I recently purchased the Vilno kneeling chair, and I have to say, I’m very impressed. The chair is beautifully crafted with high-quality materials, and it feels very sturdy and supportive. The rocking motion is a nice touch – it helps me stay focused and engaged throughout the day. But what I appreciate most about this chair is how comfortable it is. The angled shin rest and contoured seat make it easy to maintain good posture, and I’ve noticed a significant reduction in back pain since switching to this chair. I can highly recomdmend the Vilno kneeling chair to anyone looking for a comfortable, supportive, and aesthetically pleasing seating option

I asked my company to buy the chair following issues with my back. Since using the chair, my back issues have improved. I would recommend this to anyone who spends long periods sitting at their desks. If I now need to sit in a normal office chair, I find it uncomfortable and my back does begin to ache again.

Prompt delivery, easy to assemble, attractive design.

Extremely disappointed with the quality of this chair. My concerns where raised as soon as I saw the packaging, which did not feature the ‘Vilno’ company branding and didn’t match the pictures I’d seen on the company website reviews. My concerns were then realised once I started to assemble the chair:
1) The main seat cushion screw holes didn’t line up with the frame so couldn’t be attached. It seems like one side of the frame is warped.
2) The cushion and knee pads are very low quality and not as described or illustrated on the website.
3) The chair itself is a different design than what appears on the website. The top cross member at the rear beneath the cushion is missing along with the company branding.
4) Then cushion and knee pad are also a different shape vs what was described on the website.
I’ve attempted to arrange a refund as the chair is faulty, of poor quality and not as described on the website. They’re trying to make me cover the return costs, which I’m almost certain is against the UK consumer rights act so will be seeking further advice as appropriate.
Edit: I’ve now received a full refund and rightly not liable for courier costs. Whilst my review of the product stands, I will give credit for the prompt customer service and recognition from the company where they’ve done wrong.

I used this type of chair long ago in my old job to reduce the back pain. Then I changed job and I could not afford the high cost. So when it was advertised at 50% discount (still £200 = $247 = €228 from £400) I decided to buy it.
The product I received is very flimsy and low quality for the price. The seat and knee pads are badly finished and not comfortable as others egide me have noted. The wooden structure is not really solid. When I rock the knee pad tremble, not a good sign. I see that returning it is very expensive so I’ll keep it. However I wonder if the discount is fake just to induce you to buy it (in 2018 the cost of another brand was around £300. Maybe the other is a better value got money)

After reply: I appreciate the offer and I might take it as I do not feel the seat or knee pads will last long on everyday use. This does not change my judgement of a very expensive chair for the quality of the manufacturing.

After Reply II: despite the offer of sending new knee pads nothing has been sent. The knee pads are now wobbly. The chair will not last. Definitely a rip off.

I brought a kneeling chair ‘on-sale’ for £184, which I think is reasonable value. I wouldn’t have purchased at the ‘non-sale’ cost of over £400. The chair is good quality, comfortable and easily put together.

The first chair was delivered with a wrong part. I was expecting a long and tedious process to sort it out, but I received a personal email within 15 minutes of me reporting the problem and a replacement chair delivered within 2 days. Exceptional customer service (thank you Lisa Baker) and I have just ordered another chair, which says it all really.

I have suffered from really bad back cramps as a result of sitting on a normal chair all day in my office. I bought a kneeling chair and what a difference it has made! Cramps have gone, my core is improving (important for me as I am a distance unicyclist) and general comfort has improved dramatically. It is very easy and comfortable to sit on for my work day and even take it into the house now for evening times. Delivery was great too. I live in Scottish Highlands and another company I had contacted 'refused' to deliver North of Edinburgh!!!! Delivery was great, product was great, easy to assemble and it has really helped my back issue. Highly recommend product and company - thank you

The padding is not as advertised. Very uncomfortable chair

The pads on the chair were too thin for my comfort. After about 20-30 minutes of using the chair, my shins started to hurt. I can see how the sitting position and rocking would be beneficial in the long term, but the chair needs at least 2-3 times more cushioning to use comfortably. After several emails with support, I was able to get a refund for the chair. Unfortunately, due to warehousing related issues, they weren’t able to accept a return of the item. Hopefully it works out better for others than it did for me.

Really quick delivery, easy to assemble. I had a screw piece missing but a replacement was sent out no problems in the post and arrived promptly. Lovely responsive customer service- I would definitely buy again!

Posture-correcting nature of the chair is legit! Great to combine this chair with a sit-to-stand desk.

Initially, I wasn't very satisfied with my purchase as I found that the kneeling chair quality did not match what was advertised, and the price tag was too high for it was.
However, after raising my concerns to customer service, they did everything in their power to make me a happy customer. Exemplary customer service, especially coming from a small, young company!

The chair arrived on time, it was super easy to put together and I just LOVE it. I was always slouching at my desk, I find I sit up straighter and I like rocking back and forwards, using a bit or core!

Great chair, easy to setup and comes with the tool needed. Does take a little time to get used to it especially the lower half of the legs.

I love my new Vilno chair! It has totally helped my poor posture and back problems! Would thoroughly recommend to anyone else!

Kneeling chair could not be assembled. I tried for 3 hrs and then I had an engineer friend. Fairly certain the angles were cut wrong on one of the cross members. I then had an impossible time getting someone to respond. They offered very little assistance and made it impossible to returned (still not returned or refunded). Absolute disaster.

So far I am liking the seating position and can see the benefits. The rocking action is ace. As for the actual product, it feels a little 'rickety' - not all screws have been drilled for decent angles and just feels like it's not going to last (i.e., not sturdy enough).

I love my chair; very comfortable. Love being able to rock in it.

Improved my posture.. but it’s a learning curve.

I received the chair really quickly and all the screws and tools were there no problem. Ever built any think from Ikea? Well, it’s like that but faster and easier. 43 year old man with back issues and no issue building and moving the chair around. Surprised it’s so light!

Make sure you have space on the floor to build this as the unique shape of the chair legs (are they legs 🤷🏻‍♂️) will need extra space as you spin it round as you build.

The first sit was kind of like sitting on a sloped hill, you adjust yourself and think ‘huh, this feels weird but it’s okay, I’m good’ and within a couple of minutes, you are rocking and feel supported. I’m 16 stone and 6ft and no issue with this chair. Expect the shin supports to wobble and move a little. This is normal and will have some flex. I panicked when this happened first time (“Oh god, has my fas ass broke it on day one!?”) but it’s okay. Super strong and sturdy and I suffered from a slipped disc, so this chair has a lot to live up to.

Days 2-14 - I started to feel really achy. Was it the chair? Kind of. Having read a few articles before getting the chair a lot of people suggest not to instantly throw out your old traditional chair and move between the two for around 2 weeks. This really helped as my back and shins were trying to figure out what on earth was happening to them. I found sitting with my buttocks nearer the top half of the sit released the pressure as did the rocking. Within the first two weeks, I had upper back pain and shoulder blade pain as they are being ‘put back’ to the position they should be. My back is fighting with me and the new position that it’s not used to after DECADES in the old chair slouched position.

2 weeks - the old chair has gone (well, from the office at least) as I can tell my shins have adapted to the sitting style. My back too. I would say keep the old chair around for a few weeks but I started to use it less and less.

I LOVE this chair, my posture is better, my wife has noticed I walk less slouched, carry myself and my weight better and because I’m not aching, I can keep working at my desk for longer. I used to look down a lot at my desk and slump forward. No more.

Love this and WILL be getting another as my wife has her eyes on my chair! Haha

Love my Vilno! I use it in my office and I use it in my Guided Meditation sessions on the weekends.
Waiting on the stand/desk to be delivered but I know it will be perfect in my meditation room.
