Poor platform.

Another platform I thought was decent, but which ultimately disappointed me.
There’s no provision for repurchasing expired securities. I won’t go into further detail: there’s a very clear explanation below my comment. Avoid investing here—it’s unreliable.

I’m still waiting to see what they’ll do with the Vietnamese securities, but there’s no word. Terrible management.

There’s no point in deleting reviews; they serve to protect users.

TWINO is a scam

TWINO is a scam. They have made sure, I don’t login to the platform and don’t open their emails. They made sure I am a “sleeper”. This is what users like me are called. Then they sent me an email (I hopefully won’t receive or open) announcing that from next month on they will charge me for inactivity. They will charge 10€ each month for not using the platform.

If you receive an email like this or have any other issues with this platform, contact your local financial authorities.

I’m based in Germany, so I will contact BaFin and the Verbraucherzentrale for awareness and an official complaint.

As TWINO is regulated in Latvia by Latvijas Banka, it is also important to contact them.

Incompetence and impotence

So I bought a lot of Vietnamese investments in the secondary market. They were all marked (and still are!) as active. Even though the Vietnamese company is dead and insolvent. No information can be found on the website. Their communication with investors is through emails that you may or may not even receive. But who cares?They don't. Don't recommend using Twino to anyone. Everything they touch turns to shit.

First, regarding Russian loans — we provided a solution to all affected investors. Emails were sent individually to each client, with the first communication issued on January 27, 2026, followed by several reminders. In addition, notifications were displayed as banners within clients’ profiles to ensure the information was clearly visible.

Second, concerning the inactivity fee — it is important to clarify how it works. If your portfolio consists of delayed loan securities and you do not hold an uninvested available balance, no inactivity fee is applied. The fee is only charged when funds remain uninvested in your account for more than six months. However, clients can withdraw their funds at any time. In simple terms, you always have the option to either invest or withdraw your available balance to avoid the inactivity fee.

Regarding account security, we apply standard password requirements along with an optional two-factor authentication (2FA) feature to provide an additional layer of protection. If you experience any difficulties, our client support team is always happy to assist at info@twino.eu.

Es gibt eine Inaktivitätsgebühr - die auch nachträglich auf bestehende Kunden angewendet wird. Diese gilt für Guthaben, selbst wenn sie so gering sind, dass sie gar nicht ausbezahlt werden können. Im Grunde wird man gezwungen das Geld immer weiter zu veranlagen.

Inaktivitätsgebühr frisst Guthaben

Ich konnte bisher nichts Negatives sagen, war aber auch bereits seit 2024 dabei, mein Portfolio bei Twino zu entsparen. Da die Investitionen nur kleckerweise in kleinen Beträgen zurückflossen, habe ich mich natürlich nicht jeden Monat eingeloggt, um mir 1-2 € auszahlen zu lassen.

Als ich mir nun dieses Wochenende mal wieder meine gesamten Auszahlungen überweisen lassen wollte, musste ich feststellen, dass mir von meinem über Monate angesammelten Guthaben von ca. 15 € eine Inaktivitätsgebühr von 10 € abgezogen worden war (die Gebühr wird seit Neuestem und monatlich erhoben).

Angeblich war man darüber per E-Mail informiert worden, ich habe aber keine erhalten. Vielleicht ist sie auch im Spam gelandet, was aber zumindest komisch wäre, weil andere Mails von Twino ja auch ankamen. Nachprüfen kann ich es nicht mehr, Spam wird bei mir nach 2 Wochen gelöscht.

Was aber bei mir angekommen ist: Wer die Plattform verlassen will, wird dafür bestraft. "Twino wird von der Bank von Lettland lizenziert und beaufsichtigt" ist nichts als eine leere Floskel. Eine Bank hätte meine Zustimmung zu der Gebühr einholen müssen, Twino musste das offenbar nicht.

Der Support hat übrigens so reagiert: "Diese Situation wäre nicht eingetreten, wenn die freien Mittel weniger als 15 % des gesamten Kontowerts betragen hätten oder in den letzten sechs Monaten aktive Investitionen erfolgt wären."

War ich mir vorher noch nicht sicher, würde ich nun definitiv nicht wieder bei Twino investieren.

Einige Anleger lassen Gelder über längere Zeiträume auf ihren Konten, ohne neue Investitionen zu tätigen. Dennoch erfordern diese Konten weiterhin laufende operative Unterstützung sowie regulatorische und berichtsbezogene Aufsicht. Aus diesem Grund wurde die Inaktivitätsgebühr eingeführt.

Kündigung ignoriert

Ich habe meinen Account bereits am 25.10.2025 mit sofortiger Wirkung gekündigt und zwar bevor eine Inaktivitätsgebühr fällig wurde. Ich habe bisher keine Kündigungsbestätigung erhalten. Ich habe keinen Cent auf meinem Account und auch keine Investitionen. Ich möchte bei Twino nicht mehr investieren. Twino ignoriert meine Kündigung und berechnet mir eine Inaktivitätsgebühr. Wenn ich nicht einen Stern geben müsste, dann hätte ich garkeinen Stern vergeben. Ich habe in der Kündigung alle meine Daten korrekt angegeben. Hier kann man nicht von einem funktionierenden Kundenservice sprechen. Sich ignorant den Kunden gegenüber zu verhalten, ist das aller letzte und dann noch eine Gebühr zu berechnen ist ohne Worte.Ich kann Twino niemandem empfehlen. Ich werde wohl rechtliche Schritte einleiten.
