J’ai réservé en fin Aout 2018 une véhicule via le service de conciergerie de ma carte bancaire pour 387e environ pour une semaine(citroen cactus)
J’ai demandé au guichet de rajouter mon fils comme deuxième conducteur.
Avec un grand sourire,la responsable irlinda(je crois) m’a dit ok et m’a demandé de signer le contrat conforme à ma réservation.
Au retour,j’ai demandé une facture.
On m’a dit qu’il fallait une demi heure pour l’etablir...
J’ai attendu et on m’a presenté une facture de 555 euros me rajoutant plus de 150 euros pour mon fils!!!
Bien evidemment,on me m’a jamais informé du surplus et on m’a dit que j’avais signé le contrat..donc que je n’avais plus rien à dire!
On vous facture des suppléments sans vous avoir préalablement informé dans une langue que vous ne maitrisez pas!!!
Aucun sens commercial.
On comprend mieux pourquoi il n’y a personne devant le comptoir.

Not the best cars and if they broke down in the middle of nowhere, they do not only provide the worst service (very difficult to even get the car towed away) but also charge you for some ridiculous things.
Including surcharges for the gas since you couldn't fill the tank anymore - after all your car breaks down in the middle of nowhere. WinRent then does not charge market prices for the gas but almost doubles the price and adds a hefty service charge.
They also do not at all reimburse you for how you get to the next station to get a new car.
Their service team also is not really interested in helping you, so good luck trying to reach them over and over again and negotiating a solution. Hopefully this isn't during the evening when you can't reach them at all and you need to walk 10 km to the town you stay in ;)
Highly recommend getting a car from a different company!

Muy malo, mal servicio y peor personal.
Nos cobraron un suplemento diario porque la tarjeta con la que se había abonado el alquiler no era de crédito. y además otro suplemento por coger el coche en aeropuerto de Olbia y dejarlo en el aeropuerto de Calgliari. el depósito de gasolina no estaba lleno cuando nos lo dieron. OJO A LA LETRA PEQUEÑA.

We were very late for our car rental and in hesitation went for win rent for the first time.
It proves to be a wonderful decision,
+ processing was easy,
+ we got the right advice for adding full insurance and removing car
booster seat for our daughter.
+ given discount while adding 2nd driver
+ we got Renault decent, nice car with all comfy stuff
+ drop off was in seconds

Wir haben ein Auto (Mittelklasse) über bsp-auto.com von Winrent in Palermo für vier Tage angemietet. Als Selbstbehalt im Schadensfall waren 1800 EUR auf meiner Kreditkarte gesperrt. Der Preis mit knapp 300 EUR war günstiger als bei der Konkurrenz. Über bsp-auto.com wurde noch für 7 EUR pro Tag eine Zusatzversicherung für Vollkasko im Schadensfall ohne Selbstbeteiligung abgeschlossen. Da wir das Auto in Catania abegeben wollten, zahlten wir noch einen angemessenen Aufschlag von 61 EUR.
Das Mietauto war in einem einwandfreien Zustand, wenig Spritverbrauch da dieselbetrieben.
Die Übergabe und die Abgabe des Autos am Flughafen war schnell und problemlos verlaufen. Es wurde uns keine Zusatzversicherung vom Vermieter angedreht. Das Abgabeprotokoll wurde uns gleich ausgehändigt und am nächsten Tag kam schon eine E-Mail Benachrichtigung dass die Kaution von 1800 EUR auf der Kreditkarte wieder entsperrt worden ist.
Alles in einem eine sehr positive Erfahrung, kein Zeitverzug bei der Abholung und Abgabe, das Mietauto in einem sehr gutem Zustand,
Preis-Leisungsverhältnis sehr gut gemessen an der Konkurrenz in Sizilien.
Würde jederzeit wieder ein Auto von WinRent anmieten...

Winrent charged me an insurance (supercover) that I don´t ask for. In addition, the rental agreement describes explicitily this insurance as includes in the rate. Is it include in the rate but win rent charged an extra fee of 400 euros?!

Pésima información y pésimo servicio. Tras haber alquilado un coche para 10 días y con todo incluido. Nos obligaron a pagar un seguro adicional. Cuando devolvimos el coche nos cobraron un sobre cargo adicional de 15€ por limpieza!!!! No recomiendo alquilar un coche con esta compañía jamás!!!! Viajo muy habitualmente por todo el mundo y jamás había recibido un servicio ta lamentable!!!!
Rented from Win Rent through Holiday Autos on a recent trip to the Amalfi Coast and basically I can sum up the experience as one of legalised robbery!! Received an upgraded car initially as booked car not avalilable (so far so good), but the Suzuki Baleno offered was dirty inside and had lots of scuffs and scrapes all over the car which I was assured was already documented on the papaerwork. When I tried to verify this I was pushed along to accept the car as delivered by the impatient delivery driver so had no real option but to accept. On return was left at the desk whilst the Win Rent rep took a full 15 minutes to examine the car and on her return pronounced she had noted 3 additional small areas of damage on the car - uncorroborated. It beggars belief that anyone could have detected more minor damage and state that this was new when the car had so much damage on it in the first place!! Luckily I had taken out full insurance so should get all the money back but this is very sharp practice and a way for Win Rent to generate an income from what is essentially a scam - legalised robbery!! Will never use again and will give Win Rent the kind of review they deserve - AVOID.

dopo aver noleggiato 1 giorno un auto (€ 65) dopo 6 giorni e solleciti vari la cauzione su carta di credito per € 200 risulta ancora bloccata !!!

Llevo desde el mes de marzo reclamando un cobro de 40 euros que se me ha cargado en la tarjeta sin mi autorización repetidas veces cuando yo pagué un seguro a todo riesgo y además se devolvió el vehículo en perfecto estado, limpio y con el tanque de combustible lleno. Son unos impresentables. No recomiendo está empresa para nada.
Got charged a 40 euros+VAT 1 week after the deposit was transferred back to me for "Out of hours" pick up. This has never been mentioned to me at any time. even though this kind of charges are stated in tiny letters in the Ts &Cs, this is terrible practice from Win Rent that at no point during the booking or hiring process I was clearly made aware of this risk ! Plus I was directly debited from my account with no explanation whatsoever.. This is dishonest behaviour.

I recently rented a car in Sicily.
Having had several very negative experiences of car hire abroad, I decided to do some research.
Recently there have been changes to how information on car hire sites must be presented but it is still very confusing.
Every car hire company and every comparison site has extremely negative feedback.
Both the comparison site and the rental firm that I chose had reviews telling customers to avoid them.
In the end I chose carrentals.co.uk and winrent because both had some good reviews whereas most have no good reviews. Winrent also has been replying to bad reviews with explanations and I thought that this at least showed some sort of a desire to protect their reputation and a willingness to explain their behaviour.
Winrent was not the cheapest price and I chose to pay for Excess Reimbursement.
Surprisingly my experience with Winrent was entirely positive. It was a friendly and non confrontational service on collection and return. I was even given a discount on the charge for an extra driver. This was the only payment needed at the desk and I was informed of it before arrival.
An additional cover/service was suggested at the desk but it wasn't pressured and I simply declined it.
I would have given 5 stars but am aware that I may just have been lucky.
The industry needs a complete overhall. I expect this car rental review to be one of VERY few good ones on the Trustpilot website.

Vi fik ikke vores bil udleveret i Bologna lufthavn som vi havde betalt for fordi vores fly var forsinket. I receptionen sad en uforskammet kvinde der sagde at de havde lejet vores bil ud til nogen andre. Da vi kom for sent. Brug dem ikke !!
Der stod vi kl 22 med tre børn og en lejlighed booket 90 min væk.
Booked a car from WinRent online, for 3 days, from Turin Airport. Arrived at the desk, - no queue! Guy behind the desk did the paper work - no hard sell to upgrade, purchase any extra insurance (I had already purchased it online in the UK) - what a pleasure! The whole thing took about 10 minutes and we were away, in a brand new Citron C3 with 1500 k on the cloak. So I give WinRent full marks.
Hopefully there will be no sting in the tail in a months time when I find that money has been taken from my card for some spurious reason!
