I found We Are Snow while searching for a way to spend a season in the snow and I absolutely love my trip to Niseko, Japan!
The program was very well organized - both beforehand and while I was in training to become a snowboard instructor.
Training itself was amazing as WAS employed highly qualified and experienced trainers! There's a 100 percent success rate for the exam.
Moving on to working after the exam also went smoothly.
Last but not least, let's not forget about the social stuff: I've met loads of fun and interesting people, dived into Japanese culture and - simply put - had the time of my life!

I booked the ski instructor course in Niseko with We Are Sno and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences of my life. Right from the start Ed and the trainers were at the airport waiting to welcome us to Japan and show us to our new home in Hirafu! The accommodation for the course was amazing, not only was it comfortable and spacious but the hosts, Peter and Yoko were incredibly hospitable and made sure everyone had a great time. The accommodation was also in a perfect location in Hirafu, a short albeit cold walk to many bars and pizza vans! We were trained by Scotty, Campbell and Nathan who were all extremely good riders as well as coaches and always up for a laugh and the occasional night out. I can’t thank Ed enough for the incredible job he did whilst we were in Japan, everything was extremely well organised and little touches and added extras really made the course special. At the end of the course eveyone passed their exams and are now settled into their new snowsports jobs. I will be recommending We Are Sno to all my friends and family as I have had an amazing time and feel like I’ve made lifelong friends! Thanks Ed and Adrian!

Ski Instructor Course

I was lucky enough to be part of the 2017 We Are Sno crew in Japan. The whole experience was fantastic and I could not recommend a better company to attain your ski qualification with. The team at we are sno were organised right from the start and were very attentive via email. In Japan they were just as great and Adrian was fantastic in making sure that any issues were resolved and that we were having the best time possible.

I wish I could be heading out there again this year as it genuinely was one of the greatest experiences. Thanks to everyone at we are sno for orchestrating such a superb programme! 100% would recommend!

Booking snowboard instructor course with WeAreSno was the best decision in my life. Spending 2 months riding powder in beautiful Japan was a unique experience. Nate and Campbell are extremely experienced in both teaching and riding, so no wonder that training with them was a blast. I went into the exam with confidence and my riding improved drastically. Adrian handled the organization of the entire course flawlessly. But by far my favorite part of course were friendships with amazing people from all around world. What really sets this company apart is a sense of community before, during and after the course. This course was an eye opening experience and a glimpse into what a best job in the world looks like. No doubt the best time of my life full of amazing people and deep, deep powder!

I found We Are Sno to be a company that simply goes above and beyond. For someone like me taking their first steps into the snowsports industry, the experience was slightly daunting. This company doesn't only make joining the industry simplistic and fulfilling, but the team treat every single member they take on as one of their own. Its not just a collective booking organisation, but a family that welcomes you with open arms. Having qualified as both a ski and snowboard instructor in the same season I hope to return to Japan with Adrian, Kenny, Campbell and the rest of the crew ASAP.

Hands down, the best 5 months of my life. Everything seemed so smooth and easy, from the high quality training we received to the accomodation we had. Adrian, our wearesno coordinator was more than welcome to answer any question/doubts and help each of us through the entire season. We all got to meet so many amazing people and share such memorable experiences; not that often you can say you skied off of your roof, at night, with a volcano in the distance, with the people that helped train you to become a better skier. Will definately try to do something similar again in the future. Even if you are just slightly thinking of working a season as a ski instructor with wearesno...DO IT! Get waist deep in that glorious Japow!
