Ari was honestly brilliant, the treatment I received today was a luxury manicure and pedicure with both gel.

Ari is very formal through out the whole process, offered a truly amazing service.
A true asset to the company.

Absolutely horrible manicure and pedicure at Slingsby place, Covent Garden. I booked signature gel manicure and pedi. I never leave negative reviews but this time even my husband said it looks bad, super thick gel and looks like I’ve done it myself, paid £105. I’m sorry that Trustpilot doesn’t allow to attach photos. Not coming back!

Update: the gel peeled off fully on one finger on my right hand 4 days later. I am now on a holiday with no gel on one finger. After the manicure, I received an email saying they provide a 7-day guarantee in case if gel peeles off. Now I understand why they are offering it 😆 not looking forward to a manicure and then having to come back to fix it a few days later even if it’s for free! Never coming back. Save your time and money, avoid!

PS. Their response that they cannot identify me is ridiculous, as I’ve literally put my name, the date of experience, the exact place and what I paid in this review.😆

Absolutely horrendous. I came back because they previously refunded the amount of the poor quality manicure as points. However, yet again I’ve been cancelled on at 11am on a Sunday. This is the second time this has happened. They offer £5 off, but don’t tell you where you can rebook for the day so you end up fighting their horrendous website only to discover there are no appointments. For a luxury salon serving busy people this is just crap. They should have an ability to cover appointments if someone is poorly and if the cancellation fee they charge us for cancelling (eg., the full cost of the service) should be what we are refunded for cancellations. You also can’t contact them by anything other than their badly served web chat that is supposedly open 9-6pm Monday to Sunday, but at the weekend good luck getting a reply. Overall a rubbish overhyped company. I won’t be using again.

Really lovely salon, spotlessly clean. I had the signature pedicure with Mariam who was so lovely, polite and friendly. Gorgeous, relaxing hour and my feet feel and look amazing. Would 100% recommend and will defo be returning

Company refuse to refund difference between service booked and service provided. We were unable to recieve the polish aspect of the treatment due to the damage caused by the polish on previous visits (thinning of nails and lifting, apparently not uncommon, we were told two other customers and a member of staff were also affected, so beware if you spot this, as apparently it can be permanent). The charge for the signature pedicure went through instead of the naked pedicure, staff were very quick to spot the error but informed us that they cannot process refunds in store and it would need to go through customer service.

Customer service are refusing a refund and instead offering a store credit. Why would I return to a store that breaches consumer rights? A shame as the staff and ambience was lovely, and up until their refusal to refund my card I would have been happy to return, as the naked procedures where still very good.

Second time in a row I have booked a Manicure/Pedicure (before a holiday) and they have cancelled one of the services on the day. Really infuriating especially when booked months in advance. I appreciate staff illness can’t be helped however there should be contingencies in place/cover. Really disappointed and now caused further stress trying to arrange this treatment elsewhere with limited time

I still love the vibe and the ease of booking but the new gel polish is a disaster. Have had three instances of it peeling right off within two weeks of being applied. Whole nails left naked, underlying nail weakened. Have also had some pretty poor applications by trainees. And the marketing never stops - I got mine done three days ago, today I get the “it’s been three weeks since your last manicure” text, hit the opt out (as I’ve done prior), then immediately get the same message by email. Opt out again.

So happy with my holiday nails done by Holly, such an incredible nail tech!

Lovely space, relaxing experience & beautiful work.

I was so excited to have my graduation nail appointment, and I'd saved money for it, but I left upset and in tears. I felt disrespected and scammed.
My polish did not even last past the exit door. I waited for half an hour, but the polish just won't dry, because it was applied way too thick and only half of some of my toes were painted anyways. Despite showing them the completely damaged pedicure, they gaslighted me saying it's normal.
I booked the Signature Pedicure - Performance Polish - UV Top Coat for extended wear, gel-like shine, faster drying.... The staff told me that I can complain online but apparently there is no guarantee on this. I really feel misled.
I am not interested in the flawless guarantee, because it will be too late, and it was for a very important event for me. I also don't trust that they will do the job better next time.
Truly truly disappointing.
