THEY SUBSCRIBE YOU WITHOUT LETTING YOU KNOW.
THE DVLA SITE IS FREE...THIS SITE MAKES YOU THINK IT IS THE DVLA SITE BUT IT ISN'T.
THEY TAKE MONEY EACH MONTH...I HAD TO CHANGE MY BANK CARD TO PRVENT THEM FROM CONTINUING TO DO THIS.
THESE SITES GET AWAY WITH IT BY SOME STRANGE TECHNICALITY HOWEVER, THEY OBSTRUCT THE LAW BY CHANRGING FOR A FREE SERVICE...MAKING PEOPLE WITH LOW INCOMES PUT OF CHANGING DETAILS ON THEIR DRIVING LICENCE.
PLEASE ALL REPORT TO THE POLICE IF YOU GET SCAMMED...IF ENOUGH PEOPLE COMPLAIN...THE LAW WILL CHANGE TO PREVENT COMPANIES LIKE THESE GETTING AWAY WITH STEALING OUR MONEY!

Googled ‘DVLA Change of Address’ and this site comes up as the first search result as it is a ‘sponsored’ result. The link takes you into a form that looks very similar to the DVLA site. Unknowingly used their service. Was charged 2 months in a row as by using their service it automatically subscribes you to a monthly payment of £39. Spoke to them after the second payment and they said I had clicked a box agreeing to subscribe (which I hadn’t clearly been made aware of). I have not received any kind of confirmation of payment from the initial amount, confirmation of membership, confirmation of renewal or anything to confirm this company were holding my details - the only email I’ve had was the official DVLA email confirming my address had been changed at the original time of completing the application. The phone advisor was extremely rude when I explained they had deceived me, he interrupted me then proceeded to tell me to ‘let him finish’ as he cut me off - he gave me the email address for their ‘complaints team’ though having emailed them I have received nothing in the way of acknowledgements or attempt to resolve my issue which I linked to the Customer Consumer Act 2015. I have no requested against GDPR that they remove all information on my however I’m not confident anything will happen so I have cancelled my bank card. I am now £80 short for what should have cost less than £20. Unsure how else to report this company but will continue to look into it - they don’t appear to be registered through companies house. Avoid at all costs.

Do not use this website, it is overpriced and they will subscribe you into a monthly subscription without you knowing, then without getting any services you will be paying 39 a month till you realise it on your statements, once you do realise and contact them, they will treat you like you just need to accept the facts, they will easily cancel your subscription but won't refund you any money for it, plus the arrogance and sarcasm over the phone is unacceptable

I recently renewed my licence via the DVLA website. I as unaware that i had been diverted to the UK Drive.com website throughout the application process. UK Drive debited £39 from my bank account on 3rd Sept and another £39 on the 3rd Oct. I have not authorised or approved these payments and have certainly not authorised a monthly standing order. I have tried to call UK drive but i am cut off and cannot get through, so i went to by bank to report a fraud / scam. My bank have cancelled any future payments and i am now awaiting whether my £78 is to be credited back to me. I have not received any texts or emails from this company and as such i have no reason to doubt they are scammers / fraudsters.
The DVLA should now be looking into this..

Wanted to change my address on my driving license and started getting charged monthly payments of £39. Luckily my bank gave me mine back but still worst part is it was the DVLA website that diverted me there!!

When I logged on Google to DVLA And was informed the cost was £14 but as
soon as I got to payment it said £39
I was renewing my licence because it had expired
Was surprised when I was charged £39 the next month on my statement
I called the company and they told me I had subscribed to the company
I asked why would I subscribed as my licence does not expire every month
They refused to refund me and said they had cancelled my subscription

This company is a SCAM!!! I checked my bank and saw a second debit from my account. When I renewed my license I thought I was in the DVLA portal. I have cancelled a subscription that I did not know i was signing up to. PLEASE BE AWARE.

TOTAL SCAM is what this company is! I google searched DVLA change of address and was mis-lead to thinking this was a legitimate DVLA site. I was charged £39 to change my address on my driving licence and then discovered 1 x month later that I had actually entered into a monthly subscription (No email confirmation received).
I rang and spoke to an operator who informed me they don’t issue a confirmation email but that you do get a 14 day cooling off period but unfortunately I was out of that period! I told him I had been completely mis-lead and that I wanted a full refund for the two £39 transactions but he informed me he wasn’t able to do that and there was no manager available to speak to me. The operator then hung up on me! They should not be allowed to mis-lead people like this. AVOID!!!

THIS COMPANY IS A COMPLETE AND UTTER RIP-OFF STEALING MONEY, £39.00 EVERY MONTH FROM YOUR BANK ACCOUNT WITHOUT YOU KNOWING. THEY GO UNDER THE DISGUISE OF DVLA.

do not get SCAMMED by this company. The renewal license costs £19 however, this company charges £39. It’s NOT a one off payment. It’s a reoccurring payment. To renew your driving license please use the official website.

Please don't apply for any driving licence, not for new,not for renewal this site is a scam.We got scam 2 time. So be aware

Basically theft & fraud! It’s bullsh*t and ridiculously misleading!! Took £78 but for two subscriptions as I paid for partners change of address when I didn’t need to as it should be free!!

Total scam. A company liked this should not be working as a third party for a legitimate government operation.
Although they legitimately process UK driving licence changes, they cunningly take a recurring payment from your account for what should be a one off payment.
I wonder how many have missed this and have continued to pay for a service they do not get.

I have a pending payment for uk drive.com. Never heard of them? Called straight away and spoke to Jackie who said she cancelled my membership and sent me an email stating this. I am uncomfortable with this as she couldn’t tell me the address of the head office and couldn’t provide me the office address based in Scotland either.

Take your money with out asking changed address on my licence and they sign you up with out asking poor company awaiting my refund

This website is an absolute scam. Like many others, I genuinely thought I was on the official DVLA site. All I wanted to do was change the address on my driving licence, and somehow, without my knowledge, I ended up with a direct debit for £39 a month. Seriously?! I called to cancel as soon as I realized, and while they said they’d process it and even sent me a confirmation email, they still took another £39 the very next day. When I called again to ask for a refund, the operator had the nerve to hang up on me! Just a heads-up, this service is actually free on the real DVLA site. And to top it all off, my new license never even arrived. Total rip-off!

As per many other reviews of this company, I thought I was on DVLA website, I had no idea I had set up a direct debit for £39/month, all I was doing was changing address on driving licence. I called to cancel account, which they accepted and sent confirmation email but proceeded to take another £39 the following day? I called to request a refund and the operator hung up on me! Be careful, this service is free from the DVLA. To add insult to injury my new license never arrived??

The site has very poor customer service and they pretend to be DVLA site....how are scam sites like these allowed to Rob the public....disgrace to UK allowed to use this nation name in front of there company UK- Drive.com poor customer service when trying to deal with them. Would have -10 if I could.
