this is the company to do it with. I look forward to dealing with them again.

The Off Grid Engineers are extremely professional & friendly. The instillation of the Victron electrics in my small day van is to the highest standards, they will not rush the job to ensure the instillation is perfect.

I needed an inverter to connect to the mains and charge some home batteries. I wasn't sure exactly what I needed so contacted a few suppliers including The Off Grid Engineer.

Given the current demand for renewable related equipment, I was surprised to receive a response the following day with a detailed list of what I needed and why. (The other two suppliers have yet to respond!) After receiving similarly quick responses to another question or two, I decided to place my order (c£2k) with The Off Grid Engineer.

Prices were competitive and (possibly more important right now) the products were in stock, so were delivered by the end of the following week. Overall a positive experience and I would be confident using again whether for a small or large purchase.

Excellent service from start to finish. Highly recommend these guys for any off grid install. Thanks again.

Item not delivered. Won’t answer emails or phone.

Spent around £1800. A lot of money for me. Was told if I needed any help to contact. One of the components (An MPPT) was wrong. I have called, emailed, messaged. I even have Nicks personal number. I called it and he promptly replied asking if I was calling about a van for sale. I explained no it was about products I had bought as I needed some assistance. He then ignored me and has done ever since. Very unprofessional. Avoid at all costs! Con man!

I placed an order for one of the off grid kits. I have to say I am very pleased with the service that was provided everything arrived on time apart from the panels, I contacted Nick who was unaware that his supplier had not shipped my panels he told me he was going to source a new supplier and deliver asap. I received an email back saying he was going to take it upon himself to deliver these panels himself I didn’t believe this at first as we are in a rural area in Scotland that would take 12hour round trip to get here, but true to form they delivered them on Saturday morning. You would not get this kind of dedication and service from others and I will be sure to buy anything Solar from these guys in future. Highly recommended company.

Used them for a large 1st time order, most pieces did arrive, some did not which happens these days, but no response to my follow up emails has been a little frustrating. A colleague building a solar system has had same issue, had to claim their refund from the credit card company as no response from company on non delivered order.

Trying to make an order with this company, but seeing previous comments have been taking a cautious approach. Seems this was wise, as it has now been 2 weeks of emailing and calling but no answer and nobody gets back to me (even once!). So one wonders if this company actually even exists. Probably not legit, glad I've cancelled before making the order!

Stay away from this lot, total fraudsters. Was told that they’d sanctioned my refund, still waiting for it over 3 weeks later. Won’t answer my emails. Total scam.

Having ordered a EV Charger and received a written assurance that it was in stock, and would be delivered by a designated date, and so booked the electrician to fit it, it did not turn up. No answer when attempted to ring, and no response to answerphone message left when machine eventually 'kicked in'. No response to emails and currently no idea if we will ever get anything from this firm. Based on my experience I would not recommend using this firm.

Great service, prices and product.

Ordered an item showing as "In Stock". Later received an email saying that it is not "In Stock" and that I have been refunded. Mt lastest statement shows that I have not been refunded.
I have attempted to call and email with absolutely no response at all.
Stock levels - false.
Saying they have refunded me - false.
My card company has been informed of this activity.

Fair prices and good service. Despite having a couple of problems, particularly with the battery supply chain (as everywhere), the way they were resolved meant I was a satisfied customer.

Useless, waited nearly week before being told item was out of stock, despite saying 3 available on their website.

Just bought a Victron MultiPlus from them - really impressed with the service!

Had a bad experience with two other suppliers - they lied about having stock, when they actually didn't and would have had to order from supplier, and I got messed about with the refund from them.

Nick from OffGridEngineer replied almost straight away saying they had stock and could get it to me fast, so I ordered it and it came less than 48 hours later.

Great service, very impressed how quickly they managed to get it to me after ordering, and the fact they had stock when the other suppliers don't is a big plus.

I'll definitely be using them again!
