I purchase a special in August 2019 for 2TB for $59, LIFETIME In December an offer to double my storage for an additional $29, so now i have 4TB's for $100... 'Lifetime', whatever that turns out to be. A gamble that i sometimes question. Now for my review. The only access to Thunderdrive is through a Web interface, of the browsers i've tested Chrome works best. The interface is somewhat functional and I've successfully uploaded roughly 500GB's to my drive. The upload process is somewhat painful and reliability is OK when transferring 1 - 2 large files at a time. I upload large video, CAD, and image files and have successfully transferred 4GB files at a time however the failure rate can be upwards of 30%. When functional i achieve a transfer rate of about 2GB in 4-5 minutes, not bad but i have very fast Fios. I use Desktop 50% and Android 50%, my apple phone fails nearly 100% of the time which is VERY frustrating. At this time, February 2020, NO apps have been released for Windows, Android, or IPhone... a target Thunderdrive missed without acknowledgement. I don't want to pan Thunderdrive as i'm being Patient and hopeful this startup will eventually get the apps certified and released. I want my gamble to pay off! 4TBs LIFETIME is one hell of a deal if it pans out. I will acknowledge that everything i have uploaded is backed up elsewhere as I have great concerns that one day i will log in and POOF.. Thunderdrive is no longer but i'm holding out that i will soon have a much more functional cloud drive once the Android, Desktop, and Iphone apps are released.

i´m trying to upload 1.2gb movie file with error and very slow transfer speed. I have acquired 2TB with no way to upload big data.

There was some confusion when I first tried to set up my Pro account that I purchased through XDA Developers Depot. The confusion resulted in setting up 2 accounts. The second account was set up directly through Thunderdrive. The end result is I paid for !0Tb of storage but I only have 6Tb. Despite numerous emails with Thunderdrive nothing has been done and I am still 4Tb short.

I made the mistake of paying $98 with a Bank card for 4 TB in "perpetual use". I was led to advertising, and in computer media. If you do not want to be deceived, do not contact this office. There is no download speed, no promised disk space, and no technical support. Of course, no one is going to return the money. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!

Скорости загрузки нет, нет обещанного объема диска, техподдержка отсутствует. Денег возвращать естественно никто не собирается. НЕ РЕКОМЕНДУЮ!

Very poor quality, impossible to send larger(?) files which are bigger than 300mb!!!

Trying to block the truth never worked in history so I cannot wait to see your failure!

1. Barebones interface, similar to Google Drive. Except this interface is for an online storage service that doesn’t really work.

2. There’s no support. ThunderDrive has neglected all of my emails requesting support

3. I’ve tried so many times to backup my photos, files, folders, etc., with nothing but issues. Uploads of all files are slow, never completed and you have to guess what made it or not. There’s no log or history of activity

4. Within the last couple of weeks just getting the site to display my folders takes a long time

Is this a money making scam? If it’s a legit, I don’t know how this company is still up and running.

I've had a great experience using it for the past 3 months. But today when I tried accessing my account, I couldn't.

The server down all the time. Could not upload anything for some occations. Their supports never help. Better asking and excuse, but not improvement.

This service is not real. It takes hours to load 1 page. I hope we can get our money back and see some legal resolution to the vial fraud that is thunderdrive based on the "service" they provide. When they put a message they will try to resolve your issue, it's not true. They privately emailed me random insults like asking if I'm disabled to not understand I'll never see my $ again.

I purchased this service last year, fulling understanding that it is supposedly a work in progress and that it might have some issues.

What I DIDN'T expect, is that after all this time I STILL am unable to upload files! This is legitimately the worst service I have ever used. Any service you pay for should have at least SOME functionality. I am disgusted beyond belief that I fell for this, as I work in IT and should know better.

I believe that while they claim to have allocated several terabytes of storage to each user, they don't actually have that much space. So I have been capped at 7.86 gigabytes, and am unable to upload anything further. This is a scam. I've tried several browsers on multiple computers. Do not fall for it. If these problems are not addressed within the next few days, I will pursue legal action.

This is a complete con job, be warned. They are taking peoples money, including mine, under false pretenses. I have contacted them through several emails, attempted to contact them through on line chat and have received no response. I have requested a refund, again no response, am now in the process of opening a PayPal dispute to try and get my money refunded.
According to their website, their road-map to having an Android and iPhone app available was Q3 2019. Still nothing. Many time I have tried to log into my account but their server could not be found, the web address would not resolve.
Any response from thunderdrive that does not contain an genuine apology and an undertaking for a full refund date of my money is only adding insult to injury.

Got a 2TB lifetime account and I've been trying to use it for a few days now.

I have a 500/500 connection (speedtest give me more like 560/900 Mbps) but the upload to Thunderdrive lies steady at 100 KBps.

With this speed it would take me 250 days of uninterrupted upload to fill my quota (if my math is correct). Pathetic.

It's all theoretical though, as many uploads seems to fail anyway. After a long time the upload seems to finish but there are no files to be seen when you look.

I queued eight files to upload over night, only three or four showed up when finished.

Sent an email to support but I don't expect any help really. I think they just don't have the capacity to handle the traffic.

Purchased a lifetime package. Their roadmap was Q3 2019, mobile apps. Q4 2019 desktop app. It is Q1 2020 now and my multiple online chats and emails to them regarding the failed deliverables have gone unanswered. I won't be surprised if this service shuts down without notice.

The website loads very slowly. It's almost unusable. Paging down to load more files triggers a reload that takes over two minutes. The user interface is crude.

GARBAGE... STAY AWAY

How can exist service with A LOT OF PROBLEMS. TERRIBLE!!!!

Every time I try to access my account, my credentials are never found. It only works from the link that's been sent via Email. Something is not right in that area. Besides the huge memory space, the quality of this platform is rather disappointing. I hope for that to improve very soon.

Very slow , Spent all day uploading about 60G of data. It is no where to be found. According to Thunderdrive I've used 0 of my 2TB storage space. The price is inviting, but if you can't store data, it is useless. Will try to get resolution with the company support.

So I have the 2tb lifetime plan and I have to say, this is so slow it will force you to use other alternatives. I have ThunderDrive.io and other service and by far it is terribly slow to upload files despite having a 300mb upload and 600 mg download connection.

Save your money unless you want to age considerably at the same time it takes this to backup your files.

Extremely slow and usually only uploads some files out of a folder instead of all of them. This means I then have to manually reload the missing files and it's a pain. I wouldn't trust this service as your only cloud service, and why have a second one? Wouldn't purchase it again.

Update: Thunderdrive attempts to remove all negative reviews from Trustpilot. I have provided evidence of my purchase to Trustpilot, after Thunderdrive reported this review as "not being genuine" and tried to have it removed. Their attempt to remove reviews pointing out shortfalls in their product is an additional red flag. Do yourself a favor and do not purchase this.
