They are very responsive and helpful. The team work just as it should work. Idk, I think they are just reliable and trusted. If I ever get another video that goes viral they the first one imma call

They probably deserve a rating of 1.5, but I decided to be nice and "round up" to 2. Their C2B (consumer-to-business) approach, is to encourage people to share their videos with them and make money from its sales (around %50 if I remember right). However, once you send them your content, there's no going back and they assume ownership of it, and even if they aren't monetizing and you haven't signed a contract, they will still tell you you not to use it and that they exclusively have rights to it!
It's a company that has near-zero transparency for content-submitters, an unfriendly user interface on-site (as of February 2020 one can't even see their full submitions history or details), and no respect for its users requests. Leaving this review as a warning to anyone who considers sending them their videos.

Replying back: It is, of course, understandble that you may be unable to sell videos, or that you prohibit users from sharing it with/on other places once you have sold it to a third party and shared a fair (emphasis on this word, btw) amount of profit with the uploader. But what I'm talking about is users' ability to remove content even before signing an official contract! That was my case, after my submited video(s) haven't sold for months, and they presently don't allow it. I want to refer you to your own statements that you sent me and other users, such as that "ViralHog does NOT have a termination clause in our agreements" and "we at ViralHog do not have a cancellation policy for any submission". Your communication and terms are some of the worst I have seen in my life. 
In summary, you need to update your terms to allow us powerless users to remove our submitted videos if they haven't been sold (at the very least) and before signing any contract; once you do that I will delete this review. That makes sense.

I'm writing this review a bit late, but I wanted to wait for a while after the initial transaction to see how things went.

So, it's been 5 years, and I can only say positive things about this company. They are efficient, totally transparent about any related media rights, and they pay up. Regularly.

Disclaimer: I cannot check if what they pay is accurate, as I don't have insight into their click-per-view database, but comparing views to other similar videos that float around, statistically the remuneration seems to be in the ballpark. (I have way too much time on my hands, data analysis keeps me out of mischief).

I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Working with the folks at Viralhog has been extremely pleasant. As a clearance person working on a busy TV show I have found they are fast, efficient and always ready to help. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to license clips.

Viralhog offers such a great service and really seems to care about their contributors. They contacted me about a video I had posted and told me I could get paid for it. I didn’t really believe Alex when she told me but I filled out the paperwork and without having to do anything else I started receiving checks in the mail. Any questions I had were answered very quickly and the customer service was excellent. I would absolutely recommend using their services.

I dont understand when I sign in it says 2 places with money coming from them but says payment outstanding in red what does this mean?

How long do you have to wait to be paid from a video? It shows my video has made almost $75, but I've yet to to receive any payment.

ViralHog made the entire licensing process smooth and pain free. I was impressed by their customer service which is genuinely friendly and helpful. You can tell they care about their customers and are experts at what they do. I’m so impressed by everyone I’ve dealt with that I can’t recommend using anyone but ViralHog!

When I was first contacted by ViralHog, I was pretty untrusting. However, I knew absolutely nothing about the company. When I actually started having conversations with an employee from the company (Greyson), I realized that he truly cared about me as a person and wasn't just worried about making money off of me. I felt that I could have honest conversation with him and that he would give me clear and trustworthy answers to my questions. He was quick to respond whenever I had questions or concerns, as is the rest of the ViralHog team. For me, it's not even about the money. I appreciate genuine people and companies who make their customers feel like they matter. I would recommend ViralHog to anyone!

Untrustworthy. They make promises that they don't keep. They tell you that they will protect your copyright but fail to do so. I have provided countless links to unauthorised videos through my dashboard and they haven't done a thing about it. Fake pages on facebook with my video have gained millions of views and they are still up! I checked to see if any of these pages are partners of viralhog or clients and they were not! I don't recommend this company at all. Believe nothing they tell you. And unless your video is extra super viral material then don't expect more than some pocket change from the revenue. They just want to own as many videos as possible regardless of whether it will make money or not. Another important thing to note is you will have absolutely no idea of the exact amount your videos are making. You will only know what they want to tell you. Do not be bamboozled by their cunningness. They are superb talkers and can easily trap you in a contract where you have no way of getting out of. No matter what they tell you do not believe them. And if you do unfortunately decide to sign up with them I strongly suggest that you only agree to a NON EXCLUSIVE contract as this way you will be able to sign up the same video with as many other companies that you want and earn much more and most importantly have full control of your content. And I urge anyone who wants to sign up with them to first read all the negative reviews about them as those are the real deal. Read them carefully. All the good ones are from people who haven't a clue about how this company operates. The truth is in reviews like mine. And as a reply to their response to my review I say- you might fool some but you sure don't fool me.

Hands down one the best experience I've had with any company. The customer service has blown away my expectations. They took the time to make sure i understood, explained the process, and made what seemed complex, very simple.

The majority of my work was done with Hunter. Going forward, I am and will continue to tell about how impressed I am with Hunter amd ViralHog as a whole.

Do not waste time looking any further than ViralHog. They will help you. They are kind. They are experts in their feild and will maximize your exposure through their large following and platform.

I licensed my video through ViralHog and it accumulated over 15m views through Unilad on Facebook. I used their process to report the video as unlicensed but they told me they had licensed the video from them. Somehow I still only made $4 from YouTube because they aren't listing that I made anything off of those Unilad views... After over 4 months of waiting to see if the payment would process I still haven't seen anything. Seems like something shady might be going on behind the scenes. Wish I would have licensed through someone else.

They have been awesome to work with and I feel very ethical. This was my first experience with a viral video and made the whole process easy.

ViralHog provides an excellent service and are highly professional and proactive in their dealing with customers...

I sold two videos to viralhog for commercial rights. And they paid me quite a good sum of money so they can advertise on my videos. Awesome company five Star great people I only wish I had more videos

This is by far the worst company ever first off they don’t keep your dashboard updated they lie and give you the runaround They claim my video was only updated to YouTube. But one day I was wondering why I wasn’t getting the money I was promised and I googled the name they put under my video I found my video on countless websites run in ads making money from my video this company is untrustworthy and will give you the runaround and profit from your video

Do not trust this company. They have further victimized a victim while profiting from it tremendously as I have filed a complaint with the FTC. If you believe that you have been given the run around after signing a contract with ViralHog, contact me and I will gladly show you my experience with ViralHog with a stack of hard evidence to prove the consortium that ViralHog is not truthful nor is the reporting on YouTube correct. Educate yourself before ever allowing this company to get an ounce of money from any of your viral content.
