I first spoke to a member of the Tubz Brands sales team in July 2025 as I was interested in their Franchise opportunity. In 1997 I had been involved in a vending Franchise. Two months after starting the parent company collapsed. Tubz Brands have been established since 2000. From the outset I have been impressed by the friendliness of the staff, the integrity that they showed in all my dealings with them, as well as the hard work they put in. They are a company and people who do what they say and more. They are a real pleasure to work with. Thank you all and please keep excelling in all that you do

Website easy to negotiate. Orders easy to do and got email straight away to confirm order. Payment was secure and easy to follow. Goods received within 2 days and everything was as expected. Very good company to order from.

Great pots of sweets . Perfect for the tubz machine

Ordered 4 packs of pringles. Poorly handled and all smashed to pieces inside. Customer service refusing to do anything and I want to return them. They told me they are still edible but unfortunately I dont want to sit there trying to pick up little smashed bits of pringles! I didnt pay for smashed pringles. Its not acceptable and their customer service were unhelpful and didnt care.

Save your money, there's no profit in this busy fool / gig worker 'franchise'.

Still paying off the crippling debt. £20k wasted and nothing to show for it.

I vended Tubz sweets and pringles for 18 months and you need to calculate the actual net profit that each tower or machine will deliver and approx. how often.

Otherwise, you can end up in serious debt with next to no income.The sweets wholesale between 30p and 45p + VAT (which you can't claim back because you can't charge VAT).

If there's a fault with a machine or a technical problem, they don't want to know.

There are NO technical people to talk to at Tubz HQ, the account managers just refer you to some old DIY videos on the Tubz website.

If a tub gets stuck in the barrel, (which happens almost daily) it often means taking the tower segments apart and refilling it with stock on site - which takes up valuable time and effort, plus it's embarrassing in a packed pub or venue.

Plus all of the sweet tubs scatter everywhere when the segments are removed.

Kids often jam the coin mechs with other coins or anything that will fit which means taking out the mech and unjamming it - more time you can't get back. More hassle and time you'll never get back.

After all costs including stock, delivery, fuel, car depreciation, the compulsory 20% commission YOU HAVE TO PAY to the venue manager everytime you cash up and income tax (if you ever breach the threshold that is) .... a sold out tower delivers a maximum of approx. £25 max. with a mix of premium and cheaper sweets.

Siting is a problem too. Most breweries have banned them from their pubs including Ember Inns, Sizzling pubs, Heineken Star, Stonegate, Hungry Horse, Punch, etc.

And if you're anywhere near the West Midlands region, don't bother. I know four vendors in the area with hundreds of sites each. It's saturated. Territories aren't given. There could be two vendors on your street already and Tubz wouldn't tell you. They just want your cash.

Some years ago, Tubz sold the exclusive rights (for several ££££) to a handful of vendors to site towers in all Marstons pubs. So you can't site a tower in a Marston pub and if you do, Tubz will demand you take it out.

How is that a fair franchising model i.e. ring fencing hundreds of UK pubs to a handful of cash rich vendors?! Tubz proposed the same model in 2024 to Greene King but couldn't agree terms.

If you use your personal vehicle, get ready for constant bills for tyres, suspension, servicing and plenty of other costly wear and tear due to all the mileage and weight in the car. Mine was a wreck once I'd jacked it in.

Plus there's all the faffing around counting pound coins and having to get them changed and physically paid into a bank etc. Most banks only let you pay in £200 in coins per day.

I had approx. 70 sweets towers and 10 Pringles towers across 68 sites and was working 6-7 days a week and clocked 20,000 miles and was permanently knackered.

The income after all costs was barely enough to pay essential household bills. I had to take a long mortgage break to keep a roof over my head and got into a lot of crippling debt. My house was at risk more than once.

Inflation will catch up with Tubz soon and the wholesale price of the sweets and toys will continue to increase for vendors.

This means there will soon be even less profit in the current retail price of £1 for vendors.

Tubz has been selling sweets and toys for £1 retail for years, while the wholesale price keeps creeping up for vendors. They have no choice because the towers only vend £1 coins.

All the current sweets and toy tower coin mechs ONLY take £1 coins, so they'll have to make a 2 x £1, mech which will most likely be chargeable and you'll have to retro fit them to all your towers yourself.

Plus no one will pay £2 for a tub of 10 mini eggs. The Pringles towers already charge £2 for a mini tub and they barely sell.
Skittles tubs are 54p wholesale not including all the other overheads.

Avoid, unless you don't mind being a busy fool and spending every penny you have for zero return!

Ordered a sofa and chair 16/05, stated 4 weeks. Still no specific date for delivery. Mostly automated responses by email. The emails initiated by my good self.
Poor service.
