Received my Sneaker Serie5 today, absolutely love them. The care that goes in packing them tells so much about this company. I have been buying from them since 2022 and keep seeing the same level of quality. Consistency is hard to maintain. keep up the great Work!

Series 4 trainers - there is nothing that holds the tongue in place so it will drift down and sideways while wearing them and is very annoying. Not something you want on a £200 pair of trainers.

EDIT: In response to their comment that I told them I have other footwear that the tongue drifts on so it must be my feet which are the problem - they didn't mention that I told them this happens on other high tops I have which also don't have the little band on the tongue which the laces are fed through to keep the tongue in place. That is the problem with the series 4; they don't have the tongue keeper. Any other high tops I have which do have the tongue keeper don't give me the issue where the tongue drifts away during wear.

Nach langer Recherche habe ich mich bewusst für Uniform Standard entschieden – nicht trotz, sondern gerade wegen der Markenphilosophie. Hochwertige Materialien, zeitloses Design und der Verzicht auf permanente Rabattaktionen haben mich überzeugt.

Ich bestellte ein Paar Series 1 Double Navy Suede in Größe 44. Entsprechend der Empfehlung auf der Website wählte ich im Zweifel die größere Größe. Die Lieferung erfolgte schnell und die Schuhe machten sofort einen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck.

Nach der Anprobe in der Wohnung und einem kurzen Treppenlauf zur Überprüfung der Passform stellte ich fest, dass die Schuhe zu groß waren. Noch am selben Tag bestellte ich dieselben Schuhe eine Nummer kleiner, da ich sie unbedingt behalten wollte. Das zweite Paar passt hervorragend und ich trage es bis heute sehr gerne.

Leider begann an diesem Punkt meine Enttäuschung.

Durch den kurzen Treppenlauf waren offenbar zwei kleine Schrammen an der Laufsohle entstanden. Uniform Standard lehnte deshalb jede Erstattung vollständig ab. Begründet wurde dies damit, dass die Schuhe nicht mehr als Neuware verkauft werden könnten und deshalb wirtschaftlich ihren gesamten Verkaufswert verloren hätten.

Den Ton der ersten E-Mail empfand ich als unnötig vorwurfsvoll und wenig kundenorientiert. Die weitere Kommunikation mit Mitgründer Stephen war dagegen sachlich, verständnisvoll und professionell. Während des gesamten Austauschs wurde ausdrücklich bestätigt, dass man mir keinen Missbrauch des Rückgaberechts unterstellt und anerkennt, dass ich die passende Größe unmittelbar nachbestellt sowie die Schuhe nicht im Freien getragen habe.

Dennoch blieb Uniform Standard bei der Forderung eines vollständigen Wertersatzes. Zusätzlich erhielt ich eine Frist von 30 Tagen, die Schuhe gegen Versandkosten von über 60 € zurückzuerhalten. Nach Ablauf dieser Frist würden sie gespendet oder entsorgt. Dieses Vorgehen empfand ich angesichts des vollständigen Kaufpreisverlustes als wenig kundenorientiert.

Ich kann die wirtschaftlichen Argumente des Unternehmens nachvollziehen und respektiere, dass Uniform Standard seine Retourenpolitik konsequent anwendet. Gleichzeitig halte ich einen vollständigen Wertersatz aufgrund der gezeigten Gebrauchsspuren weiterhin für unverhältnismäßig.

Meine Kritik richtet sich ausdrücklich nicht gegen die Qualität der Schuhe oder die grundsätzliche Retourenpolitik. Beides war letztlich der Grund, weshalb ich mich überhaupt für diese Marke entschieden habe. Meine Kritik richtet sich ausschließlich gegen die fehlende Bereitschaft, in einem aus meiner Sicht ehrlichen und nachvollziehbaren Einzelfall eine kulante Lösung zu finden.

Gerade im Premiumsegment endet das Markenerlebnis für mich nicht mit dem Produkt. Ein Premiumprodukt verdient auch einen Premiumservice. Ich hatte den Eindruck, dass die konsequente Durchsetzung der Retourenpolitik einen höheren Stellenwert hatte als die Chance, einen langfristigen Kunden zu gewinnen.

Das bedaure ich sehr, weil mich Produktqualität und Markenphilosophie nach wie vor überzeugen und ich bereits weitere Modelle der Marke ins Auge gefasst hatte. Das Vertrauen, künftig ohne ein aus meiner Sicht unverhältnismäßiges wirtschaftliches Risiko online bestellen zu können, ist für mich jedoch verloren gegangen. Deshalb werde ich von weiteren Käufen bei Uniform Standard Abstand nehmen.

Zurück bleibt für mich ein hochwertiges Paar Sneaker, an dem ich hoffentlich viele Jahre Freude haben werde. Gleichzeitig wird dieses Produkt für mich immer mit einem Kundenerlebnis verbunden sein, das ich mir von einer Premiummarke anders gewünscht hätte.

I went into the store multiple times and Stephen, Ezra and all the other staff were always very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Took multiple people into the store to show them the products and they were all instantly convinced really something special.
