I backed the Nobel 2.0 on Kickstarter in April —two chairs — with great excitement to receive these in June. After months of extending the delivery timeframe due to “quality issues” and “wanting to ensure the best product” it is now December…and I am still waiting. The company stated in mid-November that the chairs would be out for delivery in the US within 10-14 days. Then, 13 days later, the company provided another update stating the chairs would be delivered in the US within 10-15 days this time. So basically they keep extending the timeframe more and more, all the while encouraging backers to look into a new product they support on Kickstarter. *snort* Not likely! I’ve sent three emails to the company, I’ve gotten ONE response, and the response did not even answer my question, it just made a vague reference to an even MORE extended wait for delivery into January. Buyer beware, this company does not have it together at all. I’m just hoping at this point that I receive this product eventually…

Easy to assemble, parts all fit. So comfortable kneeling and the rocking movement is relaxing

Okay so the chair is functionally okay, but the pads are definitely not memory foam and honestly feel a bit flimsy and cheap.

This causes a huge fundamental flaw in that your shins will get destroyed, it feels hard to sit for a substantial amount of time which defeats the purpose of the chair in the first place. I can't believe it's advertised as memory foam and what you get is clearly not...

P.s Actually I've now done some extra research looking at videos and the padding is actually not the same, the product itself looks exactly like Ergonomist's rocking chair (which is priced cheaper even after 50% off), I suspect this is a sister company for their European branch. BEWARE IF YOU ORDER IN Europe as you won't get the same chair as you see in the pictures!

Backed on April 18th Was supposed to be received in August. Then Sept. Then October. It is now November and I Still haven't received anything so I can't really review but I have tried emailing the kickstarter folks and all they say is "its on its way" but here we are getting review requests in November when I still haven't received the 2 I ordered and paid and arm and a leg in shipping for. I would NOT support this company or any of their campaigns again.

Assembly was quick with the video, only been in it a few minutes and love it already.

I finally received my Vilno Nobel 2.0 kneeling chair. I'm very excited and quite comfortable with it. Although it's a bit tiring for my back and spine, it reminds me to sit up straight. I hope this product is long-lasting and helps to strengthen my back. I highly recommend it.

I ordered two of the footrests via Kickstarter. We received them without the rubber anti slip pads and we requested those to be sent out. We had them posted to us, but only received 7 instead of 8. On 12th January I emailed and was replied to on 13th January and I was told a replacement would be sent. However, we never received a replacement. Since then I have emailed on 14th April (which I did get an auto reply to but nothing else), 10th June and 23rd June. I have not had any response.

In my email on 12th January, I gave some feedback on the footrests and I was told these were things they would definitely look into improving for the future iterations of the footstool.

We have been using the footstools for the last few months and overall they are pretty good and solid construction. However, one of the points I brought up in January was regarding the four textured rollers in the centre- what we feel is a main feature/selling point.
The issue is that, on both the footstools, a couple (mainly the bottom) roller seems to struggle to rotate as smoothly as the others. On looking at it from above, this seems to be because it is at an angle. This does affect usage (when we emailed the feedback in January we hoped it would loosen and improve) and we tend to not bother even trying to use the rollers that much because the bottom one/ones prevent smooth rotation.

Having used the footstools for the last few months, the fact the rollers don't rotate as smoothly is really frustrating and, considering the cost, disappointing.

Overall, I was fairly happy with the product and customer service to begin with. However, now, I feel the footstools were a bit overpriced and there has been a complete lack of further customer service help.

I love this chair! It keeps my back straight and I'm so used to it now. One of my best purchases! And great customer service Lisa!

Just adding in to the knee pain as suggested in a number of reviews . Requested a refund and read through the returns policy . It mentions a ‘We offer and guarantee easy returns’ agent was quick to respond alternative solution but politely requested to return . Was provided with address of return so packaged up the same day as assembly for return . Having arrived at post office for return advised the address isn’t listed on Royal Mail database so unable to send . Currently sat awaiting response but very poor experience considering the wording of website .

Yes it is pricey, but it is the only rocking chair of its kind that has a weight rating. I use this every day at work, and although it is a tiny bit tall for standard UK office furniture, it gives me so much flexibility to move around during the day and has really reduced my neck and shoulder pain as a result. The mount/dismount isn't pretty, and takes a clumsy person like me a bit to master. But honestly I wouldn't trade it for the world now. Worth every penny.

I love this chair. My friend told me about it and I wondered at first if I could sit in the design for long periods! But I’m keen on posture - and a straight back for energy flow and alertness.
And the brilliant design really does do the job. It’s really comfortable - my posture is excellent and I sit in it working for hours at a time.
I’m delighted. The chair is a game changer.
Only needed to contact customer service as I lost the invoice - and Lisa replied that same evening.
Highly recommended.

I've been trying to get used to this 'chair' since February (it is now the end of October). I bought it on a whim after seeing a '50% off limited time offer' during a bout of lumbago - the 'limited time offer' is ongoing, and so is my back pain.

Before anyone insinuates that I'm just using it wrong - please, take it out of my house, use it 'correctly' for a week or so, and get back to me with an update on how your back feels.

I've tried other, more expensive kneeling chairs before buying this one, but could not justify spending £400+. However, the ones I tried were designed better. They didn't put pressure on my knees with a badly angled seat, or a material that's too slippery.

My physio warned me that this kind of sitting position won't solve my problems, it'll just create different ones, and she was correct.

I will now be getting rid of this monstrosity, and replacing it with something with actual back support. Good riddance!

Great kneeling chair, no regrets with purchasing it. Initially it does get tiring on the shin after a while, so that takes some getting used to. Overall it's a good fit for me. Just for the record, I'm 1.73m and weigh 88kg.

Also would like to give a shout out to customer service. Lisa has been quick to answer my emails about some concerns I had. Top notch, A++!

Vilno goods come in a nice kit that feels very solid easy to put together. Had it assembled in about 35 min. Comes with extra hardware. Hardware was good but show wear quickly. Chair works well for even taller person and seat cushions were nice and thick. Would recommend.

My wife loves sitting on this chair from Vilno and reading books while rocking. The chair promotes proper posture and gives you a little workout if you rock it. My wife and l have no problems using it but l have noticed that as a guy l think more of my body weight is higher than hers and we have found that there is a point where if you lean or rock back too far you will go over, and with your legs locked in you are too, and l am able to hit that point way easier than she is. Not really something to be aware of. Overall though the chair went together well, seems to be holding up, and is liked. Overall we'd recomment it

I was hesitant to order Vilon chair and thought it wouldn't work but surprisingly it's actually really nice! My husband uses it throughout his day working at the computer. He switches He between this and a regular chair. He has found that he hasn't been struggling with neck tension as mush and is happy with it. Definitely recommend!

Box arrived crushed and ripped. Chair is not sturdy, I don’t expect it to last very long.

The chair was delivered a little after the timeframe. Take a look at previous UK reviews specifically if looking at this product as it is not the same as the US version and appears to be equivalent to significantly less expensive items on ebay even with the sale discount. The box is unbranded and several of the drill holes were misaligned with the result that the chair felt a bit unstable to start. I contacted the seller who were prompt and polite in responding and advised chair would likely settle with use which it seems to have. I needed to place the knee pads at most forward position to give space for my calves. Unless you have a thin table top without support beams, i don't think you'll be able to to store it by hooking it on to the table. I'm already a kneeling stool convert from previous experience but I haven't found this model comfortable- the wide knee version may suit people with broad frames better. In summer months I've had bare legs too and don't find the material comfortable directly against the skin

I have been looking for a more ergonomic chair for while. A lot of the other chairs claim to help with lumber support but I would still find myself slouching and rounding my shoulders. When I sit in the kneeling chair my low back is automatically put into a more upright position and feel much better than slouching in a regular office chair. It is very comfortable and the padding is thick and good quality. The chair was easy to set up and arrived at my home quickly after ordering it. I would definitely recommend! Many of my family members tried mines out and now want their own.
