Aloha, my name is Brian and i have used Token Tax software every year since 2017 to present 2023 years tax preperation to create my 8949 for my cpa. The software at Token Tax allows you to grab your own data from your own sites that you have done crypto business with and upload it so let their software to take care of it for you. BUT THE BEST PART OF THE TOKEN TAX IS their SUPPORT TEAM who keeps in contact with you if something looks odd or when you need help with your 8949 prep. They Demi, Kerri, Emma, and Vincent, and of coarse the CSV team are sooo Helpful and cheerful i dont know how they do it!! ask for help and they dive into it for you!! it doesnt matter if your a beginner or a novice you need help and Token Tax software AND support is always there for me!! I LOVE THEM AND I AM a CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!!!

I am an 81 year old rookie investor.
These young folks have shown EXTREME patience with my complete lack of technical ability in retrieving the information necessary for our tax accountant.
I have told them to use my "dumpster fire" case study in their training. I expected them to tell me to "go somewhere else" at any frustrating moment, but they hung in there and kept me focused on the task.

Tokentax is focused on helping you avoid painful audits and on teaching you how taxes work. They give you options so you’re an active participant in your taxes. They also caution you from making common mistakes.

I have them do my full return. One of their accountants, Steve C, is particularly professional and punctual. He writes extremely clear messages about what is needed from you, follows up frequently, and applies the perfect amount of pressure to get things done.

I have been relying on TokenTax for a few years to leverage their DeFi expertise: consolidate DeFi and TradeFi records into a coherent report that my tax advisor can use; always ready to answer my questions; and provide in-depth advice on how to trade and not-to-trade to reduce tax.

Well, it’s another year with Token Tax, 2024 to be exact!

So far so good!

Pros:

I think the web code that runs Token Tax has improved, it seems to be more intelligent on handling various tax situations and changes than previous years. It was already great but has significantly improved in particular this year. On another note, one thing I really enjoy at Token Tax is you can reach out to their customer support if a problem should arise, and they will go above and beyond to help you out. Also, special shout out to Robin at Token Tax, he is such a friendly and genuine fellow. He has helped me many of times on some tough tax situations and smaller issues.

Cons:

I would like Token Tax to create a service where you can bring your own CPA and they can manage your account and fix the errors etc. That would be cool. Anyways just a thought. I know they have their own service with their own CPA’s but it’s kind of pricey. Anyways over all I give it 4.8 out of 5 stars!

Fourth year using Tokentax software with a minor hiccup this year.
Had an issue with Bitrue data and Tokentax team worked promptly to resolve, very happy!

I like their software. It can't do everything automatically yet, but it's very good at the fundamentals. From there you can work out how edit the transactions that need to be edited on your own and with the help of the customer support team. I worked with Kerri this year, who did an amazing job at digging into my issues and fixing a large number of transactions for me. This was all done on the Premium Plan, so there are higher levels of service where they do all the tedious work for you. Looking forward to next year!

Been using them for a few years, the VIP plan is super worth it if you're an active crypto user (on-chain). Evan has been an MVP for me and can't recommend him and TokenTax enough!

Brilliant GenZ support for Boomers! Every one of the ever-available support staff at TokenTax were informed, educated, patient and kind which is such an amazing relief for us septuagenarians. Crypto is an amazing way to deal with the debasement of our financial dreams and security, but the taxes are daunting. I have tried 4 other crypto tax companies, but my 2 years with TokenTax have been a blessing and I will stay! Thank you TokenTax!

Due to bridging across multiple chains many of my transactions were not being properly calculated. Kerri and the tokentax were very helpful in guiding how these transactions should be calculated in order to fix the missing cost basis.

Been using Token Tax for 4 years. Wrong almost every year, but usually not off more than $2K. 2023 was way worse than usual. There were so many transactions with errors that I had to pay for a different software to finish the job. It was literally counting hundreds of buys as sells even though there was no cost basis. Not worth $200.

I've been a VIP subscriber for TokenTax for the past 3 years and have had them file my return for me. They have helped me reconcile very complex, multi-chain and mulit-CEX transactions. Highly recommend their services.

I've been with TokenTax as a VIP since 2020, and they've been amazing, especially with my complex crypto transactions. They've handled everything perfectly, even helping me fix my 2019 taxes after an IRS issue. Their customer service is awesome, always fixing any problems and answering my questions clearly. I've seen their platform get much better over time, making it easier to use. If you're not dealing with a lot of DeFi or NFTs on different networks, their Premium plan should work great for you.

I've had a very good experience with tokentax, if you do defi, I believe they are the best platform out there, I have used a few before. The best part is their customer service, they are very well trained and knowledgeable and always get back very quickly. I have used them for about 3 years now.

I needed lots of help to import data from different exchanges. The service I received from Robin at Tokentax was excellent. She replied to my inquiries right away and was very helpful.

I’m a retired CPA. I’ve used TokenTax for three years now, and I can’t recommend them enough. My account manager, Sam, is simply amazing. She take her time going through my complicated crypto transactions and is very helpful when asked questions by my external accountants (even on weekends). The other support staff are excellent as well.

TokenTax is a rare find, they have the experience to handle complicated returns, but possibly even more important, they are fully committed to providing a seamless and professional experience.

They have been there for me for my last four returns, one of which had a significant amount of trades. I can't think of another company who could've done a better job!

I am in my 4th year with Token Tax. 5th year upon resubmitting an accurate 2021 return. The client service is first-rate. Entering data is easy! I used another service that calculated my tax liability at over $200k because they do not have the technology and expertise to handle large-volume trading. Token tax simply said, "We can help". My tax liability was less than 10% of that number. Token tax redid my taxes for the previous year and I now sleeping better. Token unbeknownst to me rescued my 2017 return from a fledgling firm and reduced 90% of my gain through tax-loss harvesting. Honestly, I will not use any other firm!

The best. Nothing else compares.
