VivEurope took care of all the details that enabled me to receive my D7 visa in 6 months! They are patient and responsive to the many questions that come up during the process. They understand the process and can ensure that everything is correct before you submit your application. They also assisted in finding my lease and setting up my utilities.
But the best part of my experience has been working with these friendly, kind people! I can't wait to see them when I arrive in Portugal

This review is a few weeks overdue, but nonetheless very important. I would like to personally thank Rita, Matheus, Hannah, Kyle and Artur for helping us through the VISA process. We would not have been able to complete it without them. At least, if I want to maintain my sanity. Matheus was so instrumental by guiding us through and offering any assistance we needed. He was always available and took time to respond to every question, no matter how small. Again, thanks to the entire VivEurope team. You are wonderful.

Since myself and my wife started out journey to explore the life possibilities in Portugal, the Viv Europe team has educated us, supported us and guided us 100%. More than expectations we had.
Working with us in the Portuguese language and allowing us to understand in our English language.

I had a truly wonderful experience with Viv Europe. Moving to Portugal is hard. There is so much false information online that it is shocking. You will read articles and watch videos that tell you it is easy. It is not. Viv Europe made everything possible for me. They supported me through everything. From getting the NIF to opening a Portuguese bank account to guiding and advising about financial documents, employment documents, tax documents. They were there to help with the VFS appointment, the required paperwork for getting a pet moved to Portugal. They even helped me get my apartment! There is a reason that you are reading this review, is that maybe you are thinking of relocating to a new country to start a new life and have no idea where to start! Trust me it’s no easy task doing this all by yourself.



It can be done, but there are many hurdles to cross before your dream comes true! I did a lot of research trying to find a relocation company that would suit all my needs. The one I chose is Viv Europe.



Well, what can I say? Don’t bother looking anywhere else, this company is brilliant. They help you all the way from start to finish, and the cost is very reasonable and payment is only made at each successful stage.



Communication is outstanding, and they always answer emails very promptly.

It’s not just the process of applying for residence, they are on hand to answer any questions.



It could be a tax question or how to apply for a driving licence, they will help.



Matheus & Victor have a wealth of knowledge, and seem to know all those answers. If they don’t know the answer, they know someone who does.



Please, don’t bother with any other company, this is the one to help fulfil all your dreams without all the hassle.



Outstanding.....

It’s been one year since I signed a contract with Viv europe to facilitate my move to Portugal. For a couple of years, I had known that I had wanted to move to Lisbon, even knew the neighborhood where I wanted to live, where I had made friends, but I had no idea how to make it happen. Somehow, I got lucky. All I had to do was click on an ad for Viv europe and request a tele-conference with one of their representatives. When I spoke to Ms. Sousa and told her my plans of moving to Portugal, she politely and assuredly explained how Viv Europe could make it all happen.
In another conference, Victor Queiroz explained how they would, through power of attorney, establish my Portuguese Tax number, create a Bank Account for me, guide me through the visa application, both with VFS in the U.S. and with AIMA in Portugal, acquaint and connect me with realtors, providing due diligence of oversight in a rental agreement, and find me a private medical insurance. All which they honorably did. In addition, they have helped with getting a social security number, and I have retained their tax services for the following year. In short, I trust them; I think of them as advisors and friends. They have made me feel welcome.
But that doesn’t tell the whole story: The hundreds of emails and the personal attention that Matheus Freitas, my Client Manager, patiently gave to me. There’s nothing I liked reading more than his closing sentence which assured me that Viv europe would help me through every step of the process. He answered every question I had. Immigration is complicated. I can’t imagine someone doing this on their own. Viv Europe kept me apprised of my progress and deadlines as I assembled my application, and to a large degree they let me set my own schedule as I negotiated retirement, the sale of my house, and the myriad of issues and preparations one faces in a transcontinental move.
The most frustrating parts of this journey were scheduling an appointment with VFS Global Services and finding a one-year lease in Lisbon, matters largely out of the control of Viv Europe. Both highlight the necessity of being proactive with VFS and with the housing market. Mr. Freitas sent me the contacts of several real estate groups as well as rental properties in neighborhoods that he had found knowing where I wanted to live. Thankfully, I had friends in Portugal who could advise me as well. When I finally found an apartment, Mr. Freitas guided me through the lease agreement and registration with the housing authority.
Viv Europe can handle all the complications. The greatest challenge, however, is the intellectual and emotional commitment the immigrant must make to their new country and culture. As I write this, twilight softens over Largo do Mastro in the very neighborhood where I had hoped to live, and one more time I’m going to walk to the window to see that it has all come true. It’s not necessary that you see the future, as long you can imagine it.
