Super fun course, met some great people, everything was well organised and came out of it with a qualification I can use

WEARESNO are faultless. Adrian was invaluable in the planning and organising of the trip along with being extremely helpful throughout the VISA application process.

Once across the pond, our course reps Sean and Kae made the first 5 weeks of the course incredibly easy going. For most of us, it was our first time moving away and spending an extended period of time away from our home whilst l completing our first winter season, a daunting prospect. However, WEARESNO and our reps made the whole process SO enjoyable, taking us out for countless meals and evening activities. We really can’t thank them enough. Thanks to everyone at the company we are all certified level 2 instructors with avalanche training and set up perfectly for another season next winter.

WEARESNO have been absolutely fantastic throughout! Adrian provided great help in the process of getting out to Canada especially through tricky Covid times. And once we arrived in Canada we were met by Sean and Kaelin who were with us for the first month arranging great outings and meals for us and were always there to help. We all became really firm friends and can safely say that Sean and Kae will all remain a firm part of our Canadian experience. We love you guys! If you are looking for a great company to kickstart your skiing career as an instructor, WEARESNO is the way to go.

It's fair to say I was more than done with the rat race and 2021 was the year I decided that I needed out. After finally quitting my miserable office job I was on the hunt for a life of adventure with a lot of giddy optimism but no idea where to start. Luckily, my love for skiing lead me to discovering WE ARE SNO and I haven't looked back since. Thanks to the internship program at Silverstar, I have opened the door to a world of opportunities and met lifelong friends, and it's only my first winter season! (of many I hope...)

The process of moving to a new country to start a new job could easily feel overwhelming when you're stood at the start line. Thankfully WE ARE SNOW have gone above and beyond across the board to facilitate and invest in making our experience as easy and enriching as possible straight from the offset. Honestly, I wouldn't change a thing and am so glad I chose to go with WE ARE SNO.

This was the best experience ever. People are really friendly and our hosts Sean and Kae went above and beyond any my expectations. The training here is really great and gives you the skills to be able to do many more seasons. I have had plenty of fun even with covid going on. I would highly recommend doing this if you are on the fence.

The whole experience was amazing! Sean and Kae helped us out so much in Canada! They were super welcoming and friendly, helping us with everything! it was sad to see them go! The we are sno course is great, it gave us the opportunity to complete our level 1&2 as well as AST1. I really enjoy that the course provides extra training for these and therefore gives us confidence to ace our exams! I’m definitely going to recommend wearesno to anybody looking to complete a season!

I've had an absolutely amazing time on the Zermatt gap course meeting some amazing people and improving my skiing massively with the fantastic instructors at Summit.

I feel confident after this that I can now make my way forward as a Ski Instructor and look forward to many seasons just like the one I've just had.

had an amazing experience on the we are sno gap course in zermatt. Was so much fun getting to know everyone as well as an amazing training team we had in summit ski school. Additionally the whole team was amazing throughout the whole experience with a shout out to dave and Adrian who where both super helpful and accommodating especially as we where the first course out there. overall brilliant experience and cant wait to do another season teaching with the qualification i received with the help of we are sno and summit.

As I’m writing this, I’m struggling to find the words to describe an experience so authentic and unique. All I can say is, doing this instructor course with we are sno in Zermatt, may be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The people. The ski school (Summit). The trainers. The place. And last but not least, the immense support from both our course leader and trainers is something I believe you won’t find elsewhere. We are sno is all about having a genuine experience, something I truly believe I had. Despite being the only girl, (which in the beginning scared me a little) I ended up loving that I was, as it made me see things from a different perspective a lot of the time. Looking back at my experience, I wouldn’t have had it any other way. Never did I feel excluded or left behind in any way. This is to say, however it turns out, whoever the people are, it will be special in its own way. As this is what we are sno truly pushes for. For you to have your own unique experience. And they’ll be there to support you in every way they can, which you can feel all throughout the course. The course with we are sno hasn’t just given me special bonds and lifelong memories but has also opened job opportunities for me as you’ll now see me in blue, working for summit as a full time ski instructor for the rest of the season in Zermatt. Which has been a dream come true for me since I could first stand on skis. Thank you we are sno. This journey wouldn’t have been the same without you by my side.

We Are Sno are a fantastic company and provided a seamless journey to becoming a ski instructor! They arranged everything from airport transport, resort orientation and training with expert instructors. I couldn’t be happier with my current job, and get to experience the beautiful Mount Washington with a fab group of like-minded people. I received constant guidance throughout, including Visa advice and information regarding travelling during Covid-19. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to begin their career in snowsports, or just hoping to have a guaranteed great season. The programme definitely made everything easier for me, with ongoing support which continues through my stay. After knowing for a very long time that I wanted to do a ski season, it was the hard bit then deciding where and what job I wanted to do. After find WEARESNO, they made it extremely easy for me to chose to go to Japan to become a ski instructor as they sort everything out for you.

From Arriving on day one, to the very end of the season, Ed and Dewansh took care of us from picking us up and the airport, providing us with the best trainers and giving us a place to stay, which is where I met loads of new people, which quickly became family.

They made my first ski season even better than I ever imagined, so if you're wanting to do a ski season too, I would definitely recommend WEARESNO as your company!

For a few years I knew that I wanted to do a ski season and it was also an ambition of mine to ski the legendary Japow snow. I finally took the plunge last year by joining the Niseko WEARESNO course and I couldn’t have been happier with my decision.

It was a seamless process with WEARESNO from helping with my visa application, picking me up at the airport, organising some super fun events with the fellow interns and getting us settled in with the ski school upon completion of our exam.

Having Ed and Dewansh in resort with us during our training was really cool and the WEARESNO crew really felt like one big family. I was also amazed at how much my own skiing progressed with both the ProPeak training and training provided by the ski school throughout the rest of the season.

I made some great friends and memories on my season and I’ve been left craving more. Having initially thought I would only do one ski season, I now hope to expand on my experience and complete more seasons as a ski instructor in the future.

Having returned home to Australia after spending my first snow season teaching in Niseko I have to reminisce on the amazing time I had making new friends from far and wide during my internship with WeAreSno.

My decision to go to Japan for the snow season was made at fairly short notice and I am so pleased that I got the opportunity to go and join the WeAreSno internship program. I found Adrian at WeAreSno extremely helpful and informative in being able to organize everything I needed to get started on my trip to becoming a professional snowboard instructor.

My time in Niseko was incredible with both Ed and Dewansh providing a warm welcome and making sure everyone connected and felt at ease. The training I received from the WeAreSno and Propeak staff was excellent and prepared us in advance for our exams. Once I passed the exam I felt comfortable and more than confident in performing my instructor duties. My personal snowboarding and communication skills also improved considerably during this period due to the fantastic training we received. Thanks to WeAreSno I have gained the confidence to teach others and enjoy the satisfaction in helping anyone I meet to get stoked and learn how to snowboard.

The internship training program provides excellent opportunities for getting started in the industry allowing you to ski/snowboard and teach all year round, no matter where the snow may be. My journey to Niseko was an unforgettable experience and I would not hesitate in recommending this internship to anyone wishing to enhance their skiing and snowboarding experiences or commencing a role as an instructor.

I have just come back from a season in Niseko, Japan with We Are Sno and already miss it!

From the day you arrive the We Are Sno crew, Ed and Dewansh, made sure we felt welcome and helped the group integrate well. Having a diverse group on the programme means you can meet amazing people from all over the world. The training we received from the Propeak crew was world-class and not only helped us prepare for the instructor exams but also made us confident going into the instructor job. My skiing improved so much during this training as well as my confidence and communication skills.

We Are Sno have a great relationship with the ski school, Niseko Village. It is a great place to start your ski instructor career, and I really enjoyed teaching lessons with them. They also offer ski training throughout the whole season so your skiing continues to improve.

Choosing this programme was the best decision I have ever made, I would reccomend it to anyone thinking of a snow sport career!

I just finished doing a season in Niseko, Japan with We Are Sno and it was absolutely incredible.
The training you receive is really amazing it totally changed my skiing for the better. The training with pro peak was hands down my favourite part of the winter because that’s when I felt the most progression with my skiing. They do an amazing job preparing you for ski instructing also. We Are Sno do a really good job introducing everybody and having big group events so we can all get to know each other. Once you are teaching at the snow school they do a good job of checking up on you and seeing how things are going.
This program is outstanding I’m so happy I got to be apart of it.

I have just completed a winter season in Niseko Japan and it was one of the best things I have ever done. I had been Working in construction for about 5 years after completing high school, I had always wanted to do a season in the snow. After going to Niseko for a snowboard holiday back in 2017. I thought the town had a great vibe and amazing snow which made me really keen to return and possibly stay for the winter season.

I stumbled across the wearesno website while looking for possible job opportunities in the snow. The first thing that caught my eye was they had an internship program set up in Niseko which sparked my interest straight away. After looking into the program wearesno offered and comparing it with some other training programs I thought they seemed like the best fit for me.

I applied to see if I was eligible, which I was. The next step was an interview over the phone with Adrian. Where I had the opportunity to ask him more questions about the program and he asked some questions about me. Within the next few days they let me know I had been accepted into the internship program if I wanted to do it.

The Wearesno team helped me through the preparation stage before getting to Japan going over and above to make the process as easy as possible.

Once getting to Japan I got to meet 24 of the most amazing people from all over the world. We were trained for our level one exams by the Propeak crew. Which helped develop my snowboard riding. teaching others to snowboard. But one of the biggest things I struggled with was public speaking. The way they structured the training was great and I felt my confidence grow everyday as we practiced the way we deliver and structure our lessons. Which set all of us up for success in our level one exams where everyone passed.

But it wasn’t all just work. There is great nightlife in and around Niseko. You are given plenty of opportunity to go out and enjoy yourselves.

After passing our exams we then go to the next phase of the program where we start instructing to the public and earning money. I wasn’t sure if I was going to enjoy teaching. But after doing it for 3 months their is nothing else I want to do. And you get to meet the big ski school crew at Niseko Village. I felt like they were very passionate about making the guests/clients have the best stay possible. Everyone was really positive in and around the ski school which made it a great place to work and live.

Joining the wearesno internship program was one of the best decisions I ever made. The crew that run it are great genuine people and I’m very grateful to get to know them.

From the First day I was as in contact with WEARESNO they were professional, passionate about there course and extremely helpful. They made the preparation for the course effortless and were willing to help at all times whether it was visa help or recommending equipment. I would highly recommend this course to anyone passionate about snow sports and anyone wanting a break from life back at home. I have made friends for life and learnt skills I never would have if I didn’t take the leap and join the WEARESNO family.

I’ve always had a dream of spending a season on snow so I thought why not become a ski instructor. I’ve also wanted to go to Canada and go skiing. So why not ski instructor in Canada?? I found a couple companies who helped people become instructors in Canada but they were all very expensive compared to what you actually get...but then I found We Are Sno and I’m having the time of my life!

I am from Sweden and many other people from there choose to go with the same company. But going with We Are Sno I have been the only Swede, actually the only person whose first language isn’t English. Which has benefited me tremendously because that have forced me to talk English all the time. My English has improved so much from when I first got here!

I have met so many amazing new people and learned so much coming over here. That is thanks to We Are Sno for fixing everything before we got here so we could focus on having fun and getting to know people. We did not have to think about finding an accommodation, find a instructor course, then find a job and all that which was super sweet.

We Are Sno are truly a nice company who really cares about the people traveling with them and try to make everything as perfect as it possibly can be. If your thinking about doing a season for the first time don’t hesitate going with We Are Sno, it is totally worth it. You are gonna have the time of your life!
