I purchased a multimeter from Wafuu. The package arrived in the Netherlands but is being held by Dutch Customs. PostNL has informed me that they will only provide information to the sender.

Despite multiple email exchanges with Wafuu, they have unfortunately failed to provide any meaningful assistance or resolve the issue. As a customer, I find this level of service extremely disappointing and unacceptable.

I haven't yet receive my order, and Wafuu has shown little willingness to take responsibility or help resolve the situation. Based on my experience, their customer service has been utterly unsatisfactory. I would not recommend this company.

Great Experience !!. I ordered a CASIO G-Shock GW-M5610U-1JF for the same price as here in the US (as they are hard to get !) , and it arrived in 48 hours, Japan to CA !!, with many texts and e-mails to give me progress updates. To be honest, I didn't expect this level of service and I was pleasantly surprised - Thank you ! ;)

Very big disappointment. I purchased toothpaste worth 49,54 euro with the promise of delivery 20 days. Order was placed in August, since early Sept there is no tracking update. Reached out to customer service, only getting automated responses without any actual solution. So most likely I will never get the order, or my money back. Avoid them!

I took a look at the negative ratings on this page while buying a Realforce R3 HB21 keyboard. And frankly? It is staggering. We are witnessing a complete, baseline hardware failure in how people process elementary reality.

To the 1-star reviewers: let’s walk through this slowly so your remaining brain cells can keep up.

Customs duties are charged by YOUR country. Wafuu Japan doesn't run your local government, nor do they care to. Blaming an exporter in Tokyo because your own border charges you an import tax isn't a bad reviewit's just you publicly announcing that you don't understand how buying stuff works. Read the checkout screen, pay the tax, and move on. It's basic common sense.

The Earth rotates. When it’s 2:00 PM on your couch, it’s 3:00 AM in Tokyo. Expecting instantaneous, live customer support while the humans on the other end are literally in a biological sleep cycle isn't "bad service." It’s you demanding that physics bend to your entitlement.

Now, onto the actual store performance: 10/10.

From a pure execution standpoint, their supply chain is tight. Zero bloat. The Realforce R3 HB21 was processed fast, packed like it was headed for deep space, and shipped across an entire ocean with zero drag. The keyboard arrived in pristine condition100% authentic Topre perfection.

If you have a functioning brain and basic common sense, you'll have a 5-star experience. Wafuu Japan scales brilliantlyit's just a shame their customer base includes people whose hardware desperately needs a firmware update.

Article décevant, mais retour impossible, à moins de payer des frais de port très chers vers le Japon, rendant l’opération peu rentable. Le service client réponds au bout de plusieurs jours et fait preuve de psychorigidité. Je déconseille ce site.

I ordered a BALMUDA The Toaster Pro from WAFUU JAPAN in February 2026. The total price was DKK 2,290, and the order confirmation stated a FedEx delivery time of 3–10 business days.

The order was shipped, but the FedEx tracking showed a “Clearance Delay – Import” in Kastrup, Denmark, on February 18. The package never arrived.

I contacted FedEx and WAFUU JAPAN several times. In March, WAFUU told me that the shipment was undergoing customs clearance and advised me to contact FedEx or the Danish customs authorities myself. I had already been trying to get information from the carrier without receiving a useful resolution.

In June, after several months had passed, I contacted WAFUU again. To their credit, they acknowledged the unusually long delay and said they would contact the carrier themselves and request an investigation into the shipment.

However, nothing was ultimately resolved. I never received the product, and I never received a meaningful final resolution to the case.

I understand that customs delays can happen and that WAFUU may not directly control the customs process. However, as the customer, I expect the seller to take reasonable responsibility for helping resolve a shipment that has been missing for months. In this case, I felt that I was repeatedly being sent back to the carrier instead of getting an actual solution.

Very disappointing experience, especially considering that the order was supposed to arrive within 3–10 business days.

I’m highly suspicious this is some kind of scam company. I paid through PayPal and requested a refund when my order never turned up. I only received 1 email from them prior to initiating a case through PayPal. They ignored most of my emails, I wouldn’t trust them or waste your time.

The item we purchased never arrived. We contacted Wafuu but did not receive any help.

Sorprendido por la rapidez con la que ha llegado mi envío. Todo primorosamente embalado y a un precio interesante, si bien es cierto que empieza a subir cuando vas añadiendo gastos de envío, impuestos en aduana y la comisión que cobra la empresa de transporte por hacer los trámites administrativos.
Pero vale la pena. Cuidado con los libros, suelen venir en japonés.

I bought a 3 pack k8 kangen filter order #103449 the price is $258 shipping $59 , when clicking the total price $317 .the page display showing (import duties not included) but doesn’t show how much ) wafuu HIDDEN until your order arrives to DHL text messages to me said I need to pay $51.09 ( if not DHL return to seller .wafuu not accepted for refund ,So if you are ordered from US or another country you will charge for import duties fee ,don’t forget prepare extra money for your order .CONSIDER before buying from Wafuu and beware of this retailer,Their business practices are very dishonest..never buy anything from them again

Ich habe bei WAFUU inzwischen drei Bestellungen aufgegeben und möchte meine bisherige Erfahrung unbedingt teilen, weil sie durchweg positiv war. 🤗🇯🇵❤️

Angefangen habe ich ganz bewusst mit einer kleinen Testbestellung mit nur einem Artikel. Zu meiner Überraschung war das Paket bereits innerhalb von weniger als einer Woche bei mir – und das direkt aus Shibuya in Tokio! Ich war tatsächlich davon ausgegangen, dass die Ware vielleicht aus irgendeinem japanischen Zentrallager verschickt wird. Zu erfahren, dass mein Paket wirklich mitten aus Tokio kam, hat die ganze Bestellung für mich noch besonderer gemacht. 😊

Auch die Zollabwicklung war völlig unkompliziert und problemlos. Und ganz ehrlich: Dass bei einer Bestellung aus Japan nach Deutschland noch Einfuhrumsatzsteuer bzw. gegebenenfalls Zoll anfällt, sollte eigentlich niemanden überraschen. WAFUU weist darauf an mehreren Stellen sehr deutlich hin – auf der Website, in den Bedingungen und sogar beim Checkout. Für mich war daher von Anfang an klar, dass zusätzliche Einfuhrkosten entstehen können. Das gehört bei einer Bestellung aus einem Nicht-EU-Land einfach dazu.

Nach dieser ersten positiven Erfahrung habe ich dann noch zwei deutlich größere Bestellungen für jeweils knapp 300 € aufgegeben. Auch diese Pakete waren nach ungefähr einer Woche bei mir.

Und was soll ich sagen: Ich war beim Auspacken wirklich glücklich. 😍

Die Ware war einwandfrei, original und sehr gut verpackt. Vor allem die japanischen Züge und Spielzeuge aus einer der Bestellungen haben bei mir sofort Erinnerungen an meine eigene Reise nach Tokio geweckt. Es hat sich beim Auspacken tatsächlich ein bisschen wie ein kleines Stück Japan angefühlt, das plötzlich bei mir zu Hause angekommen ist.

Besonders lustig war dann noch die Überraschung bei den Einfuhrkosten: Eine der beiden größeren Sendungen kam tatsächlich komplett zollfrei bei mir an. Bei der anderen musste ich ungefähr 80 € an Einfuhrabgaben bezahlen. Auch das war für mich völlig in Ordnung – ich hatte bei dem Bestellwert sogar mit mehr gerechnet.

Was mir außerdem sehr positiv aufgefallen ist: Der Kundenservice hat mich vor dem Versand meiner beiden größeren Bestellungen kurz per Mail angeschrieben und npxh einmal ausdrücklich darauf hingewiesen, dass Einfuhrabgaben anfallen können, und wollte sicherstellen, dass ich mir dessen bewusst bin. Das fand ich ausgesprochen fair und kundenorientiert.

Ich bin deshalb ehrlich gesagt ziemlich überrascht, wenn ich die teilweise sehr negativen Bewertungen hier sehe. Natürlich kann bei internationalen Sendungen immer einmal etwas schiefgehen – dafür gibt es viele Faktoren, die ein Händler nicht vollständig kontrollieren kann. Meine persönliche Erfahrung war jedenfalls eine komplett andere.

Schneller Versand, tolle und originale Produkte, sorgfältige Verpackung, unkomplizierte Zollabwicklung und ein ausgesprochen freundlicher Kundenservice - typisch japanisch eben. 😌

Für mich ist WAFUU eine absolute Empfehlung für alle, die japanische Produkte mögen und gerne direkt aus Japan bestellen.

Ich werde definitiv wieder bestellen. 🇯🇵❤️

Short delivery time to Ireland. Like all such imports VAT and customs duties apply but the FedEx system is seemless. Worth mentioning that this courier does come at a significant cost. However, it made economic sense for the tools I bought.

This was a first for me. An online international shop that sends products by sea. Don’t get caught out. Read the final checkout page to make sure you are not optioned for sea as it’s 2-3 months shipping time.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with WAFUU Japan.
I ordered a watch for €98.90 and paid an additional €35.31 in import duties and taxes, although it was the only shipping method that didn't mention the extra shipping costs were not covered. The package was shipped via FedEx but was lost during transit before it could be delivered.
FedEx officially confirmed that the shipment had been lost. However, instead of providing a refund or replacement, WAFUU's position was that I should deal directly with FedEx for compensation.
To make matters worse, FedEx only offered €12.27 in compensation under its liability limits, leaving me without the product and without most of the money I paid.
As a customer, I purchased a product from WAFUU, and that product was never delivered. I expected the seller to take responsibility and resolve the issue with their carrier, not shift that responsibility to the buyer.
While the loss itself may not have been WAFUU's fault, the way the situation has been handled is very disappointing. Customers should not be left to absorb the financial loss when an item never arrives.
Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend WAFUU and will be very reluctant to purchase from them again.

Bought 10 Meiji Formula milk for my baby and my baby loves it. Shipping took 1-2 weeks. Never had an issue with this company. Good prices too.

Leider eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung.

Ich habe am 13.06.2026 bestellt. Laut Händler sollte der Versand innerhalb von 10 Werktagen erfolgen. Stattdessen erhielt ich eine angebliche DHL-Sendungsnummer, die sich weder bei DHL verfolgen ließ noch überhaupt als gültig erkannt wurde.

Mehrfache Nachfragen beim Händler führten zu keiner Lösung. Es wurde weder ein korrekter Versandnachweis noch eine funktionierende Sendungsverfolgung bereitgestellt. Wochen später habe ich die Ware immer noch nicht erhalten.

Da der Händler das Problem nicht lösen konnte, musste ich schließlich einen PayPal-Käuferschutzfall eröffnen.

Ich hätte mir eine ehrliche Kommunikation und eine schnelle Klärung gewünscht. So kann ich den Shop leider nicht weiterempfehlen.
