Awful
Awful. Since they are not based anywhere once they leave you cannot connect. I had an appointment in January and wanted my prescription sent to Chewy. March 2 I requested the prescription It is March 23 . It still has not been done. I have called and emailed EVERY day but it is a call center abroad.

Just don’t
Just don’t. My local mobile vet clinic was absorbed by the vets. At first, I was interested in their membership program and decided to give it a try. I didn’t understand the terms and attempted to cancel the membership the very next day. This turned into four months of back-and-forth conversations with the vets. Their customer service is abysmal. It is nearly impossible to get a hold of someone. They charged my card without my consent. It has now been four months that I have been trying to resolve this issue. I actually had to cancel my card because they continually charged my card without my consent while I frantically tried to get a hold of someone via phone and email over four long months. I must have made over 50 points of contact trying to resolve this issue. I have never lost such profound trust in a company as the vets. Do not trust them with your card or any financial information. If there is no communication and transparency, the company is predatory and has no business near your finances. Learn from my mistakes. Just don’t.
Customer service HORRIBLE
The vets who work for this company are wonderful. The company itself and its customer service is terrible. I have been trying to resolve an issue for months now that is 100% their fault, and they won't respond to my emails.
The Dr's (especially Dr Bryan) and vet…
The Dr's (especially Dr Bryan) and vet techs are very caring and gentle with my cats. The process of an appointment is horrible. Made the appointment, got the confirmation and then....5 emails, 6 texts and 3 phone calls wanting information. All of which they had but kept repeating the process over and over. My cats were well taken care of and stress free but me on the other hand got very stressed out from this messed up process when all my thoughts should have been with my cats. The travel fee has also gotten astronomic since The Vet took over, other fees are very reasonable. I will continue to use The Vets because of the care from the veterinarians but please try to do something with the office end of things. Last but not least why no android app? You have apple and I personally don't know anyone that has an iPhone. Thank you

Unfortunately this company absorbed the company that my mobile vet was working for. He is great. His new company is terrible.
Impossible to get someone to call you…
Impossible to get someone to call you back! My dogs medicine has 5 refills and I contacted them a week ago with promises a refill would get sent in, I've had to email them 3 times and my poor dog is still miserable. I'm going to my local vet today and spend more money because this place can't return a call/email. I'd definitely call your local vet, these people aren't good.

We are an existing Bettervet customer. The vets bought Bettervet, and we no longer have service/a vet. How did we find out? Unable to book online. No response to email. But calling in, "We don't support your area anymore."

home visit vet GREAT for cats, evil or non
I needed a vet who could come to me due to mobility issues. The veterinarian and who I assume was, her assistant were both great. My cat was evil, but they were still great. Highly recommend.

I could not be more pleased
I could not be more pleased. They came on time and were well prepared. They had previous records for all four of my cats and knew what needed to be done. They were very kind and gentle. The cats loved them. I will definitely use them again.
Unprofessional
Unprofessional. The Vets rescheduled our appointment without reading the patient's records and 1/4 of my pets could not be seen. Last year, I paid 3k for their visit and they are unable to read a dog's patient record. Unacceptable. Protect your pets and your money.
Thoroughly satisfied
I've been thoroughly satisfied with The Vets and their Wellness program.
VERY LIMITED but still will book the appointment and take the payment
First, I want to acknowledge that the vet tech was absolutely fantastic. She showed exceptional care and compassion for my dog, and her bedside manner was truly wonderful. However, my overall experience with The Vets was incredibly disappointing due to a lack of communication and transparency.
I contacted The Vets regarding specific issues my dog was experiencing, which I had detailed in my initial inquiry. Given the nature of my concerns, it should have been made clear beforehand what the mobile clinic was capable of handling. Unfortunately, this didn't happen. When the team arrived, they essentially performed basic checks like taking my dog's temperature and pulse--things I could have done myself, and actually I did take her temp for them because she was uneasy having them do it--and charged me $168. Despite their visit, I am still extremely worried about my dog's condition. Because they did not diagnose, or treat. Just gave a list of worst possible scenarios all involving surgery or quite obviously death.
The vet immediately suggested that my dog would likely need to go to a clinic equipped with X-rays, which could have been communicated over the phone, saving both time and money. Instead, I am now waiting on Christmas Eve for an urgent care clinic to open, praying that none of the frightening possibilities the vet listed turn out to be true.
While the vet was polite, it was frustrating that he seemed to assume my dog's care would require another facility before even examining her thoroughly.And given that he was able to determine this based on my description, why was this not determined before confirming my appointment and taking my money. This lack of preparation and failure to set clear expectations over the phone made an already stressful situation much worse.
I wish The Vets had been upfront about their limitations so I could have sought appropriate care for my dog sooner. While the vet tech was excellent, the overall experience left me feeling let down, out of pocket, and still anxious for my dog's health.
Fantastic experience - will become a regular
We have three dogs, and two of them have developed vet anxiety over time. With one of them, things can get so bad that sometimes we have to abort an examination because he is so worked up.
Fast forward: we just had our first home visit with The Vets. TOTAL GAME CHANGER. It was the most enjoyable experience. Being in our own home, our dogs were in a playful mood and the "problem child" was rolling all over the floor making friends with The Vets team. Zero anxiety. Instead, lots of tail wagging. The whole examination was super thorough because the dogs were so relaxed that they allowed every piece of being examined everywhere.
Our only regret is, that we did not try this sooner - we could have avoided years of stressful appointments.
Two points that I read in other reviews:
SCOPE OF SERVICE: well, of course this is not a full-service vet clinic. They are pulling up in a van - what do you expect?!? They have a pharmacy on board, so issuing prescription drugs is easy. And they will soon have a mobile X-ray machine which is cool. They can also perform some basic lab work like checking for heartworm status. But of course, they can't perform anything that requires anesthesia (like dental cleanings or surgical procedures) because that would require a stationary operating room. They also don't have a full-size lab in that van. Of course not! Major blood work is being sent to a dedicated lab - but that's the case with most stationary vets anyway. For standard check-ups and "regular" sick visits these folks are fully equipped.
THE PRICE: well, they come to your house and bring everything with them. Of course that's not a bargain. It's basic economics. You don't book The Vets for the discount pricing, but what you buy from them is convenience. In our case, our regular vet is on the pricey side to begin with, so what we paid for The Vets is basically the same.
Also, I read some criticism of The Vets being "corporate". I find that a bit silly. Being a bigger company means, they have very thorough and consistent processes and systems, and their equipment is state of the art. I have nothing against individual mom & pop vets, they are great, too. But criticizing The Vets for being a bigger firm doesn't make sense to me.
Overall, I cannot recommend this enough, if:
- You are seeking convenience
- Have pets with high vet anxiety
- Understand that this is not for mobile surgery or major procedures
- Have the budget
This company is a money grab
This company is a money grab. They are so limited on what they can “treat”. Greedy corporation out of Israel…disconnected from real life and how to treat good employees. The technicians run this company. I’m a disgruntled ex-employee that can do a better job at it with my own company. So that’s what I did! They really screwed me over…but poor choices have bad consequences. Gonna learn soon Vets when I come after all of your clientele and run yall out of the city. Then the next city..and so on. Stupid name BTW.
Their annual plans are a scam
Their annual plans are a scam. They provide only one exam appointment on a complementary basis. Appointments for any other issues cost $99 even with membership, contrary to the website. It is almost impossible to cancel.

Vets fine, company crooks.
The vets were nice enough, but the company is completely incompetent. I had to cancel my credit card after a few months and updated my new card on their site for the membership. They harassed me CONSTANTLY that my credit card was declined even though I kept updating it. When they finally got it straightened out they charged me $1000 all at once! It’s Christmas and I’m sole provider.
