This company is a scam
This company is a scam. I paid via crypto and the login details were never provided. Support tickets were never answered. It seems this company does not exist anymore and had a data breach in mid-June 2025. These fake merchants collect payments from unsuspecting customers, then vanish with both the money and card details. I also filed a Federal Trade Commission (FTC) complaint for scams and unfair business practices.

SCAM. This website took my money. Never enabled my shared desktop. Then marked my account as “Collections” because I cancelled the PayPal account they used to charge me. Really?? Find a different victim!

Cant connect server
Ok, price is low and when connected its fast. But, I am not using the service much and in less than 3 weeks when I need to use it I cant login and server is not connecting. Last time it was an update. Updating 2-3 days? This is the second time and I am waiting for response.
3 stars for now. If it works as it should be its definitely a 5 star.

BE CAREFULL with these people, they sell same host with other people, someone told me he have same host. BE CAREFUL ! i never buy, i paid for 2 host, but they gaved me same host only different users, but is same ip. :)

We've responded to your concerns via support ticket. You have subscribed to a shared plan. Shared plans are hosted on environments that are "shared" with other users. Each user gets their own secure desktop but other users share the host resources. If you log-off your desktop at the end of each session your files, settings and data are secured using standard *nix permissions based security. If you'd like to change to a dedicated plan please contact support and we will put you on an unshared environment. **Also, we offered to shift one of your shared accounts onto another host but you didn't reply to the support ticket.

Brilliant service! A god send to those who don't have a Mac!
I absolutely adore this service! Perfect for students! It's fast, James is always there to help and i have never had any issue he couldn't immediately fix! This is my second time using it and I have recommended it to everyone I know. Long story short, my husband had a final coding exam earlier this year so I set this up for him and cancelled once it was over. We didn't realize there was still a final project left so here we are again! James as always very accommodating, making sure any issues were taken care of, always quick to respond and ever the helpful! I don't think my husband would have ever been able to pass without this service! Now his masters is finally complete and we both would 10/10 recommend this service!

Edit: I think I have found your order. Login details were sent to you on July 22 2022. Did you not receive them?
Edit 2: I've resent login details through the billing portal as well as via direct email.
Edit 3: I've reached out in multiple ways to try and remedy the problem with this user and the user has not responded to any of our points of contact.

Bad service, poor communication
We tried the service, the machine speed quality is really bad and you don't have admin access to install anything.
Worst part is that after requesting to stop the service we are still getting charged monthly with no response and we had to contact PayPal and bank to stop the charges.
Update
After contacting PayPal and disputed the transaction I heard back from James and got a refund.

We replied to this user within hours after the first email was sent which was in the very early AM. The user sent a string of emails throughout the night culminating with the bad review of our service in the very early AM. All of this was done before our regular business hours. First thing in the morning we provided a full refund on the overpayments and reached out to the customer explaining the timing issue(ie. emails received during the middle of the night). The overpayments were a result of the user not cancelling the PayPal recurring payment at termination of the subscription as per our cancellation policy.
Furthermore, there were no support tickets regarding the overpayments and the only support ticket was asking for assistance with installing apps which we replied to with instructions on how to request admin authentication. Our shared service clearly states that admin authentication is provided by support. We're working very hard to provide an affordable and effective alternative to costly Mac ownership.

I requested a cancelation and refund. the service is canceled but no refund!!!!!!!!!
that is an absolute scam. I did not use the service even for half an hour. But they don't give me back my money.

it's been a day since I ordered and paid for the service. But service status is still pending. I also submitted a ticket yesterday asking them when it is activated, but NO ANSWER.
I'm beginning to think it's a scam, honestly.

Looks like a half-baked automated system.
I had to cancel after a month as the system is quite slow and quite unresponsive.
After cancellation, I was still charged and only after complained they mentioned I had to cancel with Paypal as well. I wonder how much additional money they are making this way.
I would recommend looking for another more trusted service.

Откровенно говоря, без преувеличений, это был один из самых худший моих опытов по работе с каким-либо сервисом. Начнем по порядку.
1) Зачем нужна служба поддержки если она либо вообще не отвечает(такое было несколько раз), либо отвечает очень долго и без разницы какой приоритет был выставлен. было всего пару раз когда она все таки ответили в течение пары часов, но это нужно чтобы все звезды сошлись.
Зачем вам нужны приоритеты, если они просто не работают, служба поддержки может не отвечать неделями и нужны создавать новый тикет чтобы она просто вам ответила на тикет который создавался ранее. это максимально несерьезно.
Но это пол беды. еще не факт что вам служба поддержки поможет, потому что иногда мне казалось, что там сидят люди которые просто либо не хотят работать, либо не компетентны. И я читал отзывы ниже, там virtualmacosx просит создать тикет потому что кого-то этот сервис проигнорировал по поводу оплаты и вот я обращаюсь к virtualmacosx - а зачем нужно создавать новый тикет? чтобы вы снова не ответили. у меня прямо сейчас(на аккаунте моего директора) создан тикет больше недельной давности по поводу отмены дальнейшей подписки на который вы до сих пор не ответили. Безусловно есть моменты когда мне помог этот сервис, а точнее его служба поддержки и действительно это было в течении пары часов, ну это как раз поэтому тут одна и единственная звезда, просто тут 0 нельзя поставить, а жалко. Про службу поддержки еще много можно написать но лучше перейдем к другой части, а точнее, как все выглядит в работе
2) В работе все более печальней. Вы получаете дико лагающую ос. Между перемещениями курсора можно смело пойти попить чай, приготовить ужин, либо заняться своими делами и где-то через пару часов можно прийти и переместить курсор в другое место, а теперь подумайте, что будет если открыть папку))))))) она может просто не открыться) все очень печально. ну а если уже говорить более серьезней. даже если она у вас все таки лагать не будет, вы будете очень сильно зажаты, часто будете писать в тех поддержку потому что вы очень сильно ограничены. не хочется приводить какие-то конкретные примеры потому что это все скорее ситуативно, ну возможно один приведу, мне нужны было использовать sudo, но у меня не было прав и надо писать в тех поддержку каждый раз когда надо ее использовать соответственно это большая потеря времени. была еще ситуации с этими же самыми пермишенами, но это все как и говорил ранее очень ситуативно. с одной стороны понять их можно, но с другой, зачем тогда нужен этот сервис?
В заключении хочу сказать. Сама идея этого сервиса - крутая. Реализация с его персоналом - тут все очень туманно плохо и сам сервис отстал от времени. virtualmacosx реально нужен, я даже уверен что сейчас пользуется спросом, но в его нынешнем состоянии я не знаю кому и когда он может понадобиться.
