We love the Sausage Pits so much we have three!! One for the living room where one of us works from home, one in our bedroom and one in the spare room where the other works from home! I buy a bigger one so that both my mini dachshunds can snuggle together if they want to.
Lauren is lovely and always on hand with answers to any questions I might have in colour or piping. These are the only beds I’ve had that haven’t been completely destroyed by my girls as much as they try!! Lauren, keep doing what you do, you’re doing a great job!!

Florence won her bed in a competition (very lucky girl!) but I would 100% purchase again. The bed is very well made and one of her favourite napping spots in the house!

Really well made dog bed great for my dachshund who loves to burrow! It took her a while to warm up to it but once she worked out how to use it she hasn’t left it! Definitely recommend for all dachshund owners :)

Lauren is incredible, from her items to pricing to customer service and delivery. I could not fault any of her items and the car seat has been A GOD SEND TO US.

This can be reversed so you have fluff or grey material if it’s hot in the summer, we also bought a blanket from the sausage pit to fold ontop. I have 2 very nosey boys who like to look out the car Windows!
One being a mini and the other a 5 month old standard who digs non stop prior to sleeping everytime we are out in the car. If you are looking for bedding or car seats LOOK NO FURTHER! Having someone tailor to longer bodied dogs even when they are small really did change our lives.

I bought the car seat a few weeks ago and can honestly say we are obsessed! One of my dachshunds gets really car sick so I wanted him to be able to see out whilst being comfy and not having multiple beds for both dogs. Also it folds down super compact for when not in use! Lauren was so kind and helpful from my first message to see if she could put in three safety straps. This is why I shop primarily from small businesses, you get the BEST service from the best creatives and I can’t recommend The Sausage Pit enough.

I genuinely would not buy from anywhere else - the products are really high quality and customer service is amazing.

When I got my second sausage I had problems with her going through a chewing stage which unfortunately the beds came into that (along with my dining room chair, skirting board, and coffee table leg) - Lauren couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful, we found a solution and now their beds are still in 💯 condition and everyone who visits asks where they’re from and we recommend to anyone we meet with a sausage dog!

The youngest was also a pain in car journeys and since having the car seat is a dream - it’s comfy she can sit with her sister and look out the window at the same time. Bonus that the material is reversible now the weathers getting warmer so we use the faux fur for winter and the other side now it’s warming up.

I ordered a sausage pit for my 2 Dachshunds and they love it, have had a few weeks and so far not managed to damage in any way. Really well made and good value. Would definitely recommend to others and would purchase from them again in future.

Lauren makes the best dog beds…. I have purchased 3 so far along with having a lap blanket.
They are on the more expensive side but you pay for quality and love all the fabric choices.
My 2 sausage dogs love them, especially in the winter.
Will definitely be purchasing more….

The best thing I ever bought was a sausage pit for my daxie! As soon as I put it down she was in there immediately burrowing away, like she’d done it before! She spends maybe 5 hours a day in there, and it has still stayed the same amazing quality as I when I first bought it in November 2021. It’s not just for dachshunds, my Pom loves to use it as a pillow too!
I then bought a car seat and my two pups fit in it perfectly. We traveled to cornwall for over 6 hours and they both slept most of the way. Great customer service to, when I lost the instructions! Very happy purchase.

We bought a snuggle bed for our two year old Miniature Dachshund. She’s been through all sorts of beds over the years and we wanted something that would last. Being able to customise our fabrics, trims and lining was perfect and we’re so thrilled with the end product. Although not as thrilled as our dog is as she absolutely loves it! It’s so high quality and made to last. We chatted to Lauren about the types of fabric that would best suit our dog and her behaviour and she couldn’t have been more helpful. We were lucky enough to see their car seat in person at a recent event in Stratford and that’s next on our shopping list! Thanks again 🐾

My mini dachshund Winston loves his snuggle bed - Lauren was so helpful answering my questions/worries about him possibly chewing it (he was a puppy when I bought it for him). He had a bit of a chew for a few days then we’ve never looked back! Even in the recent hot weather I can always find him curled up in his bed looking ridiculously comfy. I’m thinking of getting him a Sherpa fleece cover so he doesn’t have to go without his bed for the few hours it takes for me to wash it!! Thank you Lauren and the Sausage Pit 🥰🐾

Honestly can't emphasise how BRILLIANT our sausage pit is! My daxie absolutely adores burrowing, digging and sleeping in it! Lauren was super helpful, she responded quickly to dms on instagram, and I know how hard it is to keep track of them! She provided great advice on the colour to match our decor and we went for the gorgeous sea foamvelour with copper edging with faux fur lining. It's such a gorgeous product! It's really well made, you can extract the cushion to wash it in the washing machine, and Lauren provides details of how to wash it, low temp, no conditioner etc.

I have bought an array of products for my dachshund and always find the companies that own the breed make the best products, The Sausage Pit are one of these as they truly understand the breed and their traits

We have purchased 2 sausage pits for our dogs and a car seat. We could not be happier with all 3 items. The car seat fits both our dogs in and they are very comfortable and the beds are amazing. The boys loves sleeping in them having tired numerous beds before. Thank you and highly recommend.

I love our snuggle bed! My boy is a burier and is always looking for things to sleep under, whether a blanket or a duvet! The snuggle bed is PERFECT! He’s a long boy so I purchased the larger size and it completely covers him. The fur is so soft and keeps him snug and warm - but what’s even better is it washes beautifully, keeps it’s shape and the fur remains so soft!

It’s great you have the option to purchase additional covers without the mattress pad - I’ll definitely be getting a fleece one for the summer to change out with the fur in the winter! It’s awesome that Lauren allows this - it really makes the products so accessible to consumers! Just drop her a message she she can tell you how to order!
