Ordered from Uber Eats from the Southampton branch. Been wanting to try for a while. Well tried once and won't use again. Ordered 2 breakfast wraps and the wraps looked like they had been folded by children. Bacon wasn't cooked properly. Also forgot to put the hot drink in even though the receipt that was stapled to the bag and in capital letters says 'HOT DRINK'. Do the staff not tick off what's going in the bag? Anyway tried and won't be using again. Stick to Greggs, people.

On two occasions I went there and had bacon rolls and sausage in rolls both times the food was served cold with disgusting margarine when I already told the girl serving me that I did not want any spread I spent £28 the first visit and £15 the second time both times put in the bin

I bought 4 steak slices the other day cost £10 that's ridiculous I won't be going back there day light robbery

First ever visit and cakes were very dry, probably the previous days. Expensive as well so won’t go there again. Interesting that company do not respond to negative reviews here so you can only think that they do not care.

I recently visited the London road store for lunch greeted by two lovely ladies Steph and Jess they were very helpful as I wanted a baguette but do not like sauce, they offered to make a baguette for me southern fried with lettuce and onion without the mayonnaise and asked if I wanted to make it a meal deal with a drink and crisps or a sweet treat I took a yummy and a oat milk latte one got the latte and other got the yummy excellent team work, was served quickly and efficiently, Great value for money highly recommend this store the ladies are always happy to help and very friendly.

Ruislip branch Jamaica beef patty has risen from £2.50 to £3.15. this is a total Joke, this will be my last purchase.

The manager of Portsmouth store Alex is homophobic, transphobic and a racist . All of this has been reported to upper management by all staff members and evidence was provided with cctv footage and audio . But then upper management do nothing , it is the worst company to work for DO NOT SUPPORT THEM . Do not buy the fairy cakes cos they have probably been there for months , not much is fresh apart from the bread. Also there bakes aren’t even their own .

Sandwiches are good but the sweet stuff, pastries and cakes are just inedible, went straight into rubbish bin! What a waste…bread is also very mediocre for a bakery

Wish I had looked on here before I ordered on Deliveroo from Wenzels Harpenden. Can’t fault Deliveroo - their driver waited there for 30 minutes. I cannot understand how it took them 40 minutes to put 3 pies and some doughnuts in a bag. When it arrived, there was only one pie. Not impressed. AVOID

Purchased a marble cake loaf which was completely unmixed. They don’t seem to reply to critical comments so I won’t expect a resolution.

So most morning we go Wenzels where we see how wrong they can get our order which every time they do!! The Gerrards cross wenzels is the worst really slow and wrong items how can you mess up a bacon and sausage roll with ketchup 😂😂😂

I visited the Winchester branch this week , I can not thank Kris enough for his amazing customer service, with a constant smile on his face and a bubbly personality he really is a great asset to the shop! he was so helpful when we was asking questions for making an order for a party.

Bakery items are very good,Mainly the sandwiches and ideas for breakfast,but drinks need to better,they have a taste of saltiness in the mocha and hot chocolate,they need to use better quality cocoa powder rather than thinking of making profit.

Ok… Wenzels are expensive but you get what you pay for. Their club chicken baguettes with bacon and cheese are so delicious. Their bloomer sandwiches are a delight too… no skimping on fillings or dry bread.
Cakes are extremely nice too… my grandson loved the Chocolate cookie cake with ‘eyeball’… I had a pastry and it was lovely and fresh. The pack of jam donuts are Jammie and very moorish…
Wenzels bread is very nice but like all freshly baked bloomers, it needs consuming pretty fast … it won’t last days! It’s very tasty bread though. I had a poppy seeded bloomer… mmmm love the poppy seeds even if they get stuck in your teeth!
Staff in Portsmouth always look happy to serve you! Service is fast and efficient xx love the paper carriers too!

Food from here is always a delight. The bakery is spotless and it’s nice to see where the food is prepared! I love this bakery!!!

I attended a party this weekend where the food, ordered from Wenzels, was extremely disappointing. The spring rolls were unpleasantly chewy, and it seemed like they were devoid of any filling. The pizza slices were somewhat more tolerable, but clearly not baked to the desired standards, evidenced by the cheese melting all over the box, which was unappetizing, especially for catering.

To make matters worse, when I discussed the issue with the party host today, she informed me that Wenzels refused to address the problem unless the food was returned. Unfortunately, the venue organizers had already disposed of the items as they were simply inedible. This experience has left me with a strong impression that we will never consider ordering from Wenzels again, and I cannot recommend their catering services based on this disappointing encounter.

Very disappointed with my last two trips, brought a Sausage roll from the Maidenhead branch and it was burnt and cold and a bacon roll from another branch which the roll was stale and the bacon was cold.. Will not be returning...

Too busy making cups of coffee to serve customers. 3 members of staff wandering around but didn't want to serve the customers. Iv seen this behaviour in 4 wenzels now so I don't bother and look for a Greggs

The picture says it all, what a pathetic attempt at a ham and cheese baguette. The ham and cheese were positioned on the outer edge portraying it actually had any filling. 2 tiny slices of ham, tiny cheese, filled 20% of the baguette.Feel robbed!!!!!
