First time booking with GRJ
First time I've dealt with GRJ but a friend suggested I try you. A very pleasant man called Paul took me through the whole process in 15 minutes. He was clearly spoken , answered all my questions to my satisfaction and at no time did I feel hurried or stressed or pushed to buy add ons I did not want. He was cheerful and he ended our booking with a wish to enjoy my holiday.Very impressive compared to some of your competition !

Easy to book online but as someone who books at least 2 or 3 times a year it would be great if Great Rail would give people like this an account to save keep repeating the same info each time. I’ve given one star temporarily so that I get a response but they’re really a five star company and I’ll change it once I get a response.

Booking Experience
Helpful and prompt advice from Lin when I rang to book our next holiday, the cruise from Passau to Budapest in September 2027. She identified the discounts to which we were entitled as a past customer, and shared her own cruise experiences as a guest and as a member of staff.

Premium is not premium with GRJ
Booked and paid for a Premium Great Rail holiday and it was far from Premium. Often left without breakfast options being planned as trains left early. Given the cost of the trip and a tour manager travelling too, we felt that should have been planned for us (even if it was at an extra cost). Instead we were told there is a supermarket down the street, grab some snacks the night before! Certain elements were amazing, but that was all down to the beautiful Country visited and not from Tour Operator. Filled in a survey after the trip and my issues were not followed up. Bucket list trip - GRJ over promised and under delivered. Disappointing.
