Energetic, effective, thoughtful, helpful.

A complicated move involving storage of our household possessions, which Anthony Ward Thomas handled perfectly. Charlie Parry took admin and logistics charge from beginning to end and took endless phone calls from us with great efficiency and kindness. The packing, stacking and moving was skilled and speedy.
We’ve used them before and would use them again.

This is the 4th time I have moved with Anthony Ward Thomas & they are, without doubt, the best removal company. Professional, efficient, respectful to their clients & their clients’ property, hardworking and happy to help with all of your needs, taking all the stress out of your move.

Turned up on time and packed up the flat efficiently and fast. Still to see the result of unpacking. Overall, the staff were friendly and efficient.

Branded as a premium service (Anthony Ward/ Master Removers/ Aussie), I would not call it premium.

Staff was nice but exhausted because of bad planning and timing and in the end just stuffed designer item just in boxes or the van while we were charged a premium and things got damaged. After service not existent and rude.
Worst move (and I moved a lot)

We could not have been happier than to ask Anthony Ward Thomas to send a team to remove items from our house we wished to place in storage. The team was not only friendly and polite but carried out the work in a few hours, while giving support and always replying to our queries with courtesy. We commend the company to others. This is not the first time our family has turned to Anthony Ward Thomas and we will be happy to do so again if the occasion arises. Thank you to the team on site and in the office.

Very professional service at a fair price. Abbie in the office was also extremely responsive and helpful. All the moving guys we have been given have always gone above and beyond, as well as being extremely efficient. I have already used them again and would recommend.

This review is also for Assuie Man and Van as this is the same company now. I don’t have any issue with actual movers they were great both Aussie Man and Anthony. I’m having a problem with office staff.
We have a newborn baby and it’s very difficult to do an early time slot and 8am, so we would go for a noon slot. So this time we need to move on Bank Holiday. On Bank holidays they have only 1 slot at 9am which technically means only one job, which in my head means they can start a bit later. I asked can they please do 10am, I received : NO, with out explanation , well I asked her why? She said: Because, it’s our start time (well it’s a fair point if they don’t need a job of 5 hours cos of one hour later start) . After I tried to contact Anthony Ward department , hoping that they care about business they work for , but they all sit behind one table so I got same rude respond saying something like : Well, we have told you already, so leave us alone we can’t help you. Feels quite unprofessional for the price they charge per hour ( £144 per hour.)

They moved us down from
London to Hampshire. Best moving experience I have ever had by a mile. Their guys were great at their jobs and really made an effort to get everything right. It took all/ most of the stress out of the move and I cannot recommend them higher enough. Brilliant service!

I've used Ward Thomas in the past and have been delighted with their work and attitude. I have recommended them to others and was pleased to get them again. This time they were extremely disappointing. Not enough people, a number of inexperienced team members, different people over the few days so lack of continuity. Got charged for unpacking but they didn't unpack. The response to complaints was silence. How the once great have fallen - a real shame.

This company did a first class job packing, moving and then unpacking. Excellent team and nothing was too much trouble.

Can’t recommend highly enough! Booking experience was very easy, the guys arrived on time and did my move in 2 hours! Super speedy and considerate with my things, everything is in perfect condition. In the new house they moved the boxes to the rooms I needed them in. Will 100% book again when I need to move houses. Thank you!

When it was time to move flat recently I went straight to Ward Thomas, with whom we have had excellent experiences over the years. Charlie who came to take the brief and provide the quote was extremely pleasant and highly efficient. The team on the day could not have been nicer & brought items we had had in Ward Thomas storage for 2 years. Nothing was too much trouble and all our possessions were handled with care and professionalism. Even the empty boxes were collected swiftly. I would not hesitate to recommend Ward Thomas for any removals or storage.

Having sold my London townhouse and moving to a flat in Marylebone I sought a professional removal company. My estate agent recommended Anthony Ward Thomas and the service provided before, during and after the moves has been of the absolutely highest standard. Showing extreme care in moving furniture out , and equally placing in my newly refurbished property , the attention to detail and respect for my concerns were clearly met. If I were to move again I would use Anthony Ward Thomas without any hesitation.

I have ysed Anthony Ward Thomas for yet another move and they were even more amazing than our first move! The whole team were professional, kind and very well organized and effcient. We had so many boxes and furniture and they treated every single item with extremely care and managed to fit a sofa-bed through a very tiny door. I can’t recommend this company highly enough! Moves are always stressful but with Anthony Ward Thomas you have this peace of mind that you are in good hands!

I recently attended AWT to inspect items as part of a valuation of high value antiques. Dale and the team were absolutely superb on the day, assisting me for over four hours straight, by unwrapping all the boxed items so that I could inspect and value them. They then very carefully repacked everything.
I could see from the way that they handled the items, and took special care in rewrapping rugs, that they work to the very highest standards and pay particular attention to detail.
The firm could not have been more friendly, professional or helpful on the day and I would wholeheartedly recommend them.

Ward Thomas are the best. I've used them several times & each time I think the team cannot be bettered. Always friendly, willing and a delight to have around. Thoroughly recommend.

Anthony Ward Thomas handled our move to a new house over 3 days. I have nothing but praise for them: great team that was a pleasure to have around and work with, did an excellent job of packing and labelling, and reassembled and set out our furniture in the new house, even shifting things around without complaint when we changed our mind a couple of times. The empty boxes and packing materials were picked up within a day of my signalling we were ready to have them collected. A really class outfit.

Unacceptable service!
We had a number of issues with Anthony Ward/ Master Removers/ Aussie or whatever company name they are going by that day.

For starters, we did a survey where I showed everything in the house to be removed. I had a lighting fixture that was hanging on the wall. Unfortunately it required an impact drill for removal and the crew didn’t have one. we needed to call an emergency electrician for £200.
This company bills itself as a premium service so at a minimum they should have asked if we had any lighting fixtures needing removal. Especially since I showed it during the survey.

The packing was done horribly. Stuff was literally thrown it’s boxes and most were just labeled “miscellaneous” I had a £179 mat for my daughters room that was so badly bent I had to throw it out. The company said they would reimburse me a measly £40.

The worst bit of it all is that they discarded my Miele vacuum and lost my duvet. When questioned piero ( I assume he is a manager) said that my husband instructed the crew that the vacuum wasn’t coming with us and was to be thrown out. My husband absolutely didn’t say this and ultimately this is a dishonest company.

If anyone has any questions I’d be happy to share more feedback and provide emails where the manager states that his crew all have the same story and essentially that my husband is a liar. So much for the customer is always right!
