Spam with emails and ridiculous reminders every second to not show up on the meeting and then having the audacity to send automated emails to see they are waiting while they are not there. Everything is automated and they don't give a shit. Very misleading.

We commissioned Webtec for a full website redesign and were initially impressed by their responsiveness and sales pitch. They promised a first draft within two weeks and agreed to a staged payment plan, where additional payments would only be taken after we were shown progress.
However, a month later, we have yet to receive any semblance of a draft. The communication has gone from "the first draft will be with you imminently" to excuses about the web designer being on medical leave. Despite this, they have still taken further payment without delivering any work. To make matters worse, their team has now completely stopped responding to our emails entirely, including our emails regarding sending back the money that should not have been taken from our account.
Our website is time-sensitive, and every day of delay is costing us money. This experience is becoming incredibly frustrating, time consuming and we feel really let down, especially as the main reason we comissioned Webtec was due to their initial responsiveness. Webtec were supposed to be an all in one easy solution. We strongly advise others to think twice before trusting Webtec with their business. We are now having to liaise with our bank to prevent further payments being taken whilst we await any form of response from Webtec.
21.03.2025 - Following on from our initial review Webtec then contacted us and apologised, we give them the benefit and continued, however they have reverted back to being unresponsive. We were told they would provide further updates on Wednesday and we took time out of our diary (cost us time and money) and they were a no show, they then said Friday (we took further time out of diary costing us time and financial loss) and again a no show. Honestly, feel really upset with ourselves for not doing our research into these guys, we are a small business and are trying our best to do well, but just feel really down now. i am very pleased with everything delivered to us and their assistance in helping us put our website too were it belongs. From outset, their responsiveness and professionalism has been nothing but excellent. They know their thing and are very fast to address any issues. HUGELY expensive and very slow compared to others. Then constantly bombarded me with emails / Texts even though I had told them I was going to another developer. Shop around, they quoted me £6000 to start then said on the call could do it at half.
