Einfach unglaublich was sich der Laden da leistet.
Versenden falsche Größe, sind weder über Email noch über die angegebene Telefonnummer erreichbar. Retoure Kosten, wenn möglich, auch bei Falschlieferung, muss selbst gezahlt werden.....
Ich denke, ein Stern ist hier zu viel als Bewertung.

Unglaublich dieser Laden. Hab einen Hut bestellt und Expressversand bezahlt. Nicht nur, dass die Versandbenachrichtigung erst nach knapp einer Woche kam.
Irgendwann bekam ich die Benachrichtigung von den Hutkaspern, dass der Paketzusteller mein Haus, das wöchentlich von Hermes beliefert wird, nicht gefunden werden kann. Ich solle mit Hermes Kontakt aufnehmen. die Paketverfolgungsnummer von Hermes war falsch und nach Rücksprache mit Hermes hat sich herausgestellt, dass nie ein Paket mit Hermes unterwegs war. Komisch oder?
Nach zähem Emailverkehr konnte ich erreichen, dass der Verkauf rückabgewickelt und meine Bezahlung erstattet wird.
Die Erstattung erfolgte über einen Monat später und selbstverständlich hat man die Versandkosten einbehalten.
Betrüger!

Ordered a hat and paid next day delivery with dpd.
My delivery never came the driver never even tried to deliver, took my package back to the main depot and then was told to wait 4 days on top the the 3 days I had already been waiting for.

I called village hats spoke to a French guy called casper and he was rude and very unhelpful.

I record all my phone calls and I wish I could upload the conversation so others can hear how this company runs.

They tried to charge me for sending the package back though I never received anything.

Told them due to not receiving a product I had paid for I requested a full refund with delivery cost sent to dpd for failure of delivery.

I am not paying for something I've never received yet I had originally paid for next day delivery.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from staff and failed company with alot of problems clearly. You only have to read these reviews to see there is a big problem with the village hats staff and dpd as a poor courier service.

Under legal sales rights and consumer law the company have a right to fully refund a sale that was failed on there part.

I strongly recommend others buy a digital voice recorder so as to record your phone calls so when things like this happen you the buyer has a leg to stand on...

Enough is enough now its time people make a stand against being ripped off

Wenn man hier bei der Bewertung weniger als einen Stern vergeben könnte, würde ich das tun. Der in korrekter Größe bestellte Hut kam heute an - und ist mindestens eine Nummer zu klein, das Etikett im Hut damit falsch. Die Hutkrempe ist schief geschnitten, d.h. sie ist nicht gleichmäßig breit. Kann man deutlich sehen! Der Hut ist also zu klein und außerdem fehlerhaft (unregelmäßig breite Krempe).
Ein Rücksende-Etikett fehlt. Die Kundendienst-Hotline ist nicht erreichbar. Aus dem Kleingedruckten der beigelegten Rechnung geht hervor, dass ich als Kunde die Rücksendekosten tragen soll! Und das für ein erkennbar fehlerhaftes Produkt!
Eine Rücksende-Adresse sucht man auf der Rechnung übrigens vergeblich ... Ich bin sehr, sehr verärgert und werde bei diesem Anbieter nie wieder etwas kaufen.

On time, smart appearance and courteous

Ordered a hat that cost $43.66 as a gift. The hat ended up being too big for the recipient. The store makes you cover your own shipping for returns. So even though the hat weighed almost nothing, it was a bigger box due to the style of the hat. To ship it back for a "return" cost me $33 (which, per the return instructions, was the cheapest option available). So I'll get less than $10 back. I ended up ordering the hat in the correct size from a different retailer, so I've essentially bought this hat 3 times. I'm beyond unhappy with my experience with this shop.

My order never arrived, the tracking service is useless.
DO NOT buy anything from them. Scam

I bought two hats from village hat shop for the Black Friday sale. One was a corduroy kangol hat and the other a wool newsboy cap. Both came nicely packaged and in perfect condition. I was a bit nervous because I only saw negative reviews after I placed my order but my experience with village hat shop was positive despite what other reviews say. I will be happy to purchase from village hat shop again!

When I was in San Diego in June 2022, I was recommended the store for a Fedora hat. A Staff member explained every hat and got the light brown Fedora I was looking for. I just found the stores site online and ordered the white and black including the feathers.
I'm currently in Philadelphia and received them quick. I definitely recommend this place for purchasing a Fedora hat.

Good experience with this company, ordered hat, turns out I ordered wrong type, so instant refund, plus reordered new hat arrived in 3 days, happy with new hat, thank you village hats Les , Devon

Absolutely terrible customer services. My parcel never arrived, when I approached the company, I was treated as though I was lying! All I wanted was a new hat sent out or ultimately a refund. Very very poor service. When things go right all is well, when things go wrong do not expect any help whatsoever. There should be a law against it. Do not use this compan

I had a decent experience offering a bucket hat. That said, I didn't have to send the hat back. Looking into buying a second hat from them I realised you have to pay your own postage (almost £5) to return the hat. For a £20 hat it's a big chunk of the value to essentially try on a hat and realise it's not right for you.

So I guess that's my note of caution.

Phoned up Village Hats after having placed an order for a Dorfman Pacific as had subsequently read about them coming up quite big. I got through immediately and the person I spoke to was extremely helpful as he went and measured the particular hat, then gave me the option to cancel the order or let it arrive and see how it fits in person. Glad I chose to stick with it as it is a great quality hat that fits really well and is exactly what I was looking for.

Leider wird eine Rücksendung da der Hut zu klein ist vom System abgelehnt, Auf der Hotline ist ein durchkommen unmöglich.

The hat was good quality but didn't fit. It was only then that I realised you have to PAY to return the hat for a refund. Won't bother buying from them again. £4.65 not well spent.

Ich habe eine Schiebermütze für mein Baby zur Taufe geordert und dafür happige 5 Euro Versand bezahlt .Die Mütze wurde verspätet geliefert und nebenbei völlig überteuert und die Qualität ist den Preis bei Weitem nicht wert . Bei der Retourenanfrage erlebte ich dann eine weitere Überraschung denn neben der extrem umständlichen Abwicklung ( kein Retourenschein im Paket, Weiterleitung auf eine externe Website mit erneuter Eingabe der Daten)wurde ich dazu aufgefordert 3,90 Euro direkt via Paypal oder Kreditikarte zu zahlen an Retourenkosten.Erst dann konnte ich den Retourenschein ausdrucken .Und das obwohl auf dem beigelegten Lieferschein explizit steht dass nur „internationale Kunden „ die Versandkosten übernehmen sollen. Da ich kein Internationaler Kunde bin und ich das Paket auch an eine deutsche Adresse zurück schicken soll fehlt mir leider dafür jegliches Verständnis.

Rücksendungen sind selbst zu bezahlen und dann liegen sie wochenlang irgendwo im Lager herum, somit gibt es auch wochenlang keine Erstattung.
Kommunikation über Telefon ist auch nicht möglich, obwohl es angeboten wird.........
In Zukunft kaufe ich woanders und zahle lieber 10 € mehr für die Mütze.

I ordered three flat caps and a newsboy hat. I had to send one hat back that was too small and had to pay for shipping and also read that all the hats were made in China. Not what I expected.
