Do not trust at all!
I paid for theory test - booked for November but Covid meant cancelled and rescheduling. I didn’t hear from them at all about the cancelling of the test - I learnt from another source. I asked to get my refund. There’s no way to contact them. I took a punt and replied via the original email which worked. They wrote back finally and said I had rescheduled. I had paid another company to reschedule because this website wouldn’t let me get in touch. They then complained that they had 4,000 people to contact and were ploughing through it. I said they could have done a blanket email to give us an opportunity to get a refund in this uncertain time. When I tried to reply they had blocked my reply and closed all correspondence which is outrageous because I had asked for my money back.
I tried to write back via another new ticket request but they had blocked my email address!!!!
It also says you get theory training material and practice tests for other every order- I didn’t get anything! I’m now taking this to the Fraud team.... don’t bother with them.. they just take the money and run!

Literately got scammed. First of all, I requested to book a theory test at a certain date and waited for confirmation for that date. Instead, they booked me in 3 months after what I requested and already confirmed me and charged £45 where on the TFL its only £23. I booked it here at first because it was showing that there was spaces and on the TFL website it was fully booked for 2-3 months, due to COVID.

Right now Lockdown 2.0 has just occurred and I was not getting any emails or messages from thetheorytest.co. So I was thinking theory tests were still going on even in this lockdown 2.0. However, I searched up on TFL about the theory test and found that the tests will be postponed during the lockdown. So I went on thetheorytest.co to try and reschedule, contact or send a ticket so that I can sort out a rebooking due to the lockdown. From there on I basically got scammed for this website!

Massive waste of money. Totally knocked the quality CGI videos off the DVLA app, and their real life hazard scenarios are truly bad, both the situation is bad, and the scoring system probably was added by a chimp.

Out to make money . Thought it was the official government site, it isn’t . Paid £45 when test is only £23 if you book directly .

SCAM!! Paid £45, went for my theory this morning just to get told I wasn’t on the system. This website needs to get shut down!! Found the location of where they’re based and feel like throwing a brick through there window :)

SCAM. My daughter booked through this site, thinking it was official. They 'adjusted' her test booking for a date before her 17th birthday so illegal to take the test while she was still 16 years old. No telephone number, no email address. Taken her money. Totally scammed.

SCAMMERS DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY
I have tried to re book after failing my test weeks ago but have had no correspondence from them. There is no email or phone number to contact them either. I don’t know how this company is allowed to operate. Wish I had checked reviews first. Will definitely be contacting trading standards & watchdog !

A bunch of rogues who claim you can book any location and any time before you hand over your money, then alert you that your chosen test centre is not available and here's a new one an hour or so away. Then when you cancel because you wouldn't have booked that time or location in the first place, they hold onto almost half of your initial fee quoting some small print that you won't have read before handing the money over. Calculated deceit, a clear racket praying on young innocent consumers. Should be shut down.

AWFUL company, booked my test in bolton only to get it in wigan?? Andd on top of all that they booked my test 5 MONTHS AFTER the date i booked it.

so after reading these reviews I'm guessing I won't be getting a refund or rescedualed booking? how are these people able to scam so many people? I went to my CHOSEN test centre today (bradford) for it to be closed, so I rang the dvsa to find out what was going on to be told my test was rescheduled for hull!! I live in Bradford and clearly don't drive so why would I be going to hull?! complete joke of a site and I hope they all enjoy living off money from a single parent trying to better herself!! no ways to contact the company or anything so let's just face it we are all been robbed daily by these scumbags!! I will defo be giving these a bad name and making it clear to be avoided at all costs!! evil money grabbers

This site is awful and misleading. It comes up first when you search to book a driving theory test but charges £45 when you can book direct through DVLA for £23!

I tried to cancel immediatley after booking as I realised it could be a scam and they still charged me £20 so basically I've now lost £20.

ALWAYS GO DIRECT THROUGH DVLA

Does anybody have any advice in what steps to take in order to claim a refund (legal actions) that has been successful for them, thanks in advance

Booked the test and paid the £45.00 and never got as much as an email for anything, complete Fraudulent!

They stole £45 from me. Made me run from test centre to test centre whilst they new that the address they gave me was fake. They should be shut down.

Very misleading. I thought I would get earlier appointment but it gave me very late appointment as in 3 months delayed from requested date.

I should have booked myself in dvsa website rather than here.

Booked test in early march.because of lock down cancelled till June.then cancelled at short notice rebooked in july cancelled again. since then can not get hold of anyone .says on there website I've done test . which I haven't.also I paid for more than one test.sent emails returned undelivered.phone no is just cut off after auto cue .

First let me say I have given this company one star as the system will NOT let me do ZERO STARS.
This is a complete scam. They OFFER a unlimited try on the test, but DO NOT tell you if you fail the hazard perception portion of the test they WILL not honour the agreement. Even if they have not booked your test, they will take the £45 and refuse to refund you unless you pay £20 admin fee......
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

They just stealing money, the test which one you have to do on they webside if you past the test then they open for you unlimeted test, but they lier, the test should be for one hour. My one was 25min. Impossible get right questions. And the questions didn't make sence.
Dont use!!! Book your test on government webside!!!!!!

If possible I would give zero stars. I had asked for a location near me but was given a completely different location that was very far from me without!!!! My permission which i would never be able to get to as it’s too far for me. So a cancellation is inevitable but to cancel I had to pay a £20 cancellation fee and have not received any money back yet and to add to that I won’t be getting the full amount money back anyway. I will never recommend this sight to anyone. Do not use.
