I first invested in Trine in 2017
I first invested in Trine in 2017, slowly increasing the amount invested, & without fail a 3rd of my invested capital has been returned so far. I'm really happy with the way they are transparent about the impact of the loans, it's a great platform that runs smoothly, I've recommended to anyone who's interested in ethical investments.

I honestly think this is one of the…
I honestly think this is one of the best companies on the planet right now. I only wish they could scale faster and do even more. I have been investing through Trine privately and through my company Planetary Stewardship for about four years. Not only do they provide a vital service for humanity, they give you a return on your investment and the user interface is clear and funky. Go Trine!

Jag älskar när det blir win-win-win situation där jag investerar pengar och får ränta, pengarna används till förnybar energi och annat bra, sen har utvecklingsländer möjlighet att utvecklas med hjälp av mina pengar. I've been investing through Trine since…
I've been investing through Trine since 2017, after other companies stopped offering the opportunity to directly invest in renewable energy to small investors and focused on large institutional investors.
The site works very well and the new option to automatically diversify investments is handy. The option I miss is to auto reinvest the repayments received. On the other hand it makes me come back to take a look at the investment opportunities once in a while.
I like the ability to invest in energy transition abroad, as it gives people in Africa, Asia and South-America the opportunity to leapfrog beyond fossil fuels and beyond the internal combustion engine too.
I've had some bad luck with lendors not being able to repay their loans, but that's part of the game. I diversify and spread my investments.

It's either 5 star reviews or 1 star reviews. And I get both. For me it's an BIG win with a little money that I don't really need anyways.
If I would invest these 200 Euro somewhere else maybe the payback would be greater, but that would be money I still don't really need.
So I reinvest what money I have and make an impact.
I wish more people would do the same!

Good feeling
I love the fact that I know what I'm investing in and the fact that they estimate how much CO2 that has been avoided. More solar energy in the world is what we need. I've invested since 2017 and it's been going smoothly. Of course I know there are some risks, but I only invest sums that I can afford taking a risk with. But no problems so far. On Trine you can choose various types of loans to invest in, and I really like that they connect it to the sustainability goals. Hoping for more loans that go directly to installation in private homes in the future. Feels like you make a real difference...

With a small amount of money you can do a big impact.
With a small amount of money you can do a big inpact for the environment. To get intrest is just a bonus. I personally reinvest the money in new projects to make even bigger impact. I have been investing in different project since 2018. The investment is not risk free, but no one is. The Trine team always do their best to support you as an investor if the project/company you invest in, are facing problem.
