5 stars for a quick refund, 1 star for not delivering the items.
8 days after placing my order the website said the order was dispatched, next day nothing arrived, I sent an email asking for a tracking number, did not a get a reply.
Next day I got a message from PayPal saying the money had been refunded.
All these solar suppliers are overloaded at the moment, but demand is going to stay high, so they need to get used to it.

New inverter delivered in promised time frame (2-5 days) and for a good price.

Informative, easy to use website with the reassurance of PayPal for payment (none of this BACS nonsense).

Happy to use again.

Not entirely sure about trust. Short story is that I didn't receive my order. Seller possibly lying about the order being sent out. Won't provide tracking info. Order got refunded. So it ended normally I suppose.

I'm confused though, after 2 weeks since I placed my order I contacted support asking where it was. And was told there was a delay due to the wholesaler and it would be delivered 3 days later, fair enough. Fantastic.

The end of the specified delivery date I still hadn't received my order and i contacted support asking them to cancel and refund my order if I still hadn't received it by the time they read my email.

They replied with what I now see as a sarcastic comment "we wouldn't want you to wait any longer!". And they agreed to refund the full amount AND let me keep the order when it arrives!! Brilliant right? Although why would they offer that for such a high value order, unless they know it's not going to arrive.

I complimented their solution to the problem but now I see that they knew the order wasn't actually sent out and it will not arrive and they certainly know that.

I then asked about when the refund will be processed because at this point I was extremely worried about some kind of scam especially since the generous offer of refund as well as keeping the order. I received a reply letting me know that the refund had now been actioned with yet another seemingly sarcastic comment "just wanted to let you know ASAP!".

So it ended ok for me with my money back. but with no tracking number provided (which I asked for 3 times) on such a high value order I was constantly worried about where my order was and if I'd been scammed. The offer of refund and item I was extremely grateful for but I now think that was just to shut me up. They gave a subtle impression that they were annoyed I wasn't being patient enough for my 3-5day order after 3 weeks (if they gave a tracking number it would've helped)

At the moment it appears I've been lied to a few times about my order having been dispatched. If my order actually ends up delivered, this review will be updated with 5 stars and and updated description with my apology. If it's still the 3 star review, the situation is unchanged and I wouldn't like to recommend

I sent email, i tried phone. Facebook, but still no reply from theoffgridengineer as when he is going to deliver my charger...

Impressive website and small team.
Ordered 5 panels but probably due to the amount of orders, my order went astray in their system with an incorrect dispatch marking.
Took a day off for delivery but never came
However once I managed to get through to Nick in customer services he assured me that delivery would be re-dispatched.
A new delivery date was suggested but again come and went.
After a discussion regarding the status of my order, Nick and his team very kindly dispatched the goods without cost with a tracking number as way of apology for delivery issue.

Whilst the webpage may say in stock it is best to send an email though to customer services to find out an exact date of shipping as I am not sure the webpage is alway correct.

Its seems the team are very genuine and will go out of their way to assist the customer for future orders.

I will be ordering again from theoffgridengineer as soon as I start my install.

I ordered the wrong EV Charger online. Nick responded to my email quickly and changed my order plus processed a refund. Would recommend this company 100%

I have placed a few orders over the last month and everything has arrived packaged well, as described and promptly. I was even emailed in advance of a package arriving in 3 parts. Very impressed, keep up the great work!

Fast delivery, competitive price but the delivery packageing could be better, the item was sent just in a light weight jiffy bag, the box was damaged but luckily the unit servived.

Great service, I initially ordered the wrong part which I was able to cancel without any issues and place a new order for the correct part. This was then dispatched very quickly via a tracked service.

Kind, helpful people. Would definitely recommend. They know their stuff and I felt they went the extra mile to help sort me out with what I needed given I wasn’t entirely sure myself but - a phone call and short conversation later and all was sorted. 5 stars easy.
