This was a well-planned trip to Spain with a most enjoyable itinerary.
This was a well-planned trip with a varied and enjoyable itinerary. The travel and hotels were all good, and we especially enjoyed the walks and cultural visits. The visit to the Dali Museum and the lunch in a winery were highlights. We also enjoyed the company of the group and swimming in the sea after the outings. The tour manager was very professional and good company and the walking and cultural guides were all excellent also.

Effortless booking process and ver accommodating to changes.
The rep worked with us to remove a day from the trip due to vacation availability and assisted with booking the rest of our party efficiently.
The only concern is that we were told it woukd be 1-2 weeks before our trip is 100% confirmed which seems lengthy.

Straightforward booking experience by phone
Spoke to Margaret at GR to book a holiday for 2027. Booking was very straightforward quickly followed up by an email with details of the trip and how to access their portal on line.

The first time I called
The first time I called, I spoke to a gentleman who gave me some incorrect information and didn't know as much about the information on their website as I did. When I called back to ask more questions and book, I spoke to a young lady, Renaja, who was very helpful, very knowledgeable, even gave me information on hotels and Chicago traffic. She was very pleasant.

First time booking with GRJ
First time I've dealt with GRJ but a friend suggested I try you. A very pleasant man called Paul took me through the whole process in 15 minutes. He was clearly spoken , answered all my questions to my satisfaction and at no time did I feel hurried or stressed or pushed to buy add ons I did not want. He was cheerful and he ended our booking with a wish to enjoy my holiday.Very impressive compared to some of your competition !

Easy to book online but as someone who books at least 2 or 3 times a year it would be great if Great Rail would give people like this an account to save keep repeating the same info each time. I’ve given one star temporarily so that I get a response but they’re really a five star company and I’ll change it once I get a response.
